Even as a kiddie coaster, this one feels entirely pointless. Apart from the station building, which looks decent, there is no theming whatsoever, and the ride itself is entirely forceless. What is more, Flotter Otto did three laps when I rode it. It's one of the most boring kiddie coasters I've ridden. Even the standard whacky worm has a better drop sprinkled in. If you compare it to Fridolin's at Fantasiana, which is also a launch coaster with a minimum height requirement of 90cm, this just feels both cheap and embarrassing.

While it is advertised as the world's longest alpine coaster, it is only the third longest according to rcdb. Nevertheless, the aptly named Alpine Coaster is a long ride: it takes roughly 5 1/2 minutes from start to finish without engaging the brakes. While the sleds/cars are trimmed to not exceed 40km/h, it is enough speed to experience some nice laterals during many of the turns. There's no sense of airtime but a few of the triple-downs let you hop out of your seat for a fraction of a second. As the coaster gets quite busy in the afternoon with lots of slow riders, your best course of action is to head there first thing in the morning. As the lines are short then, you should be able to wait a little longer than usual at the station, as long as you ask nicely. I got an extra minute and could complete the whole course without engaging the brakes at all. The only downside: having to push the brake lever forward for such a long amount of time can get a bit uncomfortable.

Let's start with the downsides for once: Aside from the non-existing theming it's a shame that Expedition GeForce only runs on one train with pretty average operations. Therefore the queue can grow longer than it needs to be. Luckily, even on busier days the queue seems to shrink a lot throughout the day. The ride itself is a classic with its signature twisted drop that, unfortunately, is only really worldclass on the left side of the train. Interestingly enough, I thought it was best experienced not in the last row but somewhere between rows 10-12: In the back row I was pulled down quite fast whereas the other rows in the back half had me out of my seat for a few more seconds. At least that was what it felt like. The rest of the layout is not exactly rich in variety but delivers some of the best drawn-out ejector airtime I've experienced. Every single one of those hills hits, while some of the valleys - especially the one following the first camelback - pull strong positive Gs. Sprinkle in one or two head choppers and you've got yourself a breathtaking experience that only suffers a little from its rather uneventful section in the middle where it's mostly turns. What GeForce lacks in excitement at the half-way point, it makes up for with a strong finale. It's definitely a coaster that's worth the trip, especially as it's still quite smooth for its age. Front row is great too but if you're using the fast pass, I'd recommend picking second row: It's just 1 credit instead of 2 but doesn't really change the experience due to the slightly elevated seating position. I wouldn't be mad if they were able to change the trains for some newer and more comfortable ones, though.

While feeling a bit out of place in the general area, the horror theming of Sky Scream is quite nicely realized in the queue. You'll pass morbid scenery and a few jump scares on your way to the station which apparently is empty most of the time. Waiting times were around 10 minutes maximum, although Sky Scream was a walk-on for most of the day. It's a cool layout for such a small footprint and while the launch was just alright in my book, the train was running smoothly. I wasn't a fan of the confined seating arrangement but as a smaller person, it wasn't really uncomfortable either. When it comes to the ride experience, I'd strongly recommend the front car, as my back row ride felt quite lackluster: you'll get more out of the backwards spike in the front as well as better hangtime on the roll at the top. I just wish Sky Scream would do two laps as it just feels awfully short and thereby somewhat incomplete. Still a fun ride to squeeze in now and again throughout the day.

It's very difficult to give an accurate account of Super Wirbel after so many years. I rode it some 27 years ago before Expedition GeForce even had been constructed. Watching onride footage these days reveals a rather boring layout to be fair. But back then I loved it: It was my first coaster with inversions and thereby opened up the world of thrill coasters to my younger self. I can't remember Andy headbanging but I might as well not have cared for ride comfort as much as a kid. When it was a slow day I got as many laps on as I could. That's why Super Wirbel will always have a special place in my heart.

Tabaluga's Achterbahn may be a short ride but it was way more fun than I expected. It might be one of the smoothest Zierer coasters I have experienced yet and has some light but atmospheric theming. Granted, it's a little sparse inside the cave with just a few figures standing around but with all the lights simulating a night sky it looks great regardless. Despite its two laps, Tabaluga's Achterbahn could do with a longer layout but it's still a good junior coaster regardless.

