First Drop Fun Duration Lap Bar

Awesome floater on every hill. Definitely a front-row ride. Also, the setting is gorgeous.

    Discomfort Lap Bar

This ride is just Intimidator 305 but awful in every way

  • Carl V.

This ride is really fun, it has some really good airtime in the back row and is really smooth for how old it is. Weird thing, the trains are falling apart. A piece came off of the back of my seat during the ride and I punched it back into place on the brake run.

  • Carl V.

It never really does anything, but it has some fun floater airtime and it's pretty smooth. It feels like a better version of the Kennywood Racer. The one rough part of the ride is the ascent into the turnaround, which has a SERIOUS jolt. I got the first ride of the day on this side, so that was fun.

    Location Fun

This ride is hilarious! It is so downright violent, and from off-ride, you can see why. The structure sways SO MUCH and the ride is clearly tearing itself apart. This is one of those rides that is so violent that you come off laughing! You'd think that that would make for an awful ride, but there is enough padding to make it bearable. Haha, get it? Bear-able? lol. One thing you should know before you visit this park is that this ride is REALLY hard to find. Its entrance is up by the windseeker, inside of a rustic-looking store.

Inversions Fun Harness Discomfort Dead spots

Put Joker's Jinx in a box, give it cool theming, make it slower, rougher, give it horrible restraints, bad operations and you get Flight of Fear. This flight feels less like a roller coaster and more like a plane that's about to crash into the ground. The only good part of the ride is the first three inversions, which are hella trippy in the dark, and the final turn and corkscrew before the brakes. It's not awful, but it isn't great. Also, this had a 45-minute long line and awful ride ops. I prefer Joker's Jinx.

    Inversions Pace Intensity

Epic B&M looping coaster. The drop is awesome, the turns are intense, and the inversions are very snappy for a B&M. Also this ride HAULS. Oh, and while I was in line, someone dropped a cane into the mechanical floor and a ride op had to enter the ride area and retrieve it. It was a break-down, but an amusing one.

    Bigass wild mouse. Riveting.

    Headbanging Discomfort Pointless

Not good. Every element hurts. That drop is snappy, not in a good way, and that twister section after the midcourse is a joke. Nothing about this ride was unbearable, but there wasn't really anything good either. Except for that loop. Arrow loops are fantastic!

    Disappointing! Discomfort Pointless

I hate this ride with a passion. I hate this ride so much. This is easily the worst major coaster that I've ever ridden. The restraint feels like it is designed for 4-year-olds, I got stomach-stapled, it was pinching my belt against my flesh, which hurt like HELL. Also, the trains were made of cheap plastic, and one of the train's outer casing was clearly cracked, and then fixed band-aid style with this metal bracket, it was hideous. And that was just in the station! From the launch, every turn is a violent slam, every moment of airtime is killed by those god-awful restraints. The only good part of this ride is the two launches. The indoor section is easily the worst part. It is just as bad as every other part of this ride, but you can't brace yourself. I have a hard time believing that this piece of garbage was built in 2006. Also, the theming sucks. It's clear that Cedar Fair came it, ripped up all the IP, replaced it with crappy, generic car junk, and disabled all of the effects to save money. It's also in the African section, which makes no sense at all, but somehow, it doesn't even manage to be the best car-themed coaster in the area! Here are a few rides I prefer to this one, Mind Eraser, WIldcat, Thunderhawk, Anaconda, and literally every WIld Mouse. Please King's Dominion, destroy this ride.

    Inversions Fun Intensity

I didn't like this ride when I rode it back in 2019, but I got 1 ride on it two weeks ago and I loved it! It felt a lot more intense than I remembered it, which also goes for Apollo's Chariot and Griffon. I loved the drop, the big elements in the beginning, and the Zero-G roll and corkscrew at the end of the ride are seriously weird. You get airtime, laterals, whip, and positive gs at the same time on both of these inversions. I don't know how the hell that's possible, but it happens and it feels really good! My one complaint with this ride is the operations. These employees are just straight-up incompetent. There were, I kid you not, 5-10 minute dispatches. The wait in the station alone was 20 minutes. THAT. IS. EMBARRASSING. Also, this kid bad-mouthed me in the queue line.

