It wasn't until I first rode another hyper-coaster that it occurred to me how badly Titan "lacks the sauce" of a truly great ride. Much like the park it sits in, Titan is enjoyable *enough* with its normally shorter wait times, the novelty factor for its size (currently the largest in TX), and intensity; in fact, those who love POSITIVE G's will love the double helix + final run into the station. "Comparison," however, "is the thief of joy," truly, as this coaster lacks any standout moments in its layout. Not a dang thing. The first drop is cool...but after that, there's not much airtime to speak of for a coaster of its height and layout. Personally, I don't think there's enough airtime to balance out the seemingly endless VERY intense, crushing moments.
BONUS: Titan has a "SECRET INVERSION" if you sit in the front row, left seat. After the mid-course break run, lean/dangle as limply as possible to the left out of the car for a few seconds of hangtime! No, seriously. Do it to freak out the GP at the very least.

Sure, the theming is great, and the cars are comfy (by RMC standards), but this ride has entirely way too slow operations. The ending was a nice little surprise with some pops of minor airtime, but this is absolutely a dark ride intended to give kids a taste of a "real coaster." It's a big jump from this to Outlaw Run across the park, but hey, get 'em started young, I say!

I got 8 rides in on my visit to SDC. The final moments before the final break run are absolutely insane for a wooden coaster. Some might complain about roughness or a rattle (compared to the Hybrid RMCs), but Outlaw Run is a WOODEN coaster through and through. The airtimes? Great. The forces? Powerful. The layout? Excellent, like all of the other coasters at SDC, Outlaw Run uses the setting to their advantage. The first drop "gaslights" you into thinking it's not that high until you dip through the pre-drop and just FLY down the main drop into the ravine - to say the front row is intense is an understatement (that drop is wild). And that finale? I was giddy as heck every time going through those rolls! Just go limp and let destiny take you, I say.
Others have mentioned a "pot hole" in the first drop and, man, do you feel it on wheel seats. Sit in the front row of each car for a MUCH more enjoyable ride. I can see why some may not enjoy the roughness, but, I personally loved this being a WOODEN coaster with some serious bite; some real moxy. The best part? It's tucked away in the back of the park and doesn't build up crowds until midday. We visted SDC on an unxepectedly busy Thursday (Oklahoma fall break?) and it was a WALK ON nearly an hour after the park opened. We'd have parked there if we didn't want to cross of the other coasters!

It’s my home-park’s RMC — and the “OG” one at that — so it’s still shoulders above the majority of other rides in the park, but it’s age is showing on the tracks and the trains could use an update. Also, the line is an absolute pain to navigate if you want to pull a later-evening to close marathon.
