My 1st review. I live about 2 and a half hours from FunTown SplashTown USA (My "Home Park"), but when I get to go down there, I always look forward to 3 rides the most, the Thunder Bolt, the Astrosphere, & the coaster I'm reviewing here, Excalibur. What good is there to say that hasn't been said before? It's Funtown's coaster icon for a reason, friends. It's really fun, the theming is just genius (complete with what I consider to be the bridge over the "moat"), the speed is just right for the ride itself, they keep the layout simple to let the thrills and excitement do the talking, and it's always worth the wait (which in my experiences, if there is one at all, is never too long). Oh, and as a bonus you get a head chopper effect during the course of the coaster's fun and exciting 2 minutes. In fact, the only note keep this icon from a perfect 5, is it's duration. To me, 2 minutes is too short and it hurts the otherwise, in my eyes, perfect experience for what is offered. I look forward to going to ride it again as I always do. The only question is, as it's t-shirt merch says, Can you survive Excalibur?
