Airtimes Masterpiece Smoothness
Masterpiece of a ride. That indoor helix is shockingly forceful! Then the airtime is good too.

Theming Fun Layout Capacity Dead spots
Layout and theming is cool! Couple dead spots and the line is always so long but it's a fun ride

Theming Smoothness
Famout last words of 7 year old me before going on this ride was "you guys never listen to me!" I was right, I died on this ride and they were very sad.

I love the story for this ride. The theming is impeccable, among Disney’s best, making it the second best coaster in the resort behind GOTG. The mountain is incredible. So realistic. And there are some decent forces, such as that crazy backwards helix. I do think there are some dead moments, but it’s still a greatly themed ride that I can very much enjoy.

Theming Pace Masterpiece
It's not the best Disney coaster like some people say it, but still a masterclass! Perfect theming, fast-pace, and a cool surprise!

Theming Intensity Duration
The Walt Disney World Resort is by far my favorite theme park destination and as if it wasn't really awesome enough with Rock 'n' Roller Coaster and Cosmic Rewind, Everest is truly a hidden gem. I first rode this coaster in 2016 when I was 12 years old and I was BLOWN AWAY! The theming is amazing and the ride as a whole is incredibly forceful. There's a reason my first ride on this coaster was the highlight of that trip for me. Yes, I enjoyed this coaster more than Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, which is also a great ride, but Everest is a MUST-DO when you visit Animal Kingdom. Only Cosmic Rewind outclasses Everest in my rankings, but this ride is still, without question, my second favorite at WDW. It's just awesome.

Theming Intensity Dead spots
This is for sure one of the best Disney coasters out there. The helixes are intense (especially the backwards one) and the theming is amazing. There were some dead spots but I still think this ride is amazing
-
Theming Fun Layout
This was my first ever coaster. My parents convinced me it was a train ride but I enjoyed this, At the time I hated it buut I wish I can go back now that im an enthusiast aand ride it again.

Theming Fun
One of the more fun coasters at WDW, it's well themed but compared to non-Disney roller coasters it's not quite intense enough.
-
Theming Lap Bar Layout Inversions
This ride is one of Disney’s best coasters, and the theming is the icing on the cake. The restraints are comfortable, there’s plenty of leg room for tall guys like me, and it has a reridability factor that sometimes Disney coasters lack. Going backwards after the lift hill was exciting, and you surprisingly experience some gs on the helix inside the mountain. The drop midway through is not on par with RMC or some of those bigger thrills, but it does pack a bigger pinch than you might expect. I rode this coaster 3 times during my day in Animal Kingdom, and it didn’t disappoint.

Theming Fun
This coaster is great theming wise and is a very unique ride. There’s moments in which Everest is like no other coaster I’ve been on. The yeti is really cool too.

First Drop Theming Duration Dead spots Intensity
This coaster has a fun drop and is themed perfectly, but like most family coasters--has the occasional dead spot.

First Drop Theming Nice surprise!
This could be my first big coaster, if you would consider it that,

Theming Layout
I usually don't care about theming of a ride, but the theming really works here. You really feel like you're on a mountain. While not the most thrilling coaster in the world, it's just a lot of fun. We rode it 21 times in one day because we hit the park on a slow day so we never waited longer than 15 minutes. It was great. The backward ride in the dark is cool with some good ejectors. I also really like the pause in the cave right before the train is released to speed downhill out of the mountain and into the helix.
-
Theming Fun Too short
It's a long and well themed ride but still somehow seems too short? Not sure how to explain it but the duration is propped up by the theatrics (which are awesome). It's a good family coaster for sure though.

Theming Fun Duration Intensity
This was my favorite ride I went on from all the Disney parks (although I missed Rock N Roller Coaster). The theming is insanely good, especially in the queue. The backwards twisted drop was completely unexpected, and pulled some insane laterals. And then the moments with the yeti mixed in with that drop out of the mountain and that great helix, and you have a recipe for a fantastic ride.

