Lap Bar Launch Capacity

On very dead day I manage to ride it 13x. The launch is nothing like Formula's Rossa, but still it is amazing. In the end of the launch the train has a tendence to jump up and down with very unpleasant way - that is the only weakness of the coaster itself. Operations are another topic. Trains are very comfortable, spectacular views, great coaster.

Comfort Launch Smoothness Too short Capacity

It's a great ride. The launch and linear acceleration are typical of LSMs: Snappy but not as intens as a hydraulic launch. Towards the end of the acceleration track, the back slightly shakes, and then the ride takes to the sky. It makes it just barely and completely airtimeless over the top hat. A brief but magnificent view, followed by the descent and tha break run. In my opinion, the final bump is hardly worth mentioning. The overall ride feeling is typically Intamin: very comfortable. The new restraints are comfortable too and offer maximum freedom. A short but intense adrenaline rush overall, especially at night. However, with a ride lasting only 20 seconds, it's definitely too short and doesn't justify the wait time of one and a half hours, even though we were able to save some time at the very end in the Single Rider Lane. The capacity is also rather weak with only 12 riders per train.

Lap Bar Masterpiece Smoothness Too short Intensity

Wow. I really mean it. It's 112 mph and 112 metres tall. However, it doesn't feel like that. It feels like being 40 mph, and 72 metres tall. I love this ride, I would definitely go on it again at least twice, but please make the ride faster.

Comfort Launch Intensity Too short

This ride is incredibly intense. The launch absolutely packs a punch and is very long so it feels like it never ends. The feeling is awesome and you also get some great positives at the tophat. Some fun airtime at the top, and that´s basically it. But due its crazy intensity and launch, it´s easily a 5 star coaster in my opinion.

It has been a very long time since i wasnt feeling nervous for a ride. Operations and operators were nice and effective, good vibe in the station. The ride is an impressive experience, and very intense in the heat.

Crazy. And always an imposing sight at PortAventura. I’ve ridden this many times during my visits there. Great top hat and pace. The noise it makes is impressive. It’s huge and intense. A front row ride is one of Europe’s best rollercoaster experiences.

powerful lsm launch sustained for a long time. very good. i like the airtime at the top of the top hat. i don't like the brakes, and the launch has a rattle.

Loved this ride, the launch and the pull up into the top hat might be one of the most intense 5s I’ve ever experienced on a coaster followed by some great airtime and incredible views over the top hat. It’s a bit short and there’s a slight rattle but besides that a phenomenal ride

Incredible launch that just keeps going. Unfortunately, the rattle on the way up and the hump before the brakes are quite uncomfortable.

Lap Bar Launch Intensity Capacity

What a crazy rollercoaster or rather rollercoaster concept. Especially with the LSM launch this ride is a load of fun. The acceleration is incredibly long and intense, the ascend is nice and the drop is just awesome. The over-the-shoulder lap bar is amazing and takes this coaster to the next level. You are never stapled and the fall is like a frefall tower drop. This is especially noticeable in the last rows. I actually get everything out of this ride that I'm looking for in a coaster. There is intensity, an awesome drop and a fast paced layout that is admittedly a bit short. This is one of the most amazing experiences I have made on a rollercoaster and thus I do recommend to check this out.

First Drop Lap Bar Launch Capacity

The launch of this ride is fantastic. I haven't experienced Dragster or Kingda Ka so I can't compare the launches. The ride up to the top head is very forceful. The drop is great too. This is another masterpiece by Intamin. P.S: the ride is not too short. It's all about the launch and the tophead ... and that is executed just perfectly.

Airtimes Lap Bar Disappointing! Discomfort Launch

Never been more disappointed in a coaster. The launch is extremely lack-luster, it launches from a rolling start and doesn’t really accelerate fast enough to that top speed point, zapping all the intensity out of it. It also has a terrible rattle around halfway down the straight at the back. The top hat is not bad, with really great views and some decent airtime, and of course it’s fast! For me it should all be about that launch and it just does not deliver in that regard. Special mention goes to it’s operations which ruined the experience for me. Staff will not let you queue for front seat - you cannot even let other people past you while you wait for the next one. This is mind boggling and I think is there to ensure people buy their speedy passes (which allow you to go front seat for an extra charge). Was not able to see if it was better in the front when I went a second time!

Very gradual but fast launch and an amazing view on the top hat! Great theming, restraints and airtime! The rattle on the launch is insanity and can give you a headache but it really adds to the intensity imo!

Lap Bar Launch Masterpiece Too short

Love it hate it for being a straightforward record breaking coaster, it felt as an achievement riding this coaster. With that mentality this was the ultimate coaster for me in Europe. The launch is pleasant yet fast but not overly powerful, the vertical track up was insane, top hat has the few seconds of view before crashing down to Mother Earth.....though everything went so fast (+/- 20 seconds), I can't remember eveything well either. Riding it multiple times might actually be recommended. It is worth to ride this coaster, despite the necessity to purchase another entrance ticket.

