Airtimes Intensity Duration
Long, intense ride with airtime throughout the ride. Basically a mini Voyage.

great layout and amazing use of terrain. i just recently came back here to get some evening rides on ravine flyer, and i was blown away by the view at sunset. most gorgeous breathtaking location for a coaster ever.

Airtimes First Drop Rattle Headbanging
It is one of the best coasters I have ever been on! Although it is extremely loud, that doesn’t really matter, as the ride makes up for it in thrills!

Location Fun Rattle Headbanging Discomfort
Im shocked about some of the reviews. I like it, but not that much. also its iffy if im going to have a normal ride without the rattling of a plane about to be caught in a mid air collision.

Airtimes First Drop Location Dead spots
Interesting ride for sure. On one hand the beginning of the ride is very fast and has some great sustained moments of strong floater airtime that I really enjoy, and that first drop is amazing in the back. Plus the location is just stunning. However on the other hand the end of the ride is very sluggish and fails to do much, plus there is that large hill in the beginning where the ride slows down a lot. Either way I really enjoy the good moments of the ride and it is definitely a really solid ride.

Airtimes Location
Love the view of lake Eire from the lift and then it being built on a cliff its my favorite location for a coaster.

Location Pace Fun
This is the Voyage light. It has fewer calories, goes down smooth on a hot day or post yardwork, and you can binge it some and not feel like garbage afterwards. Fantastic woodie.

Airtimes Location Intensity Dead spots
Ravine Flyer II is a phenomenal wooden coaster. Its setting is fantastic, going back into the woods and over a road near Lake Erie. This ride is intense. It's long. It does feel like it loses some steam towards the end, but overall it's still a wonderful coaster that alone is reason to go to Waldameer.

Location Pace Intensity Dead spots
Not to be missed. Best location for a wooden coaster I've seen except maybe Beast and Voyage. You are hovering above Lake Erie before plunging into wilderness and a blue tunnel over the road, with no way to foresee where the track will take you. Even though this coaster is ranked in the 80s, it is STILL UNDERRATED.

Pace Rattle
Lots of coaster sites rank this highly, but I'm not a big fan. I found the layout to be good but not great, and after two rides I was done. It was too shaky for my tastes.

Airtimes First Drop Layout Dead spots
こいつの本当に凄いところはズバリ、ファーストドロップ。これだけの落差を、旧式のPTCトレインで、ここまで淀みなく落ちきれる木製コースターというのもそうはない。途中で捻りが入るのがミソ。

Airtimes First Drop Location Capacity
Great ride, worth the wait even when the park is busy. Expect one train ops though.

Airtimes First Drop Fun
The drop is one of my favorites, the airtime hills are awesome, and the laterals are pretty good. Not the greatest pacing in the world, but it's an awesome ride!

Airtimes Location Intensity
Very similar to voyage just smaller. One of the best settings for any ride. You see Lake Eerie and then just drop down the ravine. Fantastic airtime throughout the whole layout and plenty of whip.

Airtimes Location Pace
Ravine Flyer II is my favorite modern wooden coaster. It has everything I could ever want, and more. Everything about this ride is simply spectacular. First drop into a tunnel, the huge turnaround and subsequent drop, the jarring laterals, the awesome airtime moments over the bridge, the airtime at the bottom of the ravine, the swinging turns and hills at the top, the diving overbank, the huge trees and perfect location and terrain, the wonderful PTC trains, and even the park that it's in. This coaster has a special place in my heart that is only beaten by a front row night ride on a certain creature in Ohio.

Location Layout Dead spots
In August 2014, I found that the train slowed down a bit too much, so that the second half of the ride was lacking a little bit (including slight hangtime in the 90° banked turn). Other than that, this is a fantastic creation.

Pace Intensity Layout
A raw, powerful wooden coaster, RFII packs the punch of a pre-depression John Miller creation with the smoothness that comes from modern technology and a devoted upkeep team at Waldameer. The speed and intensity are so incredibly out of place at this family-oriented park, but I can't complain about walking on a half dozen times for less than admission to most parks.
