I only got one ride on this, but God was it amazing. An absolute technical marvel in engineering from those over at the Gravity Group. Most definitely my favorite wooden rollercoaster. Can be bumpy in some moments but thats a very minor complaint.

Airtimes Layout Duration
What is there to say that hasn't been said. My vote for the greatest wooden coaster on the planet. This is the only coaster I can think of that I struggle to keep my arms up the whole way given the sheer length of the ride. Holiday World keeps this monster running smooth, an incredible job given how much track there is to maintain. Good mix of sustained floater air and sharp ejector air, despite being an airtime-centric ride it never feels like a one-trick pony. If you haven't gone to Holiday World yet, GET THERE. The rest of the lineup is also killer, but this is the star.

this is the best wooden coaster by far. The intensity is amazing with the drop and the hills, but the last part is the best because of the speed. the night ride is 10X better than day

Airtimes Intensity Ejectors
Voyage is intense from start to finish. The first drop is amazing for what it is, It’s the steepest drop on a wooden coaster at 66° and airtime is amazing in the back row, now in the front row it’s like you are manning a runaway locomotive giving massive positive g’s. Voyage is aggressive and it's one wild ride, where this ride shines most is with it's pacing it's like your Speeding through bank turns and airtime hills it seems like the ride never ends. Then a 107ft camelback gives great floater and the second hill that stands 100ft has a twist at the top so you get floater and laterals. The third hill drops into one of the 7 tunnels you’ll counter during your 2:45 minute ride of madness. Now the spaghetti bowl was pure chaos the train felt completely out of control multiple 90° turns followed by another tunnel, then bank to the left bank to the right into a bunny hill with just pure speed and reckless abandonment you’ll get violently ejector airtime followed by elite negative G-forces ejector airtime throughout the whole ride. The speed and that layout makes the ride even more Forceful on the return run it’s like an out and back on steroids, Voyage somehow makes the last third of its layout the wildest part of the ride! The speed the extremeness of the forces are insane wow what a wild ride this is, it will leave you out of breath it’s my favorite wood coaster of all time now we must go through all that again in complete darkness. Night rides are so great and it won’t matter where you sit because every row will be madness at night when you can’t see anything and your hauling ass being thrown around for 6,442.0 ft of track in complete darkness. So you can’t see any of the transitions or changes of the direction you're at the mercy of this runaway train, taking that triple down at night in pitch-black darkness through that loud tunnel on your way back to the station its all incredible and kind of scary at night. can’t wait to get back. 10/10

This ride feels like it will never end, both the airtime and the ride itself. If I could give any con whatsoever, a couple of the valleys definitely have some mild jackhammering. But it’s nothing that ruins the ride, and HW probably have retracked some of it by now.

This ride deserves the name Voyage. You feel that you are going on one by the halfway point of the ride. The airtime, the setting, it’s all amazing. Imo the trims don’t even matter much, once it’s warmed up it’s gonna be elite regardless.

Airtimes First Drop Pace
This thing never stops, the first drop is great and leads into great airtime (there are even more later) I also love the lateral/sideways turns that keep the coaster just going. Even when you completely stop at the breaks you still fly through the rest. The rattle is very tolerable and doesn't seem to take away from any of the coaster.

Intensity Layout Duration Headbanging
Truly a work of art. Maybe the single best layout I've ever experienced; the first drop is breathtaking and I will never forget the feeling dropping into the second half tunnels. It's fast, aggressive, and absolutely relentless. There isn't a single dead spot in the experience. My only complaint is that it could really use a little smoothing out. There's a line between wooden coaster charm and pregaming with two Motrin, and while it's absolutely worth the headache Voyage is riding that line.

I may be partial considering Holiday World is my go-to theme park, but the Voyage is one of the best, if not the best coaster i’ve ever ridden. Especially considering it’s only a wooden coaster, while it is quite rough, it’s definitely a thrilling experience that you will never forget.

