Feel like these rides are all about style over substance. Off ride it looks amazing, the splash looks huge, it's very tall and quite imposing. In reality, whilst the drop is good, you get a light sprinkle only and the rest of the ride is both pretty uninspiring and very short. The coaster section runs well though and it's a comfortable boat too

This little family coaster was a big surprise, it's really fun! Good first drop in the back and a really fun snappy layout after. A touch short possibly but what's there really is good. Very smooth ride as well, and it runs 2 trains which means it gets through a queue better than most rides of it's size. Really a perfect smaller family coaster

I'm not a fan in any way of water rides, but creds a cred right? So I did Poseidon and indeed Atlantica. It's a very long ride and it really is stunning, it's beautiful to watch and the surroundings are beautiful on ride too, I think the Greek area of EP is the best themed in the park and Poseidon fits that perfectly. The coaster part is fun but definitely pretty rough, the first section could benefit a lot from some retracking. Perhaps something they can look at soon. Second drop is good though and pretty intense. In terms of wet level, it's more than a light sprinkle but not a soaker. At least the splashdowns aren't, there's an effect at the start that definitely is.

Tis a weird ride this. The layout is just odd and the fact it's a spinning coaster that doesn't spin during the actual coaster part is bizarre. Views from the top are nice though, you get to see Voltron super well up there. We got the first drop backwards and the rest of the layout forwards, which I was glad for as it's certainly not a smooth experience. I reckon doing the long second half backwards would be pretty brutal. The actual ride experience is fun but certainly nothing special. To add to the oddness, the best bit of the ride by far is the spiral lift with the awesome soundtrack. It's very unique but I can see why EP are looking to close it.

This is the kind of ride that is so so hard to rank. It's a suspended powered coaster, hardly the peak of thrill. Low height restriction, family theme. But this thing is absolutely amazing. This ride system might well be the best ride system ever developed in terms of how it can be used to combine a coaster and an immersive dark ride. The theming is just awesome, and even if you aren't familiar with the film, you can appreciate how wonderful this attraction is. It's very comfortable and super smooth as well, and the moving loading platform means that it's a powerhouse at shifting a queue. Just to top it off, it includes a (uncensored) bit of Still D.R.E. which should be mandatory on all family rides, the German attitude towards bad language is fantastic

There's really nothing that would improve this ride for what it is, it's super smooth, very comfortable, and has a really exciting layout that feels very fast in the dark. The spiral lift is really interesting and a great way to start off, the first drop feels really quite big and is great fun, and the rest of the layout just keeps going and going, and it keeps its speed so well. There's some fun theming in there as well, and the station and queue look great. For an indoor family coaster, I really can't fault it at all, great ride!

Silver Star is clearly a recipe for a good ride, but I do feel it's a bit undercooked. There's plenty of airtime, fun, floaty airtime, but the ride just left me wanting a bit more. I think maybe it's the first drop that does it, it's just not very good, even in the back. The subsequent big camelbacks give the floaty stuff, but it's after the midcourse when it comes alive really, those hills are very good. I'm not convinced by the clamshells though, they have a tendency to staple a lot, more so than other ride restraints, due to the size of the pad covering your legs. There's also definitely a strong rattle, though it's an older ride now and it isn't painful or anything, just annoying. It's a good coaster, and the height itself is very thrilling, but it doesn't quite deliver for me.

Blue Fire was of course the prototype Mack launch coaster. Without this ride, we may never have had the likes of Helix, Voltron, Ride to Happiness etc. And even though those rides are all significantly better, as you might expect, Blue Fire still holds up as a really fun ride. It doesn't do anything particularly outstanding but the layout is enjoyable with some good moments of snap, 4 fun inversions including that awesome final heartline roll, and a few bits of airtime, particularly at the back of the train. Even the launch is pretty good, certainly more snappy than many of the launches that came after it. Trains are brilliant as always from Mack, so comfortable, and even though it's getting on a bit now, it's still super smooth. Overall a very enjoyable ride

I love a woodie, and Wodan is an absolutely stunning example of why modern wooden coasters are such awesome assets to a park. The way this ride hauls through it's layout is crazy, GCI just nail the out of control feeling so so well. The first drop is superb, particularly at the back, as is the second drop which as a little kink in it to make sure you leave your seat. Everything following is equally brilliant, the pace is relentless and there's plenty of nice pops of airtime all the way round. It's not really an airtime focused layout but that doesn't bother me in the slightest when it's so fast paced. It's very smooth as well, EP clearly take great care of it as there's not a hint of roughness, just the classic woodie aggression which makes them so enjoyable. Awesome trains as always from GCI, so comfortable. It's also impeccably themed, the queue line is stunning with great views of the ride in the outdoor section and some really nice detailed theming inside. Wodan is an incredible ride, one of Europe's top coasters and, with Voltron, probably the very close second fiddle in one of the very best 1-2s around.

