Surprisingly this is a solid Arrow looper in my opinion. I experienced your normal headbanging on most Arrow loopers but just keeping your head back makes the experience way less painful. It comes with your standard double loop in the beginning then throws in a double corkscrew which is where the pain is. The helix near the ground at the end was decently intense and pretty enjoyable. I would still ride this one again if I were in the St. Louis area and feel like it gets a horrible reputation compared to the other higher-rated Arrows. 3/5 stars Edit: I can't believe this is a Vekoma. Please ignore the Arrow looper comments but this feels so much like one.

This one is just your typical Mouse style coaster but with incredible theming. I have yet to give a Mouse coaster more than 2.5 stars because I'm not a big fan of laterals or the jerky feel of each type of 180-degree turn. The theming more than makes up for this one though. From the queue line showing Batman-style videos, maps of Gotham City, cameras putting clown masks on your face on the screen, etc. to the entire ride experience with graffiti, horn sounds, lights, and the final Batmobile car honk and headlight flash for that final scare, this one went above and beyond to make it an enjoyable experience. I just wish this one had more random drops than quick turns because those elements are the best part of the actual feeling you get from the ride. 2.5/5 stars

    Fun Fluidité Fiabilité

This is a very fun flying coaster. The first drop is pretty solid and I might even prefer it to Tatsu. It seems a bit more sharp and less flat than Tatsu but that could just be a feeling. The pretzel loop is a bit on the smaller scale compared to the more known flyers but it still packs quite a bit of intensity. After those two elements back-to-back it really becomes more of a visual experience rather than a forceful one. The remaining layout is quite tame but it still gives a cool visual of flying through the trees near the front of the park. I have to knock it down because of reliability. I've been to this park 5 or 6 years in a row and this one has been broken down at some point or another when we were in the area and ready to ride. This could be just bad luck but I doubt it based on my consistent experience. Still a very fun ride and well worth it if the line isn't crazy long (tends to happen early since it's the first coaster at the entrance). 4/5 stars

    Airtimes Intensité Hangtime Launch

This coaster is a huge guilty pleasure of mine so I may overrate this compared to the general enthusiast. I can't get over the amount of intense force you get on both reverse launches into the rear spike (especially the further back you sit). The amount of airtime/hangtime is something I can never find on any other coaster I've ridden so far. The front spike which occurs 3 times is decent and fun but I don't really feel anything other than a cool little hangtime moment. The main drawback is the initial launch is so slow compared to most intense launches I've felt (Maxx Force launch is way better). Overall a very fun coaster and I'm glad they kept this Intamin Impulse Coaster since they are quickly phasing these out at other parks. 4.5/5 stars

I thought this ride was just okay but not worth the hour-long wait on President's Day. I've never ridden a suspended train before so it was fun to swing back and forth as you take quick turns. The location of the ride against the hillside was very nice and it had great pacing too except for the final lift hill into the station. The capacity was absolutely awful for this one. They only used one train but the park was packed that day so this led to the hour-long delay in getting onto the ride. A solid family ride I would probably ride again but only if it had a 5-minute wait or less. 3/5 stars

Outside of the kiddie coasters at this park, this was the only other coaster I have never ridden, and had no idea what to expect. I was actually more impressed with this one than I anticipated. I usually get sick from too many inversions but this coaster was quite smooth. I understand every ride will be vastly different as my significant other rode it last year with 1 total flip. I'm pretty sure we hit at least 3 but possibly 4. The flips were a lot of fun and disorienting which led to me not knowing what to expect. For example, I thought I already experienced the first big drop since I had an intense flip beforehand but then the actual drop came out of nowhere and surprised me. I just wish this one had a bit higher capacity but the line that day was not bad at all. 4/5 stars

I've ridden a handful of Batman clones and even if this was the original one built, it is the best one so far in my opinion. To this day it still runs so well with hardly any rattle. My review ride was the very front and I think it's worth the wait. You get the most intense whippy elements since the coaster is at its fastest in the front. The drop might be a lot slower than if you were to ride in the back but it's a sacrifice worth making for the intensity of the inversions. Compared to most B&M inverts that aren't this clone, it throws so many inversions and elements to you at a rapid pace. I love the loops, the corkscrews, the batwing element, etc. The theming is a nice touch in the queue line regarding Batman lore. All of this makes for a fantastic ride that doesn't look to be closing any time soon. 4/5 stars

Another fun kids' coaster to pair with Sprocket Rockets. This one is rich with history since it opened all the way back in 1929 at Kiddieland. Again, you won't find intensity but it's a perfect coaster to introduce new riders to since it has a nice drop and decent laterals. 1/5 stars

