Fun Inconfort Sans intérêt

I was never too keen on the Bob, as it is not the most exciting ride, even though it was very unique. However, if I would've known what would replace it, I'd never want to see it disappear.

Baron 1898 is a fun ride for sure. It just does not live up to the high expectations. For starters, the theme is detailed and interesting. The soundtrack is great. However, it just did not immerse me as much as other rides in the Efteling. Especially compared to De Vliegende Hollander, though this ride has a far better coaster obviously. The layout is decent. I liked the drop, and the inversions were alright. It is, however, clearly way too short. Baron 1898 is a smooth coaster but the lack of airtime makes it just kind of boring at times. Considering the long wait times the ride is rarely worth riding, though as a one time ride I'd still recommend it.