Airtimes Ejectors Duration
People need to understand theres differeent types of airtime! This ride has sustain floater elongated airtime. Theres no dead spots they reworked the parts that people complained about. This ride gets worked on than any other ride I ever been on. Also Lets be real you cant compare this to El toro tbh the ride was built way after voyage. You cant argue a ride that existed so long still can compete with the big dogs. El toro 1st half is better voyage 2nd half is way much better. The only people argue about voyage is the hills. Its really stupid to compare giving the time this was built. Also depending on what time you ride voyage you will get a better experience on those hills and trying different seats! El toro layout is basically a rip off copy of the Voyage which is why I pick Voyage. I give you example thats like me taking Chang from Kentucky kingdom and Cedar Point like I can do it bigger just with a few twist its so lame. Also Voyage had stiffer competition before all these wood rides got rmc. If this ride is rough then it must be the weakest. Its not rough unless its not the 1st wood ride you rode at holiday world which is likely the issue because Voyage sits very far at the tail end of the park so please dnt complain! Also, It's just long so your body starts feeling pain because the amount of turns and length this goes just like all the other long rides they have a Holiday World. Plus Voyage it is the weakest rough woodie ride I ever been on. Rough belongs to Thunder Run at Kentucky kingdom that is Roughhhh and its amazing how many times they have to rework that small ride because it dnt take long for that ride to get Rough after a rework and it seems way too fast! Voyage is my number 1 woodie and is in my Top 15 coasters. It defeats most hyper coasters and some mega coasters in between giga and some of the higher heights on a hyper coaster. Voyage 67mph Compared to El toros speed still feels way faster and it feels like this ride could sustain its speed for a couple more thousand feet of track. Also the end feels just as fast when you break on a giga, People dnt talk about the bottom of the hills on Voyage It feel like you get all the action at the bottom of your butt then at the top of the hill your being catapulted out for a while. Meanwhile El toro doesn't always get the proper maintenance that it deserves! People was still sayin El toro was #1 when it was getting no rework & it was rough. Its like saying Lightning Rod is still my number 1 but it aint been the same.

Location Harness Disappointing! Airtimes Dead spots
Don't get me wrong here. It's an ok coaster but it gets massively overhyped. The airtime it does have is very weak and leaves you wanting. The turnaround section in the woods is good but the way out to that and back is just rather tame and boring. Overall it's too long for what's on offer and I found myself waiting for it to end and not rushing to go back on. Definitely the weakest of the parks wooden coasters and does not deserve it's reputation.

Location Intensity Duration Airtimes
It had been at least 10 years since I rode it and there was rain earlier in the day, but as an airtime connoisseur I found it a bit disappointing in that category, especially compared to it’s lil sibling Ravine Flyer 2, which I rode earlier in the week. It’s still a masterpiece, great first drop, insane lats, improved as the day got hotter, still super intense and a lot of fun. Very re rideable considering the length and intensity. The re tracked areas also seemed nice and smooth. I think there are better wooden coasters like El Toro, Thunderhead and even Ravine Flyer 2 to me is more fun but Voyage is still likely cracking my top 5 wooden coasters.

Airtimes Location Duration
The perfect wooden coaster in my opinion. It has sustained airtime, incredible positives and laterals, and then small ejector pops after. It goes on forever and is an incredible night ride. Going back into the woods is a special feeling. They've done a great job keeping it smooth over the years. Incredible ride.

Intensity Duration
This ride has been on my bucket list for a very long time so I saved it and rode it as my 200th credit. Unfortunately I found it bit disappointing in terms of its roughness and overall design being sort of nothing special. It’s definitely a front row coaster since that helps cut down on the roughness and you get the great view and airtime.

Masterpiece Layout Duration
As of October 2023, the new track on this ride has broken in perfectly. It's now just as fast as it was last year, but with the incredible new first drop and camelback. My old review for this ride said that you need to go to HoliWood Nights to get the proper experience on this ride. I have since been proven wrong. This ride is better than any other coaster on any day at any time, and that gap simply increases without trims and/or at night. Nothing compares to what this ride does.

Location Fun Layout Disappointing! Airtimes Dead spots
This is a great ride. It's insanley long, flying through the woods with an incredible layout. However, I do consider this ride vastly overrated. While there are tons and tons of airtime moments, almost all of them are incredibly weak and some moments didn't even give any airtime. Regardless of some dead spots and the fact that this ride is overrated, it's still an incredible ride with some solid floater through an excellent terrain

Fantastic woodie! Ride was more intense in the back but also more rough. Front was the best for me due to being more smooth. I also had a bit more sustained airtime in the front. The sense of speed in the front also nice. Great ride but I can only enjoy it in the front row.
-
First Drop Location Duration
What an incredible ride. One of the best first drops on a wooden coaster. The whole ride feels so out of control while also having a great setting throughout the woods. Feels like it never ends too. Unforgettable experience.

Incredible Gravity Group wooden coaster, with a ton of airtime moments and a seemingly never-ending layout. Ride up front if you want a smooth ride with just as much of the other forces.

