Somewhat predictable, mid-sized B&M hyper. Fills a hole in the parks lineup and serves as an excellent entrance set piece. Always fun to ride and infinitely re-ridable. Not going to set the rankings on fire. Operations are consistently awful, 3-train stacking every single time.

Could not get enough of this. I can see why some might find an RMC too much, but for me this was perfection. Moar please!

Uncompromising old school B&M invert. An absolute powerhouse, the opening run of inversions exceeds the intensity of Hulks opening. The cobra roll and mid course brakes are a bit of a challenge to ride, rigidly holding yourself in place and bracing for the turns is a good idea. but otherwise excellent. They don't build them like this anymore...

Another excellent Intamin. Having done Velocicoaster, Kondaa, Batman Gotham City Escape and Toutatis beforehand the hype surrounding Pantheon was a problem. I didn't have that high expectations, and it is a great coaster. The minimal theming and terrain efforts compared to any of the above mean it's probably ahead of Kondaa but behind the others. The margins are fine!

Wasn't a fan, sorry. Outside seats bounce up and down like pogo sticks, which gave me a headache. Layout is slow, and the launch is just there to get the ride going. Not very forceful. The immelman-like inversion is OK but the remainder is slow. Back rows are a bit better but ultimately still underwhelming. Dominator just round the corner does vastly more. The ride looks great and is probably the best themed Cedar Fair coaster to date.

Glad to have picked up the original B&M before it goes to the scrapyard along with the closure of SFA. The opening drop and loop are fine. Quite a lot laterals in the latter half of the ride, which result in bashing off the restraints. B&M did, and still do make mistakes... Despite the flaws I would still take this over the brand new Rapterra.

Airtime hills are OK. Obnoxiously placed seatbelt buckle right where your weight lands on the lap bar is a problem and reason for the low star score. The park is closing imminently and already winding down rides it seems so if you want the credits, go.

An excellent post Senator Markey US G-limiting B&M, one that actually had a punch to it on day one. This one got an awful lot of re-riding. Re rode in 2025 and my opinion stands. This is Dorneys best coaster, by far. Forceful, little hints of airtime (on an invert!), and now the trees have grown around it looks great. Underrated coaster.

Ride feels like a bad copy of the much superior Baron 1898 at Efteling, layout and theming. First drop out in open air without the tunnel is not as effective as it could be. And then there's the tracking problems, ugh, B&M, what are you doing? Every time the train attempts to roll left or right there is almost an an arrow-like jank to how they attempt to negotiate the bends. *Something* not right. Light attempts at theming but not remotely in the league of Rapterra or even Copperhead Strike let alone Euro parks. Worth riding if you are there, not really worth the visit for this alone.

Marmite coaster, it seems. We really liked it. Lots of speed, slightly janky first drop, potent make-you-hold-on airtime. Still, very good and different feeling to any other hyper. The revised seating provides a little extra side support which I think helps, the lap bars still do their worst to dig into your legs unfortunately.

Another top tier RMC. I have it as my favourite over Hakugei, SteVe, Twisted Colossus, Twisted Timbers and Iron Gwazi. Why? This ride has the power but not the painful bunny hops of SteVe & Twisted Timbers. Prefer the layout to Gwazi too. The margins are very fine. Only downer are the slow operations at Hershey - though the clientele trying to carry stuff on ride rather than locking it up for free are part of cause of that.

Unfortunately I judge Hyperia from a standpoint of riding the excellent coasters readily accessible in North West Europe. What there is is good, but it's very short and the spec sheet mostly exists for marketing purposes. I haven't experienced the rattle myself but others in our group have complained of brain rattling; some seats and wheels clearly worse than others. Incomplete, negligible theming. Could have been excellent. As is, just another short changed Thorpe Park coaster

The ironically named Storm Runner, like most rides at Hershey, will not run in the rain. I was lucky enough to get a break in the bad weather to get a couple of goes on this machine in the limited time we had to visit. The difference over the other accelerator coasters of course is that this one actually does something with the power rather than fritter it away on the brakes, a massive plus. I hate those Intamin overheads, though I don't remember them being as much of a nuisance as they are on say, Furius Baco or Kingda Ka.

Not a lot to say about Stelf. Power, power and more power = fun, but not world class. The trains are poor, and don't do a lot with the energy. If you can catch it close to park close you can often get a series of repeat rides in quick succession, which resolves the too-short problem! Oh yes, and it's a lot better than Kingda Ka :-P

Clone of Indy in Paris. Serves only as a capacity sink in a park very desperate for a LOT more capacity. Old as the hills ZL42 layout. Doesn't fit the Disney market and doesn't serve the thrill one either.

What an amazing surprise of a coaster. The visuals, speak for themselves, facing Mount Fuji up that slow lift hill. Janky, and makes some noises that rides shouldn't make... Also, a total powerhouse of a ride. Long and powerful airtime hills that give B&M hypers (and even gigas) competition. Drops to ground level into forceful, highly banked turns. Layout is a real mix of features long, and never repetitive. And a brutal serving of laterals for the ending. NO trims! Very deserving of high ratings and well worth the trip to ride something very different.

After 2 and a half weeks of coasters on the ECC 2006 tour, it's easy to get complacent about getting onto (yet another) ride! This version of Goliath as I remember it was a lot of fun, but equally lacks a stand out feature to take it from merely being "good" to "excellent".

I hate to borrow the phrase, but "but it looks so pretty" from a popular series of youtube videos is unfortunately the only good thing anyone will ever find to say about Gouderix. Despite it's crappiness, Gouderix is a must-do-once for all coaster fans for precisely that reason. Vekoma have learned from their errors of 25 years ago, and now make some of the best rides. "Most improved manufacturer"!

Another instance of Universal pushing style over substance too far, I don't really class this as a rollercoaster. It isn't an unpleasant ride, but utterly forgettable. Considering the "similar", but superb Mummy is just round the corner from it I was expecting more from this. Our first ride on this was in the front row, which I found involved much neck-craning to watch the film on the run into the first drop. I am sure that it is only a matter of time that someone will suffer problems from the drop-and-turn into the dark while trying to watch the effects. A later repeat ride in the back row was better for being able to see the effects. The restraints are somewhat condensed, combined lap-and-ankle bar affairs that cause difficulties for access for decidedly average sized people too. My favourite aspect of the whole ride was walking into the lobby of the bank, in the queue line. For a major ride by an operator with basically unlimited budget, a real miss in my book.
