    First Drop Hangtime Temps mort

For the most part, Wildfire is a breathtaking ride experience. It could stop at the top of the lift hill for 40 minutes before an evacuation and still be an unrivalled experience; the views from atop are easily amongst some of the most picturesque from any roller coaster in the world. The plunge down the cliff side is outrageously run, as is the hang time hill following it. A perfect blend of height mixed with close call terrain rushes give Wildfire its unmistakable identity. Despite this however, not all is perfect. The 3/4 mark on the layout signals the end of its bite, as the train seemingly limps with lack of ambition back to the station giving riders time to collect their breath. In reality, a balls to the wall finish dash to the brake run would have been the icing on the cake for Wildfire.

Where did the dragon go ! It's still there in the mine walkthrough you can do, but if i remember you used to come very close to the dragon breathing fire on the ride.. shame they changed that.. Not really sure why they put the VR on here.. A classic from my childhood though! Can't go to EP without a ride on the runaway train (as we always used to call it!)

Decent short family coaster with a moderately forceful end helix, and some alrighty twisted hills. I prefer back seat for this one!

    Inversions Bonne suprise ! Layout

A very good inverted coaster with a decent launch and intense inversions. It isn't rough like other Vekoma coasters I have ridden and had a unique layout. I was very impressed with this one! The speed and intensity is maintained throughout.

Could not fathom the high ratings on this one. Want to know how to make a hypercoaster slow, airtime free and forceless? Come try Steel Force.

It's hard to image a 250ft coaster being dull, but somehow SFMM managed it with this one! We've been spoiled by so many other, better hypercoasters. The MCB grinds the ride to almost a complete halt, taking a lot of the G out of the "fabled" helix. The drops aren't especially steep, airtime is limited due to use of straight-track rather than parabolas (think Blackpool's Big One), and the boxy-trains by todays standards don't expose you anywhere near the same as Intamin or B&M efforts.

    First Drop Fun Intensité

Best wooden coaster I've been on. Very intense and doesn't let up. The station fly through is very exciting. Superb. Gets a bit much after repeated rides to be honest. Amazing what they can do with wooden coasters.

First Drop Lap Bar Situation Théma

My favourite coaster currently. Superb first drop. Great height (still the highest in the UK and could stay that way for some time). Great speed. Not nauseating at all so is superb if you can't handle repeated airtime / too much G force. Very thrilling because of the location and constant high ride heights. One of the best decisions ever for the theme park / coaster industry was to build this coaster. Kept Blackpool on the map for a long time. Could perhaps do with a re-theme. Some music as what was done with Icon would be amazing.

    Harnais Intensité Théma Débit

So I was dreading riding this because of its age (and we all know Vekoma's don't really age that well ;-) .. but having said that I rode in dec 2018 (so after it's refurb, new restraints and new track..) and I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it was !! I think the new restraints made a big difference.. and it was actually pretty intense in some places.. It was ok. Not my fav style of ride tho.. i prefer bigger drops and launches ;)