Airtimes Masterpiece Duration
Ridiculous ride. An endurance test to be sure, seeming like it will never end while it somehow never lets up, nor becomes repetitive. Airtime in all sorts of places. The phenomenal first hills offer great sustained floater, and then there are stronger pops throughout the rest of the ride. The mixing of the airtime with laterals is incredible. The turns sometimes bank too little, sometimes too much, keeping you off balance. Pretty smooth on the whole too, though it still feels like a traditional woodie, truly out of control. Reminds me of Fury in that there isn’t one mind-blowing moment, just lots of excellent elements that flow well, but this is longer and even better paced.
-
Airtimes Fun Duration Capacity
I love the voyage! It is my number 2, behind Velocicoaster. The only thing wrong with it was operations. Because it wasn’t a big demand, it was long waits for a short line. But, in defense, the ride was long so it was hard to do better

Nice surprise! Location Intensity Dead spots
A truly incredible ride. It's the most intense wooden coaster I've honestly ever been on. I'd highly recommend a night ride on this coaster, as it takes advantage of its location amazingly for a very dark experience, so you'll never know what will happen next. The only real con I could think of is the trims, but then those immediately lead to the triple down in the tunnel. And guess what? They even run this ride trimless at holiday nights. So when I finally get to go there, I'll get to experience this ride trimless. Now a fun fact. I went to holiday world on the day they did this event called Halloween in the sky, where they have drones in the sky that make things like pumpkins. Well, I got a ride on this WHILE this was going on! So I got to watch a drone show from voyage. Best day ever.

I love wooden coasters and this one is like el toro but it like twice as long and goes in the woods reminds me of a modern Beast all Holiday World needs to do is get new trains PTC trains are not meant to be on this ride.

Oh my god this ride is mad. I have never been on a more intense wooden coaster than this one. The forces are great all round and it's rushing through it's massive layout with near misses and tunnels. Especially an unexpected dip into a deep tunnel had me wild. Fantastic ride.

This is my all-time favorite ride, and until I rode Iron Gwazi, nothing else was even close. At night, trimless, there is still nothing like it. That being said, it runs better later in the day. The Voyage is a masterpiece, and I fear there will never be another one like it. This is the best rollercoaster in the world. I don’t care what anyone says. Every new credit I get, I think that maybe I’ll find something better. So far nothing is.

Airtimes Pace Masterpiece
Voyage is the greatest wooden coaster I've ever ridden. It's incredibly long and it makes full use of that by providing a relentless, airtime-laden masterpiece. I did not get to do it trimless, and frankly I'm scared to imagine how insane it must be, because even with the trim it absolutely hauls through its finale. The laterals are fantastic, and it's wild seeing the track flip sideways. This ride alone is enough reason to go to Holiday World.

Location Intensity Duration Harness Dead spots
While the voyage had a bad first impression on me it quickly grew on me as I had originally hitched the first ride of the day on it and it hadn't warmed up enough to really give the ride you want. Huge air moments at the start while the second half is a low to the ground wind back to the station. It has issues though while I did get air it was at least for me was hampered by the train. They had those armrests breaking up the seat and it really wedged you in so you or time can be limited if ya my size or more. Someone smaller then me will prob be flying out his seat on this ride. The other issue is the second brake block doesn't just slow you down it practically stops you. I can see why people now rave about trimless voyage rides

Intensity Duration Intensity
This thing was a workout. I know folks rave and have it in their top 5, but I don't know if I've ever been more let down by a coaster. My expectations were just way too high I think. I enjoyed it, I get why folks love it, and it's in my top 40 coasters for sure, but I couldn't help but feel it was a little underwhelming for me. I love that it's an unrelenting, insanely long ride, but for me, it was also sort of a negative. Maybe I'm getting old. Maybe I needed a night ride. Maybe getting The Beast at 1030pm the night before ruined it for me (what an experience!). We sat in the back row, then did row 4 on our 2 rides, so I felt like I gave it a fair shake. It's great, but didn't quite live up to the hype for me.

I don't have very many words for this ride. Went to HoliWood Nights & was blown away, even during the day. So many amazing ejector airtime moments packed into this extremely long ride, & it's fairly smooth actually. Overall a breathtaking ride that might just have to take my #1 spot.

Airtimes Masterpiece Duration
WOW! Voyage certainly lives up, and even exceeds, the hype surrounding it. An absolute enthusiast wet dream brought to life, Voyage really just has it all; it truly is just a titan of a woody, in every sense of the word. However if you're among the lucky to get those trimless nightrides that Holiwood Nights has to offer, you're in for a truly transcendental experience. That triple down without the trims... Sweet jesus.

Layout Duration Discomfort
The layout is awesome. It delivers a lot of good "wow" moments. I just wish it were smoother. There were several moments in the ride where I winced because of how much the coaster was shaking. I rode it three times in two hours, and after the third ride I had quite the headache.
-
Airtimes Pace Duration
Overall an elite woodie that lives up to the enormous amount of hype surrounding it. And I didn’t even get good riding conditions. Usually Voyage lovers rave about the trimless night rides with a full train. Well I got a trims on day ride with a half full train and it was still insane
-
Airtimes Intensity Duration
Bro, where do I even begin? This is easily the best roller coaster I’ve ever ridden. It’s instantly intense and has aggressive laterals and airtime and it just never ends. The drop is insane in the back row, the camelbacks are crazy in the back row, the back row is where it’s at. If you don’t like intense rides, DO NOT ride this lol.
-
Airtimes Fun Ejectors
This ride is mental. The airtime, laterals, and night rides make this my easy #1. Last week I even rode this 53 times in a single day. There is nothing that I will ride in the foreseeable future that will beat this.