Theming Location Intensity Rattle
This ride is just amazing from start to finish. Like every disney coaster this coaster has just top of the top theming from head to toe. But overall this ride is fun especially the 2nd half of the ride with the backward section and nice drop. The line also moves so quick a 4 hour line in other theme parks takes them 30 minutes they have great dispatches. Overall an insane and unique coaster and a must do at Animal Kingdom at Disney World

Theming Nice surprise! Fun Dead spots
This was my first “big coaster” as a kid. Sure, I had been on Big Thunder, Space Mountain, those others. But the way the mountain loomed over the rest of the park was terrifying. This was when I was a lot younger, and I haven’t been to any of the Disney parks in years. From what I can remember, the ride was amazing, with a really intense backwards section and helix toward the end of the ride. The drop thrilled me as a kid, but I’m not sure how I would feel about it now. The theming was great and the ride was really good.

Theming Intensity Smoothness
A surprisingly intense family coaster. My favorite Disney coaster that I've done. Super well themed and the mountain look's fantastic. The fake broken track is cool and the backwards section is disorienting. From there you've got lots of forceful helices and a nice drop plus interaction with the mountain. Really good ride.

Theming Nice surprise! Fun Intensity
Credit #2 (Same with the Space Mountain review and like 9 other coasters lol) Pros: -This Vekoma was insane when I was dragged on to it. This was the one that started it all. Cons: -Can't think of any since every ride was flawless. Though it's down on my list since it's not really intense, and I'm a sucker for intensity. Still a 5 for me!

Theming Comfort Smoothness Dead spots
Expedition everest is a fun ride, the thing that makes it for me is the themeing and rock work. The backwards section is fun and the turn around has some positives, it´s just a family coaster tho, don´t expect much more than that

Theming Smoothness Duration Dead spots
Despite this being the best themed coaster at Disney (or if not in the world), this ride is not the greatest of all time. I prefer good rides over good theming and it really shows here. While the coaster is smooth itself but it really doesn't do a lot. My favorite part has to be when the ride goes backwards, the turn-around is forceful. The drops are big but you don't feel them. I think what they wanted to do was to make a coaster with stuff to look around at, it succeeds.
-
Capacity Dead spots
Eh. Seems to be really really overhyped for what amounts to a less interesting big thunder with uninteresting effects, terrible overall flow thanks to the switch tracks and a fairly dull layout.

Theming Nice surprise! Dead spots
I rode this 5 years ago so I don't have an updated opinion. And I was GP then. So I liked it a lot. It was my second favorite coaster when I left and now it's in the late 20s for me out of 64 credits currently. Really fun ride. My gp self was terrified when the track looked like it was gonna go off. Also more stuff I said that were gp and I don't want to talk about it. I did it 11 times in a row. AMAZING THEMING. Fun ride.
-
Theming Fun Masterpiece
This is the best themed roller coaster in the world in my opinion. The moderate intensity with the low light backwards section and low to the ground turns makes it one of the most intense mine train roller coasters.
-
Theming Masterpiece Intensity
This is Walt Disney Imagineering's Magnum Opus. Smooth, cinematic, intense, scary, and the best theming and landscaping on any roller coaster in the world. There's not much else to say.
-
Theming Lap Bar Fun
Fun all throughout. Multiple track changes with good drop speeds and theming
-
Theming Dead spots
Expedition Everest would be an absolutely bizarre, but generally mediocre roller coaster without the theming. Everest isn't amazingly forceful throughout most of its layout. The helix is pretty good. What makes this coaster amazing is the theming. There's a fantastic story told through this coaster. All the dead spots are deliberate to maximize the theming. Everest is a masterpiece blend of theming and thrill.

Theming Pace Layout Too short
7.7 out of 10. pretty theme all around, very nice looking. has some kick to it at times, must ride in the back row.
-
Theming Fun Masterpiece Too short
Definitely the best balance of theming and thrills of any highly themed rollercoaster. I wish they could get that Yeti running again