Zadra is simply spectacular. It's a great ride in every row but the first drop is best to be experienced in the back. You'll leave your seat for what feels like an eternity before the insanity kicks in. Zadra just hauls through the layout without catching its breath even for a moment. Every element hits while also being smooth as butter. The airtimes are strong, the inversions fun and the signature stall simply outstanding. You'll pass it with so much speed that you'll truly feel weightless, and if you decide to look down at the ground, time seems to stop for a few seconds. There's not a single thing I disliked about Zadra and I could have ridden it all day long without ever getting sick of it. The ibox trains are not the most comfortable, to be honest, but I didn't mind too much. Long story short: This coaster alone is worth the trip to Poland.

Hyperion might have been my biggest disappointment at Energylandia. I was really looking forward to riding it but found the total package to be a bit underwhelming, I'm afraid. My biggest gripe is the constant rattle which left me with a light headache after most of my rides. It's more pronounced on the wing seats but I even had a bad ride on one of the inner seats. Hyperion's biggest strength is its drop including the first camelback which both offer great airtime. The turnaround does nothing for me personally, but that's the case with ~95% of dive loops out there. The following few elements like the speed and airtime hills don't do anything, however, and are complete duds, I'm afraid. Afterwards Hyperion transitions into a speedy layout sticking close to the ground. It's alright for what it is but it's not what I'd like to see from a hyper coaster. I actually think Wodan (Europa Park) or Zadra do a better job of pacing through their elements. At least the final ejector hill before the splash zone is a satisfying end to a ride that wasn't able to really grab me. Personally, I enjoyed the front row more than the back due to a heightened sense of speed. If you're looking to get on Hyperion, wait for the middle of the day (1-2 pm) when the queue times may drop to 5-10 minutes even on busy days.

Abyssus is the heart of the Aqualantis area and it surely looks the part. It's not extensively themed but it's blue track, the boat-shaped trains and the surrounding water are visually appealing. It's a popular ride which is partly due to its long duration and smoothness. And while the layout features a couple of nice airtime moments and inversions that are heavy on the positive forces, it also suffers from a couple of dead spots. The launches are almost laughably weak, especially the first one, and despite the coaster finally picking up some speed after the second launch, it can't always deliver on its promise. Especially the top hat is ruined by a trim brake which robs Abyssus of any semblance of airtime (in the back). Overall, it's a good ride and a crowd-pleaser but I left feeling a little underwhelmed due it's pacing issues. I like it but it could have been so much better if it picked up more speed initially and didn't have the trim before the drop.

Unfortunately, the ride is over far too quickly which holds Formula back. As its capacity is quite limited, there's almost always a queue of at least 20-30 minutes which the coaster - as fun as it is - just isn't worth it given the alternatives Energylandia has to offer. While I do think that it's a better coaster than Abyssus in the same park, both duration and capacity are less of an issue with its sibling: So waiting in line for Formula might not always be the best option to maximize your fun at the park - and that is actually a shame.

As all modern Vekoma rides this is a very smooth experience. The layout is fun with good pacing for a family coaster. Zipping over the water and into the tunnel after the first drop is great but, unfortunately, is over far too quickly. Its short track length and very limited capacity (only 1 train) is holding Dragon Rollercoaster Coaster back. It has consistently long wait times on average as its quite popular with the crowd - it's a good and fun coaster but I wouldn't say the ride experience makes up for 20-30 minutes in the queue.

Unfortunately, Speed was a complete let-down. I liked both the (short) flume-part and the lift but the coaster section afterwards is just boring. The drop is not very steep at all while the following layout has got to be the most uninspired and boring layout I've experienced in a water coaster. There are simply no forces at work - I'd take Poseidon's (Europa Park) rattle over this snooze fest any day of the week.

First of all, they went out of their way with the queue line. The theming leading up to the station is outstanding. At the same time, the rock work on the track is still unfinished as of mid 2025 which hurts the atmosphere a bit. Other than that, Choco Chip Creek is a fun mine train which goes on for a long time and has a total of three lift hills. While the helices have decent forces, it's still a rather tame ride. It doesn't reach the heights of Colorado Adventure (Phantasialand) which might be partly due to its repetitive layout. All in all, Choco Chip Creek is an enjoyable coaster regardless. I'd happily ride it again any day of the week - maybe some day even in all it's glory once the work on its theming has been completed.

I think the train is supposed to be a swarm of bats flying through and between the structures. Apart from that, it's just a generic Vekoma boomerang: smooth yet uneventful. The drop is alright in the back, the turns adequately forceful for a family ride - however, "Boomerang" suffers from the abundance of Vekoma family coasters at Energylandia. It feels a bit pointless as there are much better options available on site.