Airtimes Layout Duration
It doesn't get much better then this. My favorite wooden coaster ever. The ride does everything I want in a wooden coaster. The wooded setting and terrain usage is amazing. The ride just goes on forever and ever. The first drop isn't the greatest I've experienced but it's solid. The first hills on the way out are phenomenal. In the front you get ejected while cresting, in the back you get thrown out of your seat on the way down. The spaghetti bowl is absolutely insane. It's constant whip, laterals, positives, and airtime all mixed together back to back to back. The second half is all downhill so you get great whip and laterals. I fall in love with this ride more and more every time I ride. Perfect coaster.
-
Airtimes First Drop Duration Disappointing!
The name of this coaster does not lie, it is truly a voyage. However, was a bit disappointed by the ride elements. The twister section in the back felt pointless. The only really good moments on the ride imo are the drop and the third dip on the famous triple down element. Also, I liked this coaster more in the front than the back.
-
Airtimes Intensity Duration Rattle Intensity
This is my favorite coaster of all time. Riding The Voyage at night, in the back row, with no trims on and thunder in the distance made this literal insanity. The first few hills are a nice warm-up, providing decent floater and even ejector on the small bunny hill. I couldn’t even see my hand in front of my face during the spaghetti bowl section, which gives some crazy laterals and a few pops of ejector diving into the mid-course. The third drop on the triple down caught me off guard on EVERY SINGLE ONE of my 9 rides, providing some absurd ejector airtime. The return run is the roughest part of Voyage, but it combines wild ejector airtime with ballistic pacing and side-of-your-seat-slamming laterals. The roughness does wear you down however, but it just adds to the intensity and out of control feeling of this coaster.
-
Location Pace Duration Rattle Dead spots Intensity
I was able to experience Voyage trimless at night at Holiwood Nights, and those rides were in a league of their own, the ride never ends, it holds its speed seemingly perfectly from start to finish, and although not the strongest in the airtime or lateral department, it makes up for it with the sheer amount of airtime and lateral moments, and just flying through the woods at breakneck speed for a minutes and a half, not being able to see anything and just getting dragged around like a rag doll is simply magical. However I do not like that this ride is rather lacking in the positives department and that it has a few dead spots, but it really doesn't take away from the insanity of this ride, some of my rides did have a bit of a rattle, but its tolerable and doesn't take away from the ride. As far as traditional wood coasters go, this destroys ever other one out there, and Voyage deserves all of the hype it gets because it is a ride that is just on such a massive scale and is so much different from anything else out there. It is an absolute endurance test.

I found that this very long, intense wooden coaster took at toll on me with its wooden feel after only one ride. Otherwise, it's amazing. Constant airtime throughout the ride, and overwhelmingly intense pacing.

Airtimes Intensity Duration Disappointing! Dead spots
I went into this coaster with really low expectations, and based off of my first ride, it met my expectations. However throughout the day Voyage warmed up immensely. By my 6pm dusk ride, it was flying. When it has warmed up Voyage is a constant barrage of intense, aggressive elements with many airtime moments scattered throughout the course. Even by the end of the day the first 2 massive airtime hills had ejector. I’d say highlights of this coaster include the banking double down in the twister section which provides two abrupt moments of ejector with powerful laterals. Also the twisted hills in the second half were exceptional, throwing you in every direction. Night rides on this ride are overwhelming, the turbulent layout is further enhanced as you are blind to all the oncoming elements, making it a truly unique night ride. I was also lucky enough to have it run trimless for one ride as the ride was down for a few minutes before due to a person having a nose bleed, making the second half even more brutal. I’d say this coaster would be in my top 3 if it were not for the tame morning rides I got on it.

First Drop Masterpiece Intensity
2006 sure was a excellent year for wooden coasters with Masterpieces like El Toro and of course The Voyage.
-
Airtimes Masterpiece Intensity
This is by a considerable amount my favorite wooden rollercoaster. Ok lets go over the layout. The drop and the first 3 three hills are nothing special but once you get past that the fun really begins. You go through some sharp 90 degree turns and the laterals you pull are really forceful. After the trims you go through an outstanding triple down and race through the woods with no pacing issues, offering you a generous helping of ejector and speed. As you get close to the end you fly over the start of the coaster and into the break run. This is easily one of my favorite night rides on any coaster(perhaps my favorite). Getting to experience this elite coaster is an absolute treat and is a must ride for any enthusiast.
-
An obscene ride when it first opened - brilliant setting, and the out-and-back elements are a lot of fun. Somewhat dislike the twister elements. Chaos might float some peoples boats but coming back battered and bruised just because the trains don't track properly isn't so much fun.