Fun little junior coaster. Great fit for the park in the kids' section. Not intense at all but also a lot taller and faster than some of the kiddie coasters I've seen in the Cedar Fair parks. I was impressed with the smoothness of this one being from the 90s. 1/5 stars

First Drop Intensité Ejectors Trop court

I believe this one is the best coaster in the park. I've ridden it at least 5 times and will always come off shaking because of how intense it is. The lift hill alone gets my nerves going because it's so steep. Outside of Hangtime at Knott's Berry Farm, the lift hill generates the most nerves for me personally. The first drop is absolutely incredible. I've sat in plenty of different rows but the back row is where it's at for the drop (pretty much for all RMCs as well). The first looping right turn is a bit boring but completely understandable given the small area to work with. Once you hit the hills you'll get absolutely fantastic ejector airtime. The zero-g stall is also incredible and probably my second favorite part of the ride outside of the first drop. It would be a bit better if the stall was slower but I still got some great hangtime. As most people said, it's one of the shorter RMCs and could use a little bit of length but also has incredible elements that make this a fantastic ride. 4.5/5 stars

I have completely changed my mind regarding this coaster. Originally I thought it was the perfect candidate for the RMC treatment like Twisted Colossus and although that would be an awesome change, I really enjoy the current format it is in. Sure it probably needs a re-track and especially some structural work done. They need to get to the point where they can run two trains at the same time because it's a letdown to only run the Red side. The first drop is fantastic and I bet it was groundbreaking during the 1981 release. I sat in the back and got a ton of ejector airtime. The weak dead spot would be the massive helix for me. Some people love laterals but I'm just never a fan. For it to turn for that long it became a bit boring. Once it finally leaves the helix you get some great pops of airtime. The ride is super long and I'm glad you get a lot of runtime. The other downside is a bit of discomfort for the car. I rode with a larger significant other and we felt a bit cramped in the seats compared to pretty much all other coasters in the park outside of the kiddie coasters. 4/5 stars

    First Drop Fun Layout Vibrations

A very solid wing coaster and a great addition to the park. I've only ever ridden on the left side but I think the first drop is a bit underrated. The reason I pick left is because that first drop starts so slow but flips you up compared to the right side flipping you down and the first drop feels way more intense than you would think for a 120 ft. tall coaster. The rest of the ride is still really fun and I love the layout of this one. It's not as intense as a Batman ride but even small elements like the slow barrel roll near misses through tunnels and keyholes make me nervous every single time. The downside is there can be a bit of a rattle. I've ridden it plenty of times without noticing but my "review" ride definitely had some shaking and rattling, unfortunately. It did not make the ride horrible but I would have liked it to be a bit more smooth compared to rides past. 4/5 stars

First Drop Débit Bonne suprise !

This is a fantastic B&M Hyper. I was finally able to get a real ride in the back row and it made all the difference to earn it an extra half-star. I feel all B&M Hypers should have incorporated the pre-drop bounce to get momentum for the real deal. It truly does whip you over the hill for one of the better drops I've experienced on a coaster. Don't sleep on a front-row ride though. I know most B&M Hypers have more airtime hills for sustained floater but even with random trims, I got a lot of floater in the front. Plenty of great drops in the back row throughout the ride though. The helix near the end is also pretty intense. It doesn't keep the speed the entire way through which is a negative but I feel the positives outweigh the negatives. I've never had Raging Bull in my top 3 for the park but this one can comfortably slide in at #2 behind Goliath based on a back-row ride alone. 4.5/5 stars

I feel like the theming on this one is fantastic. They introduced their own song when it first opened and continue to play it in the queue line today. It also contains great rock structures and lighting through tunnels showing they put a lot of effort into making it an overall great experience. The first half is way better than the second half. After the lift hill, you turn into an actually decent drop with airtime in the back. You are then hit with a couple of loops that aren't exactly back to back but still give you great sensation. After you crest the hill you get to the part where it's essential to keep your head back. Even if you're very careful I still felt a lot of headbanging with the double corkscrew. I don't believe Arrow ever got the corkscrew correct without discomfort but later models don't hurt as much as this one. The location right in the middle of the park is fantastic too and gives you plenty of options for the next ride. 3/5 stars

Fantastic wooden coaster and a great in-house built addition to the park. The initial lift hill starts very slow and even slows down more at the top of the hill creating suspense before the first drop. The first drop is decent but you get way more airtime on subsequent drops. It's still nice and bends a bit to the left creating both an airtime moment and lateral moment. I was also very impressed with the duration and it made this ride feel like you get plenty of forces until the finish. It does tend to have a bit slower turnarounds and less intense laterals since it can't seem to maintain speed like some more elite wooden rides I've ridden. Those smooth airtime hills get the pace going again and I"m glad the best forces aren't at the beginning but keep you constantly guessing when you'll have another decent drop. 4/5 stars

