    Vitesse Fun

A neat GCI woodie that's tucked in the back corner of the park. The ride was probably smoother back when it opened, but I wouldn't call it particularly rough amongst all the other woodies I've ridden. Ride this one at night; it becomes a lot more fun when the indoor sections become near-blackout in the absence of the sun.

    Launch Harnais Trop court Intensité

While the horse themed motorbike restraints are very cool, the ride itself leaves a bit to be desired in terms of intensity and length (like 30 seconds). To a seasoned coaster-fan, the thrills just aren't really there to make this one stick out. However, this is a perfect ride to bring the younger fans who may be ready to graduate from the Wild Mouses, but aren't quite ready for anything too crazy. Very much a "babby's first launch coaster" kind of ride.

    Inversions Situation Fluidité

Really nice B&M Invert that's right at the front of the park. Having the first thing you see when you walk in being people skimming and flipping above the water really sets the tone well, and shows just how far Knott's has come from its humble origins. While it's a bit longer than Batman: The Ride, I found it to be a bit more mellow. This may disappoint some who're looking for something to blow Batman out of the water, but this ride is definitely no slouch. Whether you're looking to jump straight into the thrills Knott's has to offer, or catch one last ride that's on the way to the exit, Silver Bullet is definitely one of your best options.

    Inversions Fun Intensité Baffes

Yea, this ride can beat the shit out of you if you're not braced for it; but the sheer intensity and adrenaline pumping experience this ride provides cannot be overstated. Add the fact that there's almost never a line for this thing because of its reputation and somewhat secluded location, and you have the potential for some truly crazy ride counts even when the other rides may be swamped. Respect the ride, and it shall provide.

    Airtimes First Drop Fluidité

Loads of perfect floater airtime when sitting towards the middle of the train.

I rode this in it's original form at Metroland, maybe within a year or two of it opening. This is my ground zero! Could do a lot worse than this. Remember it mostly for it's helix.

A slew of poor Intamin rides in various other parks (e.g. Colossus, Furius Baco, Cheetah Hunt, Rita) largely meant I ignored Maverick; having done the ECC trip in 2006. Big mistake. Returning in 2019 I found an absolutely outstanding ride. The modified trains are most welcome. The not-lift-launched-lift is a novel addition and means the ride is hauling right from the first moment. The whole route offers uncompromising snap rolls and airtime. One of the best rides the park, and crucially, it is highly re-rideable. (Cough, Steel Vengeance). This ride format is ideal for many parks that can't build up to high altitudes; a shame that there aren't more of its ilk.

    Airtimes Intensité Ejectors

This was one of the earliest stops on the 2006 ECC tour, and absolutely excellent. Speed, wide open trains, heavy G in all directions; a tunnel; and a great setting. Sets an incredibly high bar for hypercoasters that I don't really feel has been bettered. I hear this one was Werner Stengel's favourite too...?

Violent, nuts, probable clearance issues if you are stupid enough to put your hands out. Chain lifts moving within inches of your head. Stallable if you rock the cars side to side to bleed off speed. Totally understand why and how it came to it's end. Still one of the best ever rides in the UK, it's like will not be seen again against backdrop of H&S gone mad.

Superb ride. One of the best wooden coasters currently operating, quite incredible given it's age!