Airtimes Fun Rattle Discomfort Lap Bar

This ride has intense ejector airtime machine with a great drop and the helices are a lot more intense than I thought they would be! There are quite a few things that take away from the ride experience. The shin guards are way too close to your legs, that straight track is completely pointless, the ride is extremely rough, and the lap bar isn't very accommodating for... males... which especially hurt in the back seat after that last airtime hill when you are slammed forward by those breaks. But overall it's a very good ride, 10x better than Skyrush.

  • Carl V.

    First Drop Fun Smoothness

I thought that this ride would be a jackhammerry mess, but I actually had some fun with it. The first drop is awesome and the ride manages to be almost smooth in the front row. The signature GCI turnaround transitions give some wild ejector and the turns provide some nice laterals. The long half-tunnel towards the middle of the ride provided a nice visual. Also, this ride runs REALLY well despite having PTC trains. Overall 7/10, better than Lightning Racer.

  • Carl V.

I don't care for this ride at all. It wasn't bad, it just that it's literally a spinning wild mouse that can be found everywhere.

  • Carl V.

    Fun Headbanging Discomfort

It wasn't unbearable. If you push your head really hard into the restraint away from where the lateral force wants to take you it makes the ride a lot better. My favorite element on the ride was the wave turn, which for whatever reason was really smooth. Also, the ride has a gorgeous location next to a forest with the first drop getting really close to the park's rapids ride. This was my first SLC and it wasn't NEARLY as bad as I thought it would be based on what some of you all have said about it. You all need to chill out lol

  • Carl V.

    Inversions Intensity Discomfort

Awesome ride! The launch and first two inversions are absolutely insane! The middle of the ride is pretty rough, aside from that awesome S bend and that final run at the bottom of the structure is SERIOUSLY intense! And when we went, the ride looked really nice as it had recently been given a fresh new coat of paint.

  • Carl V.

    Discomfort

That last transition into the final turn is so violent that my brother next to me elbowed me really hard on our first lap, and then on our third lap, our heads smashed together really hard. So that sucked.

  • Carl V.

    Inversions Fun Rattle Headbanging

I went in thinking that this was going to be a decently fun ride with a bit of a rattle, and yeah, it was exactly that. The inversions were smooth, so that's a plus I guess. You will have to hold your head forward to avoid headbanging, though. Overall, this is a fun, underrated B&M floorless that I would've ridden again if it didn't break lol

First Drop Inversions Intensity Harness Discomfort

This was about as fun as I imagined. It was more intense than I thought it would be, but it was also extremely rough and uncomfortable. I loved the loop and the drop, and everything else was fun, but rough. Also, this ride might have the ugliest surrounding area of any roller coaster ever.

  • Carl V.

    Theming Launch Masterpiece Rattle

This ride is so good! Best in the park by FAR. It feels so complete. It has 2 great launches, a great drop, a fun indoor section, and a great outdoor finale. Not to mention the surprise element ;) that took my breath away because I had done no research on this ride and didn't know it existed. I applaud you Zierer for making a ride that isn't garbage, that actually has locking lap bars. *cough* *cough* Impulse *cough* *cough* Also, the theming is so eerie and creepy! (Also why are y'all standing up on this ride? Just... No...)

  • Carl V.

First Drop Rattle Discomfort Lap Bar

Awful awful AWFUL ride. The lap bar is just as bad as Skyrush's, the hangtime hurts, there's no airtime and the elements suck. The only good part of the ride is the drop, which is actually my favorite on any coaster, but after that, the lap bar starts a-crushing and the ride dies. Also, the fact that this is ranked higher than Flying Turns makes my skin crawl. DON'T RIDE THIS

The brakes will cause you to slam your stomach into the restraint, so, watch out for that.

    Fun Intensity Layout

Incredibly underrated wooden roller coaster. I honestly think that it is better than the Phoenix. This ride is like the Intimidator 305 of laterals. It is intense, long, and fun. It is kind of lacking in the airtime department, but airtime doesn't make the ride. Second best in the park behind Flying Turns.

  • Carl V.

    Fun Dead spots

Like I said with the left side, it's a pretty bland ride. There isn't any airtime and the racing element is weak and out of sync, but it is fun nonetheless and has a nice nostalgic atmosphere surrounding it.