    Layout Longueur Inconfort

This one is a pretty solid ride with lots of history behind it. Being an ACE landmark and a local crowd favorite has kept this one going in a park that constantly wants to change coaster lineups. I love the spiral lift hill and it might be my favorite part of the ride. I wish more coasters had this type because you slowly get 360-degree views of the park around you. The drops on this one are super shallow but very long and generate some speed. I think another awesome aspect is just how low to the ground the track winds around once you reach the end of the drop. My main concern is the discomfort I feel while riding it. Sure we tried to fit two adults into the seat which probably resulted in my "hip-banging" and "knee-banging" so it's possible it might be more comfortable solo. Out of the 15 coasters I rode that day this one hurt the most unfortunately but again be sure to ride this by yourself and let your friends or significant others have their own separate cars. I'm in the crowd of keeping this coaster around because it's a perfect bridge between kiddie coaster and full thrill so kids can reach that next step as they work their way up the thrill chart. 2.5/5 stars

Launch Fun Intensité Trop court Temps mort

I feel like 2 out of the 4 elements are some of the best in the entire industry but the other 2 drag this one down. The launch is my favorite of all time. It's insanely intense and hits me so abruptly it's hard to wrap my head around what just happened. Then you hit the dog tongue inversions and it really hits a dead spot. I would have much preferred some type of massive loop like Full Throttle to give intense hangtime. After the inversions (which were clearly put that high up just to break records to advertise the coaster) I got hit by one of the most intense heartline rolls I've ever felt. You at least build enough speed from the tall inversions to make this a fantastic moment. Then again I hit another inversion element to wrap up the ride that just doesn't really do anything for me. I can't really describe it but it felt like a cheesy way to get you back into the station. This one could have been an all-timer but got affected by builders looking to chase records. I would still highly recommend checking this one out for the launch and heartline roll alone. 4.5/5 stars

What a fun little S&S coaster. The lift hill is super quick and results in a fantastic 90-degree drop. I also enjoyed the outer bank turns throughout the ride making you feel like you'll fly off the course. The best parts are definitely the upside-down hangtime you get (especially that last roll). You really feel like you'll fall out of the ride by how slow the coaster takes these hangtime moments. The ride feels like it speeds up at just the right times and slows down for maximum hangtime. 4/5 stars

I was pleasantly surprised with this one. Normally Arrow loopers are very rough for me and can sometimes be headbanging and unpleasant. This one was actually one of the smoothest Arrow coasters I've ever been on so it looks like they took good care of it. The double loop was pretty intense and the double corkscrew was also a lot of fun and not painful at all. That's not to say a coaster this old and made by Arrow isn't at least somewhat rough but I'll gladly take a little roughness if the overall experience pays off. I'd say the only limitation is the height is much smaller than others I've been on. Viper at Magic Mountain is almost double its height which led to more intensity but I gotta give the overall edge to Canyon Blaster. Well done by this park to take of it for almost 30 years. 3.5/5 stars

First Togo I've ever ridden and it was very fun. The first drop was pretty nice but the follow-up drop felt like the real deal and had nice negative g-forces. I'm also super impressed with the location around this one. It's incredible to get a rollercoaster ride with a nice view of other Vegas locations. The ride is also super long compared to other coasters I'm used to so that was another positive. It was still pretty rough though. Especially the twist into the dive loop since the angle is way too sharp. I wish this coaster had more room to smooth out the elements. It was still a very fun ride though but a bit steep to pay $25 for one ride. 3.5/5 stars

    First Drop Chef d'oeuvre Layout

What a phenomenal ride! From the ginormous lift hill generating pre-drop nerves to the actual mammoth first drop to the treble clef element to the various airtime hill moments, this ride is a masterpiece from start to finish. As much as I love 90-degree drops on some of these RMCs, nothing beats a Giga drop in terms of maximizing your thrill. The lift hill is quick-paced but still feels like it takes forever as it takes you up 325 feet. Then the drop itself feels like it lasts forever while you generate an insane amount of speed. I record each ride POV from glasses and this drop actually made me grunt a little in intensity haha. The treble clef also met the huge hype expectations for this element. You really seem to whip up that quick-turn hill only to instantly take a fairly decent drop with airtime. Finish this off with a few more airtime hills that still kept the intensity throughout the ride. My first ride in row 3 was fantastic but I think the 2nd to last row ride really maximized the score on this one. I love it and I can't wait to get to Carowinds again to get more rides. 5/5 stars

