Thanks to recent work by TGG, the Beast is rocking better than ever, with the smoother track allowing the trains to just haul through the woods and tunnels, running about as fast as it can without tearing the itself up. The trims are there, but really, this thing starts with a big drop and spends most of the first half continuing downhill. Without them, the last few turns just wouldn't work without damage. I encourage every coaster fan to give the Beast a whirl in the last car, either 17 if you want a more cushy center-row ride or 18 for the full force effect, and especially at night, just an otherworldly experience out in the dark woods. Building up speed on the 141' second drop and slamming into the helix tunnel is one of the best and most intense moments of any coaster, ending the ride with a big bang instead of the whimper so many other rides finish with.

One step above a kiddie coaster. If you're looking for a slow, meandering and forceless ride above the lake in between Cedar Point's bigger coasters, this is just the ticket

    Schoßbügel Zu kurz

Serviceable woodie in a park without any others, but basic out and back layout, small size and slowness deliver nothing super interesting. Has some roughness but doesn't really go fast enough to be uncomfortable. The ends of the train provide a bit of air and it does give that satisfying wooden coaster feel.

See Gemini Blue. Never noticed enough difference between the two to form any opinions.

Nice, smooth classic Arrow custom coaster. Fun and capacity pros contingent on them running both sides, otherwise it loses some of its charm. Great air in the back on the drops. The turnaround curves are slow, but having a train next to you makes them a fun time.

First Drop Kapazität Enttäuschend! Dead spots

I actually didn't mind this much as Mantis, just have to make sure the seat was low so you were actually standing; you'd get a nice interesting ride. As a floorless, it's much less interesting, exacerbating the already dull second half. For as big and twisted as this thing looks, it's pretty meh.

    First Drop Hangtime Dead spots

Great first drop with the hang, but nothing too memorable afterward. I'm not a huge fan of dive coasters, but this one does it well.

Love the first drop and trip out to the lake, but man the turnaround is janky. Not really painful but jerks you around the curves as only Arrow can do. Airtime totally depends on how much you enjoy/tolerate/hate the trip back. I don't mind it but again, janky. Iconic coaster that's definitely worth at least one ride.

Very good ,tight ride, especially when the midcourse is disabled, otherwise the second half can meander a bit. Nice contrast to Banshee downstate - Raptor throws the elements at you a bit faster, while Banshee is more drawn out, big and graceful. Can chew through lines with good ops.

Nice enough ride and I enjoyed the keyhole elements, but wing coasters just don't do a whole lot for me in general, just not a lot of forces or intensity. Gatekeeper delivers a good smooth ride with great views of the entrance and lake, and is a treat to look at upon arrival to the park.
