The only Chance rcoaster I’ve ridden and it didn’t disappoint. We need more of these! 9 air time moments, 10 if you count the first drop in the back at least. Fantastic ride nothing to dislike other than it being a bit short in duration. I go back and forth trying to decide if this is a better coaster vs Storm Chaser. Either way they are a great 1-2 punch followed by Kentucky Flyer and Thunder Run as fun wooden coasters. Great line up for a smaller park.

I have yet to ride a bad RMC but this one is shorter, smaller and a bit less intense than others. Definitely a notch below the last two I’ve ridden (WCR and SV). That being said love the twisting first drop acts as a bit of a stall especially in the front which was really fun! Has some fantastic airtime moments. Lost some pace near the end but I rode right after a rainstorm and the trains weren’t completely filled. Very re rideable which is always a plus if you like to marathon coasters.

It’s so long, unique with amazing terrain you have to love it. It was hauling the last time I rode it. I found it pretty intense especially after the second lift hill. With all the length it would be nice to have more airtime, could be smoother and the first lift hill is slow as molasses. I’m getting old so don’t think I can handle marathoning it but a ride in the afternoon and one in the dark to end your night would be the chefs kiss to a day at Kings Island. 👑

So after riding this I truly don’t get the flack this ride gets. Classifying as a hyper vs a giga over one foot also seems like nitpicking. I need to ride fury and “project” 305 again but I think I like it better than my home parks Leviathan. Felt it had this really unique type of airtime at the end with twist pop and side airtime, sorta like some
RMC elements, that was an amazing surprise. Unexpectedly, I think this is my favourite ride in the park. Followed my mystic timbers or diamondback and then the beast.

Ok it’s a good ride, smooth comfortable and really re rideable. First drop isn’t huge but with the aggressive twist it feels pretty intense. Maybe I was spoiled by gravity groups Ravine Flyer 2 the day before, but found the airtime kind of lacking on this one and rode it front and back on a hot day, later in the day. With all the hype I was a bit disappointed. Better airtime moments and it would be a 5

It’s really smooth for an old PTC. If you’re an an enthusiast looking for airtime and intensity you’ll be disappointed. If you’re introducing a little one to roller coasters it’s a perfect starter and respect it for what it is.

When it’s a kiddie/family coaster and you’re constantly banging your head or have to lean super forward to avoid doing so it’s only worth riding once in your life for the credit. One and done and move on.

Really fun ride but uncomfortable harness/lap bar impact the enjoyment. Great airtime, ejectors pace and layout though. Look forward to RMC perfecting this style of coaster and sounds like they’ve made a lot of improvements already with other iterations.

Six Flags Great Adventures: Take note. This is how you keep you keep your coasters comfortable and relevant. Replace the trains when they become hot garbage. To be fair I’m sure these trains cost a lot less then replacing trains on kingda ka or el toro but doing so might return the rides to their former glory. SDL isn’t super special but a nice smooth coaster for when kids are starting to advance their coaster intensity that parents will still find pleasant

Unfortunately only had time to ride it once this visit. I found it a bit underwhelming the first time I rode it, about 10 years ago, but back then I didn’t realize how cool the layout was. The layout earns the rating. I think what held it back most this visit was, including my crew, only 5 people were on the train and 3 were kids all in the front. I feel like a fuller train makes the a better ride. Maybe it’s also better in the back? Hopefully next time I ride it, it’s a bit zippier. The lack of airtime is its achilles heel.

I get they were trying to tell a story and A for effort with the theming but a little bizarre and creepy for a family ride. SPOILER: The spinning tunnel is a nice surprise that felt a little trippy and made it feel like the train was rotating.

Can’t think of a more polarizing coaster. The layout, intensity and pace is amazing, to me at least. But the stars kind have to align for the best ride and even at its most comfortable, it’s still rough. I find the blue train is zippier and smoother, but I think the section you chose can make a difference. I think I like second row from the back. It’s part of it charm maybe but you smooth this thing out and ooooh baby. Im torn if a full on RMC would make sense just something smoother but can’t see it getting that can of love.

I gotta respect a good dive coaster. The pause, drop and dive underground alone earn it 4.5. Lots of g’s if you’re into them not intolerable if you’re not. It’s smooth its loop is impressive, I’m personally not the biggest fan of loops, but I respect its intensity. Gotta knock off half a point for the last section after the second pause. Pretty underwhelming from that point which makes it feel short.

Not sure it’s home park bias but one of my favourite hypers. Great if you like hills and floater air. I especially appreciate the two at the end after the helix. Just when you think it’s over back in the air you go. Showing its age a bit and the trim break on the first hill going back to the station is a bit of a momentum killer though.
