Today was my first time riding this coaster and probably my last. The part before the vertical lift hill was fun, and gave me high hopes for what was to come. There’s a surprise first drop, which at first glance looked as if the track just stopped. The inline twist through the water was really nice. But after the vertical lifthill things turned sour very quickly. The headbanging was unbearable and took away all enjoyment of the ride. I was relieved when we arrived at the loading station again. I left this ride with a raging headache. The theming was allright, although quite tame for Saw.

My only ride of the day was on row 8. The first drop was a lot more intense than I thought it would be and really surprised me. The lift hill is quite fast, which made the train go over the top at a faster pace than what I’m used to. And because I was seated near the back, it really felt like I was being yanked down the first drop, which resulted in some great airtime. The stalled dive loop and outward banked airtime hill were a lot of fun and made me giggle like a little kid.
I did experience some rattle and I was surprised when we reached the end of the ride, because it felt too short. The theming was very minimal. There is a story behind the coaster, but it could’ve been expanded upon.
Despite these negative points it’s still a great coaster and an amazing experience.

This is the star of Heide Park. It has one of the best first drops I’ve ever experienced and I could feel myself coming loose from my seat on the subsequent air time hills. The ride has been refurbished and I’ve never been on this ride before the refurbishment, so I can’t compare, but it was very smooth, no rattling or jerking. It’s also a very long ride, but it didn’t bore me for a second. The theming of the Colossos ripping the track apart looks impressive. There are fire, smoke and sound effects every time a train passes through the head, which look beautiful. The soundtrack also adds a very menacing atmosphere to the queue. If I would have to name one con it would be the theming of the train station. They have some strings of lights wrapped around the pillars, but it just looks a bit unfinished. You can clearly see the cables and it kind of looks like something I can buy in a store around the corner.
I knew it was going to be bad, but I decided to be stubborn because I wanted to check off every ride in the park.

After the first drop I was just praying for it to end and I’m an atheist. The rattling and headbanging was so bad I was disoriented for most of the ride, so I couldn’t even tell when the torture would end.
Never will I be this stubborn again. After this horrible ride I've decided that I will never, ever, ride a Vekoma SLC ever again.

A very enjoyable ride. My only complaint would be some rattle when you’re riding in the back seats. Going through some of the elements in the back seats, I could sometimes feel a rough jerk as the front of the train would pick up the pace, pulling the rest of the train along. When I was seated more to the front I experienced almost no rattle or jerking. The first drop is a lot of fun and I loved riding this coaster over and over again to experience it from different sides and seats.