I was curious to ride Mayan since it is a newer SLC with new trains and vest restraints. Turns out it was an absolutely decent experience. There are some janky turns here and there which throw you around a bit but thanks to the vest restraints, I didn't find it painful at all. Obviously, it's not the smoothest experience but I left the station without a concussion or a headache and the feeling that I actually wouldn't be completely opposed to riding it again.
I didn't do so in the end but I probably might should I return to Energylandia. Compared to older SLCs like Toxic Garden at Heide Park (torture machine), the difference is night and day. If you're not made of glass and like intense coasters, you might actually enjoy Mayan.
The theming is quite weak, though, and the track might have the ugliest colour scheme I have ever seen. Still, it's a surprisingly decent SLC if you dial in your expectations beforehand.

Honey Harbour surely was a surprise. It looks pretty tame but the helix actually is quite intense for such a small family ride. As all modern Vekoma coasters it was as smooth as can be while the short layout is not too big of a problem due to it doing two laps. During my visit in mid June, the ride was a walk-on at all times which should be great news for families. The theming is alright but could certainly be improved - at least the surrounding village is charming.

Frida is one of several Vekoma family coasters at Energylandia and doesn't really stand out from the bunch. What surprised me was the first drop that had more pull in the last row than I expected. Other than that, you can expect a perfectly smooth experience that is mildly fun but over way too sun. What drags it down is the lack of any theming: The purple colour scheme feels out of place next to the medieval-inspired village it's located at.

Well, given its reputation I braced for the worst but found Viking Rollercoaster actually somewhat tolerable. It's not a good ride, mind you, it's a terrible one, in fact, that is especially ruined by the over-the-shoulder restraints. It would be a janky but mildly fun spinning wild mouse if it relied on a lap-bar only. In its current state, it's dreadful as the potholes and spins can get quite uncomfortable. At least it's not on the level of the worst SLCs, though.

At least, the 3 year old in the car in front of me had lots of fun smiling for the camera on every lap. While you have to admire the attempt at theming - and there is a lot of it for a kiddie coaster - it still feels rather cheap and thrown together. Nevertheless, this is probably Mars' greatest strength as everything else around it disappoints. It's unnecessarily rough with janky turns and therefore feels like a coaster of a bygone era. The park has so many better coasters on offer that Mars is not needed anymore.

I can see small kids having fun on Draken but all of the Vekoma family coasters in the park are a lot better. So in the end it's just there.

I wasn't sure beforehand if I was going to like Lech Coaster as the reviews painted it as extremely heavy on the positive Gs. While it does deliver on that aspect, the ride is also glass-smooth which makes it very re-ridable. I liked both the front and the back but the drop is certainly something you'd like to experience in the rear most of the time.
Apart from the positive forces - greyouts are pretty much a guarantee - Lech also delivers on the other end of the spectrum. The airtime is surprisingly strong despite the vest restraints. They're not too bad but lap-bar only would have been even better, I think. In any case, I think Lech is the full package. I enjoyed every second of it and found myself entering the queue for "just one more ride" more often than I'd like to admit. Brilliant coaster.

Devil's Loop neither looks nor sounds too trustworthy, and while it's definitely a shaky ride, I didn't finde the rattle too distracting. The two loops are fun with decent forces but apart from that there's nothing going on. The restraints are on the uncomfortable side but there's a backwards seat in the back of that's your thing.

It certainly is an interesting experience: a tiny version of a B&M wing coaster is most certainly not what most people had on their bingo card before this ride opened. Due to its low height and heavy trains, watching Maximus leave the lift hill might seem a little sluggish at first. But don't underestimate the following helix which pulled a surprisingly high amount of positive Gs.
The two inversions are taken rather slowly, especially the second one offers lots of hangtime. Since Maximus reaches the break run shortly after, it feels like half a ride, though, which is in desperate need of at least two more elements. While the train design itself is amazing, a slight rattle and rather restrictive vests hurt the riding experience a little.

It's such a promising beginning: The dark ride section of Feuerdrache is great with some attention to detail, cleverly placed smoke effects and other ways to stimulate your senses. Unfortunately, the actual coaster part was a bit of a let-down with an uninspiring layout, barely any forces and a noticeable rattle throughout. It's not awful as a family attraction but feels a little outdated at times. As with Drachenjagd, try riding it early in the morning before most of the general public shows up.

As someone who is not the biggest fan of wild mouse coasters, I was pleasantly surprised by "Das große Lego Rennen". The cars look good and feel 'open' in the front row due to their design. The first drop is fun and the experience was surprisingly smooth all the way to the end. The classic hair-pin turns aren't taken too violently which means less laterals. But since I don't enjoy those elements too much anyway, I was quite happy with a tamer experience. Overall, it's a decent addition to the park line-up with only its light theming being truly subpar.