Voltron is really a showpiece of everything Mack can do on a coaster. There's element after element and pretty much all of them offer something to the layout, quite an achievement on a coaster exceeding 4000ft. The launches are all excellent, really snappy, which is a pleasant change up from the usual Mack fare, which are fine but nowhere near as thrilling as Voltrons. The beyond vertical launch is very strange but good fun. All of the inversions are good without being necessarily outstanding, apart from the stall, which offers some extremely memorable hangtime. Every airtime hill is pretty crazy ejector, all of them are awesome but the Wave turn in the second half is by far the best, that really caught me off guard. The layout as a whole is also extremely intense, almost too intense for my preference really, but if you're a fan of intense rides then voltron is going to deliver, the helix at the end is bone crushing. You experience all this in the most comfortable trains in the business, Mack have nailed their lap bars and seats. Unfortunately the ride definitely has a rattle. It isn't too bad on most of the trains but a couple its much more pronounced. I think depending on your tolerance for that, you may be able to look past it entirely. For me, it took away from it just a bit but it didn't stop Voltron from being a truly epic coaster. It's definitely one of the best rides in Europe and whilst it's not a ride I can hammer out laps on because of the intensity, it's certainly a coaster I would travel back to Europa Park for, even without Wodan and the fact that it's the best park going. Top, top coaster

Even with the new trains it's horrendously rough, some real jarring moments of headbanging, and whilst the new vests are very comfortable and soft, the headrests are rock solid, which isn't great when your head is thrown backwards into them. Shame as the layout is quite unique but it's just too rough to be enjoyable

What a mess. Any semblance of whether Tonnerre has a good layout is completely lost by the fact it runs very much like pulling a shopping trolley over a mountain. How a ride that has been retracked so recently can run so terribly is utterly beyond me. Of course much of the problem probably lies in the timberliner trains, which are appalling in every way. If it ran Millennium flyers or PTCs it may well not be so bad. Even beyond the roughness, the layout wasn't all the inspiring. Mid train it does nothing other than hurt. The front was better in terms of force but still not brilliant. It's also deafeningly loud, those trains make a hideous racket on the lift, all the way round, and particularly in the tunnel. I was really hoping to like Tonnerre but unfortunately it's one of the worst coasters I've done, which is a big shame

A really fun, well executed family coaster. Nicely themed station and a nice queue line out into the layout a bit. Trains are quite tight for the larger rider, had to be very well stapled, more so than on other family coasters. Fun tyre launch out of the station for the short prelift section. The main section of the coaster is good fun with some nice transitions and profiling. The mid ride theming is decent, which leads into the best bit of the ride, the good fun backwards section which feels quite snappy. Rides generally pretty well although we found train 1 a bit rattly. Excellent capacity too with 4 trains and good operations. Overall an excellent example of what a good family coaster should be

What an excellent ride OzIris is. Generally inverts aren't my favourite rides as I'm not that big on purely positives. But OzIris has such a diverse range of forces, plenty of intensity certainly but also some nice floaty rolls and even some good airtime moments. It's also got a phenomenal first drop, really punchy particularly on the back. Other highlights are the dive loop which i thought rode super well, the big drop down past the fountains, and the last roll which feels really floaty and is taken at a great speed. It's also very smooth and very rerideable which is great! A proper unexpected hit for me and actually my favourite ride on park

Unfortunately Toutatis just didn't do it for me. Now, there's a number of reasons I think that is. The layout has some great moments, but too much of it was average at best. The stall didn't feel like it did a whole lot, the section after the first launch sort of meanders a bit, but the key part that really was underwhelming was the top hat. Talk about a dead spot when you're crawling over the top thanks to the huge trim brake. One of the biggest killjoys I've experienced. However I think the main reason I wasn't a big fan is actually the trains. Other Intamin coasters (and other rides that are similarly aggressive) have seats that are raised up so your feet aren't touching the floor. Toutatis sits you very low down, and combined with my tall frame means it was just a bit unnatural with the restraints. Which made the very aggressive pops of ejector a bit uncomfortable. Don't get me wrong, it's still a great ride, excellent in fact. But it's no patch on the likes of Taiga and Helix. Perhaps as much a case of overhyped as anything else.

There is a place reserved in hell for every person who is responsible for this utter piece of shit coming into existence. From the designers at Zamperla to the people who commissioned it at the park. Every turn, both inversions, each drop do nothing but throw your body around in the stupid cage. At one point I thought my feet were going to snap in half on the little steps as they tried to bend between them. Just to add to it, the train smelt like dog shit as well. I feel like I've committed a war crime against myself for riding it. Hopefully one day someone can drop a piano on it like it's a Morris Marina on top gear.

The trains need more padding for the between the legs part, certainly with how rough it is, and for those who are tall like myself, the restraints just sit horribly on your thighs and try to snap them in half. Also it got stuck short of the station and 4 people had to push the train back in manually which was both hilarious and stupid at the same time, and demonstrated how hideously unreliable it was. Shame it's so uncomfortable as it does the launch a disservice

Quite a nice surprise for an SLC, it's pretty smooth! The restraints still suck but its amazing how okay these can be when your face isn't being planted into the OTSR at every opportunity. The shenlin layout is fine, drop is great and there's some intensity, but it's a bit meh and definitely a bit short. It's a fun ride though, number 2 in the park for me

The biggest issue with Colossus, the original 10 inversion coaster, is the God awful restraints. And whilst Sik is significantly better than that, it's once again the train which is the issue. Those lap bars are just not big enough to adequately support your body through the 5 rolls, you get thrown around and hung off your thighs and it's really rather unpleasant. Its a shame as they make the rest of the ride much, much better, hence I've listed them as a pro and a con, but man they hurt at the end. Up to that point though, Sik does right some of the wrongs of Colossus, the profiling changes make a big difference and the first drop is great, as is the speedy cable lift. The branding is mixed, the name is still stupid but the station is awesome, such a great atmosphere in there. Should have a second train really but this is flamingo land so no chance that'll ever happen. It's a good ride but thanks to the pain at the end it ends up leaving a bit to be desired
