Probably the best ride of the park. A really smooth en fun coaster with a very cool surprise at the end! I think Bellewaerde did a great job with this ride!

Capacity Location Fun

Really good family coaster, the layout is fun and the backwards part is a very nice addition. Theming and soundtrack are great and the capacity with 3 trains means the queue keeps moving. My only nitpick would be the booster wheel lifthill in the middle, it just doesn't add anything to the ride and the sudden boost in acceleration is kinda janky.

Comfort Pace Fun

I like Wakala. It's a family coaster, but it's fun and has a nice pace. A real asset for the park.

Theming Location Duration Dead spots Intensity

Theming is well done, there is even some nice dispatch music and this a quite long ride located near the lake. The layout looks good on paper, but it doesn't do anything for me: the banked airtime hills are taken too slow to produce those RMC effects, so these elements feel a bit awkward. Overall, the coaster is quite tame, even for a family ride (I considered Huracan as more intense), the weak uphill "launch" is pointless and the spike is nothing more than an optically nice gimmick - the backwards part is just too short to come into effect properly. For such a new ride, the coaster has some jolty moments, but all in all, nothing too dramatic.

Wonderful family coaster, not too intense but within a nice setting in the woods and the sea.

I do still think that the new gerstlauer family coaster is the best of its kind. I didn't find it to be as good as its brothers but the spike and transfer track are a nice bonus.

Airtimes Comfort Fun

This Gerstlauer family coaster really blew me away. What a solid family ride, it even has floater airtime!

Theming Comfort Fun Rattle Dead spots

Bellewaerde wanted to build a real family coaster that is suitable for all family members and this in the green setting for which the park is known. The park has therefore fully succeeded in this. The rollercoaster never gets too wild and will never get bored. There are enough different variations in the trail to keep the ride interesting and exciting for everyone. The spike is a nice addition that makes Wakala different from her peers and the course has a pleasant length. The 21-meter-high spike is best suited to the passengers sitting in the front of the train. The small acceleration on the second lift hill also comes into its own a bit better. Those who sit in the back of the train have a bit more airtime and spunk during the rest of the course. This makes it fun to take a seat in the front and rear of the train. Both places give a different ride experience. The coaster can be rattley a bit tho, but I did not take away from the ride at all as the seats were comfortable and gave quit alot of space for the leg Overall, this is a good coaster if your kids want something much more thrilling.