Launch Pace Intensity Too short

Oh what to say about Red Force... A real beauty! You can see it miles & miles away on your road to the park. The on-ride experience is, while very short like all top hats, extremely enjoyable. Some say they should've added an element to the drop but I think the pure drop makes it even more extreme. Overall an iconic & hard to skip coaster in PortAventura World, the sole reason many people buy extension tickets to Ferrari Land!

First Drop Launch Intensity Too short Theming Layout

It was better than expected. Despite being obviously way too short, leaving me desiring more, it was so intense, and the train hit so hard the final brakes, that it was definitely worth it. It can be a bit rattly at the back, especially at the end of the launch, but that didn't bother me at all. The (Mack copied) restraints were really comfortable, though they seem extremely dangerous (when the ride is over, they let go so fast that I think they could have cut off my head if I hadn't reacted quickly ;) ). The train is nicely themed, but unfortunately that's all the theming it gets. However, it's not something too important in this coaster for me, as it looks really, really, really impressive, and you don't even notice it lacks theming. The launch is great, very sustained and reaches a record speed, and climbing up that huge top hat is as impressive as it seems. At the back rows, the drop is amazing, and you feel that life is going to be over soon. At the very front one, however, despite having some weak floater at the top hat, the drop is not that good, though you get some breath-taking views. Moreover, feeling the speed and the wind on your face is thrilling, and the security glasses are cool. To end with, as the park is a bit stingy, we don't have a nice speed hill like in Stealth or Kingda Ka, but at least we are offered a tiny bunny hop which provides some short floater pop as well. The ride is over before you realise, yet it's so intense that it leaves you breathless.

The launch is surprisingly fun, despite not being too forceful, the sensation of speed at the end of the launch was amazing, and climbing up that high, with that amazing view was just spectacular. I personally didn't have a problem with a rattle or anything, and the restraints were super.

Launch Pace Intensity Capacity

First of all, the roaring launch feels like it would never end and the top hat is taken quite slow - so you can look down and think "Oh sh**!" considering that you are over 100 metres off the ground right before plummeting down. After that, you hit the brakerun and this hell of a ride is over. It is short, but a great kick for every thrillseeker - but if you don't want to pay for an express pass, you should be patient: at my visit, operations were very slow (much worse than in the adjacent Port Aventura!), dispatching a train about every two minutes which isn't great if the trains only carry 12 people.

Launch Pace Rattle Too short

Obviously Red Force is too short, just a top hat with no other elements doesn’t do this ride’s speed justice (but that’s a problem with lots of accelerators). The launch is powerful yet gradual, a very unique sensation. The top hat is very fun, somewhat intense with a great sense of speed and pace. There’s a definite and very noticeable rattle in the last section of launch track and after the top hat, but that doesn’t detract too much from the ride experience. Overall Red Force is an awesome ride with just a few minor flaws.

How can you mess up such a simple concept so badly. Rough, forceless, boring, visually unappealing, one of the most disappointing coasters ive ever ridden.

I loved this ride, the first time was soo much fun! And quite a shock to the system.. wasn't expecting to be on the front row for the first time but it happened and it was epic! The speed is just insane and the launch just keeps going then suddenly you're shooting up the hill and the view from the top is awesome! Then facing directly to the ground.. crazy. A lot of fun and a really snappy launch. The queue line sucks though, couldn't be more of a cattle pen.. and it's a bit rough on the rows nearer to the back of the train, but front row is great.

Launch Too short Disappointing! Pointless

I heard the legends about TTD and Kingda Ka and... I'm disappointed. The only good thing is a launch, then you go really fast to the top and go down. You don't even feel that you're 110m above the ground. For me you can spend that money for much better coaster.

Airtimes Location Rattle

I liked this ride. The launch has a very big vibration and is not super powerful. The top hat is really fun. You get some good airtime on the little hill on the brake run.

Lap Bar Pace Fun

A fantastic ride, nothing beats the front row with the goggles on and the wind blowing in your face. The pace never lets down on this short adrenaline rush and it’s insane airtime on the top hat and bunny hill deliver good ejectors. I do not mind the launch I actually thought it was fun because it felt more like a Ferrari. One of my favourite rides.

Airtimes Harness Launch

The LSM launch of Red Force doesn't deliver. Sure, it goes fast, but rate of change of speed is very poor. Your average hatchback can accelerate as fast as Red Force, consequently the ride is therefore about the huge hill instead. Gives a good blast of air and view from the top. Also, goggles on the front row, seriously? Don't be bloody daft. They aren't necessary on significantly longer and quicker rides. The trains are somewhat lurch and if you sit back flat to the seat you will bounce off-and-off it randomly and uncomfortably - sit forward to avoid this effect. Final "bonus" hill into the brakes is neat in principle but feels like you've just stacked your car into a wall. All things considered we're lucky to have a ride like this at all in Europe, but I can't rate it highly.