Airtimes Lap Bar Confort Temps mort

I had a couple of very solid rides in the mid-back and third row. The first drop was pretty decent in the mid-back but definitely doesn't compare to Fury 325. I had a much better ride in the third row because it sacrificed that first drop intensity but really gave awesome airtime every time we reached the top of each hill. I think I would have maximized my ride by riding in the very front row but I've heard the very back row is a great ride as well. The lap bar was comfortable and still gave enough room to feel airtime. The day I rode this was super windy in that coaster's area so we didn't experience much trim but we also didn't get as much speed throughout the entire run as I would imagine it could reach. It barely made the score it made for me and almost lost another 0.5 stars but it's still a B&M hyper and those always seem to give consistently good rides. 4.5/5 stars

Airtimes First Drop Lap Bar Inconfort

It's a solid wooden roller coaster but does show its age a bit. Our first ride was in the very back row and I felt like the first drop was actually fantastic. The lap bar feels so loose so this was a very rare moment in my riding history but I physically felt my bottom lift out of the seat during that drop and slightly slam down at the bottom. I could actually see someone getting hurt by how much movement you can feel during airtimes but I'm all for the free feeling. The hills throughout the rest of the course gave small pops of airtime but I feel wooden roller coasters need more height beyond a first drop so you can experience more drops to get a better score. The laterals were a bit rough for me like any aging wooden coaster. My second ride was way rougher in the second to last row (maybe a wheel seat). I gave this score based on the best ride of the day so the first one was very decent. 3/5 stars

This is an above-average mouse-type coaster. The restraints were very comfortable compared to other mouse rides I've been on. It also has a very fun course and the height at the top of the lift gave a great view as you take quick, sharp turns. I also enjoyed the drop on this one since it was put in the middle of the run. I'm still not a huge fan of these types of rides but this one was definitely more enjoyable and the mouse courses have grown on me recently. 2.5/5 stars

This is just your typical Arrow mine train ride. I really enjoyed how loose the lap bar is since the intensity of this one isn't too high. The theming on this ride including the station was fairly decent but didn't really reach the levels of some other parks that truly get you immersed in a Western theme. There are two lifts throughout the ride and also includes a very boring intro where you snake to the first lift so I didn't really care for the layout. I'm putting this one as a low-end mine train compared to others I've ridden but I would also be happy to bring a future kid on this one as an introduction to roller coasters. 1.5/5 stars

    Airtimes Théma Hangtime Layout

This one is just so much fun to ride. The opening jojo roll is so cool to start any coaster with and kicks you off with some great hangtime. The launches aren't forceful but just fast enough to provide a thrill. I was really impressed with the pacing of this one as well. It felt like when you did inversions or loops the train would slow down just enough to give you long amounts of hangtime but then sped up fast enough during the hills to give short bursts of airtime. The theming on this ride is also a nice touch with a cute Western intro clip before the first launch. I will say the overall layout probably works for a majority of riders but it ended up being too whippy for me. On my first ride, I felt a little dizziness but with the fast pass, I got an instant second ride. The second ride knocked me out for 30 minutes with the dizziness just not going away. Anyone with a low tolerance for dizziness might be put off by this ride but I just regret not getting more rides if my body could take it that day. 4.5/5 stars

This is my favorite inverted roller coaster to date. You can definitely tell the difference in speed between this one and rides like the Batman clones and Silver Bullet. The added height to the first drop plus how sharp the track drops down gives it that speedy edge over most inverts I've ridden. The loops are also taken much faster than your generic invert. The batwing element was so much fun and feels like nothing I've experienced on any other ride. The large dips going underground also allowed this one to keep a crazy amount of speed. This one should be talked about much more because it vastly exceeded my expectations. 4.5/5 stars

This is a decent family coaster and would be a great introduction to inverted roller coasters for new riders. The headbanging on this one is very real and very rough so you'll have to inform new riders of its roughness. This one is very hard to rate because I had two completely different rides that day. We were told to go straight to Nighthawk when the park opens because the lines can be brutal. It was still a bit chilly and cloudy that morning and we got a back-row ride. This was the ride that made it get a high score. I can't tell if it was because it was running slower in the morning or the back row made the difference but it was super smooth and the reverse loop got super intense at the end of the complete revolution. Then we rode it mid-afternoon when it was hot and got a third-row seat. This was the ride that was way worse than the morning. It was way more discomforting this time around with some headbanging and it felt like the restraints on this row were too loose and made us feel nervous. I still had great rides both times but I can easily see how this coaster can be so polarizing. I have to give it props for more effort in the layout compared to the boring twists that most flying coasters have throughout their entire run. It really put an effort to make this unpredictable and you never knew what forces to expect. 4/5 stars
