    Standard, albeit ugly Vekoma Junior.

    Airtimes

Just your standard wild mouse, but the airtime pop caught me by surprise. A good surprise that is!

  • Chermaine S.

Thank goodness for the trim on the drop!

Just your standard Wacky Worm. Violent laterals.

    Theming Too short

Bonus points for the beautiful train! Layout is really short but it goes around 3 times so that makes up for it.

    Laterals. Other than that it's a +1

    Smoothness Ejectors Duration

Amazing coaster! The sustained ejector on the first two hills is simply incredible and the rest of the layout has some more great ejector and floater airtime moments. It is butter smooth as well, something I wasn't expecting from a woodie. I had no problems with the helix in the middle, you pick up speed throughout making it quite a fun element and the theming is also really good. Great job Intamin! Edit 24-10-2023: After having ridden El Toro at Six Flags Great Adventure Colossos was kinda disappointing. El Toro's first drop and subsequent hills are so much better than those of Colossos and El Toro has much better pacing. Colossos is still a great ride but it just left me disappointed because El Toro is just that much better. The only things Colossos does better are the smoothness and theming.

    Theming Rattle Harness Discomfort

It's an SLC alright. Not as bad as Vampire but it still sucks. Soundtrack is great though!

    First Drop Intensity Ejectors Discomfort

Absolutely the greatest wooden coaster the earth has ever seen. It has an incredible first drop and it only gets better from there. The first two hills give insane sustained ejector airtime and that rolling thunder hill has to be the strongest moment of ejector I've ever experienced, it really feels like you're riding a bull that's trying to throw you off its back and I love it! The twists at the end are pretty intense with some nice whip, a fantastic addition to the ride besides the airtime hills. Pacing is really good (can't say the same for Colossos at Heide Park). The only thing preventing this ride from getting a 5 star rating is that it's not smooth unfortunately. Especially the turnaround after the first two hills is quite uncomfortable as there are some painful jolts. If it were smooth, El Toro would easily climb a few spots in my ranking. Truly a world-class ride and an Intamin masterpiece.

    Rattle Discomfort

How is this one so rough compared to other coasters of this model? It looks, sounds and feels like it hasn't been maintained in 10 years!

  • Chermaine S.

    Smoothness

Surprisingly smooth for an SBF, it's actually not terrible!

  • Chermaine S.

    Theming Dead spots

Standard Zierer albeit with horrible pacing. It almost doesn't clear the second hill. Also that has to be one of the ugliest front cars ever though.

  • Chermaine S.

    Location Fun Too short

Fun little alpine coaster with an amazing view on top of the lifthill, but quite short.

  • Chermaine S.

    Discomfort

Quite alright, up until the brakes which earns this ride the discomfort con. Man those brakes hit hard.

  • Chermaine S.

    Discomfort

Here's your standard Wacky Worm. Boring up until that drop which violently slams you into the left side of the train.

  • Chermaine S.

    First Drop Theming

This Wacky Worm has some nice theming and that first drop is great because there is none! Seriously, those trims on the drop are a good thing because you don't get violently slammed to the left on the turn that follows.

  • Chermaine S.

    Pointless

That has to be one of the most boring coasters ever made. I mean even for kids this one just isn't interesting. More like babies' first coaster.

  • Chermaine S.

    Fun Layout

Usually I hate Wild Mouse coasters because of how painful and janky they are, but this one really wasn't bad. Probably because this one has trims taking away some speed which is a really good thing during those hairpin turns. Zamperla knows how to make Wild Mouse coasters it seems!

  • Chermaine S.

    Pointless Layout

One word: boring. This ride just doesn't do ANYTHING.

  • Chermaine S.

    First Drop Discomfort

This ride is weird. The first drop is nice but everything after is just really janky. There is one very sharp turn to the right causing you to slam into the left side of the train which is by far the worst part of the ride. The rest isn't really painful so I don't dislike this ride, but I don't love it either. It's just...a weird coaster. Guess that's Pax for you.

    Airtimes Fun

After having ridden Tonnerre 2 Zeus the day before and hating its roughness, I was really afraid of Wood Express but this one was unexpectedly quite fun. It's definitely not as rough as Tonnerre making this one much more enjoyable and it has some nice airtime moments too!

  • Chermaine S.

    Smoothness

Just your standard Tivoli. +1. It's funny how this one doesn't brake in the station just before the second round, producing some hilarious laterals.

  • Chermaine S.

    Headbanging Discomfort Tear it down!

Oh my what a bad ride...the inversions feel like they're taken far too fast causing A LOT of headbanging. This ride genuinely feels like a torture device. Tear it down!

  • Chermaine S.

    Discomfort

It's not as bad as other Zierers but this one was still not fun. The brakes are pretty hard so you get slammed into the restraint which was painful and the layout does absolutely nothing.

  • Chermaine S.

    Fun Duration Rattle

It's a Mack Bobsled so it's not gonna be too crazy, but I enjoyed this one for its long duration and sense of speed. It felt like it was flying through those turns which was great! Plus the view on Toutatis is a nice extra. It does have a slight rattle but nothing too bad.

  • Chermaine S.

    Theming Nice surprise! Fun

What a fun ride! There are quite a few surprises during the long layout making this one really enjoyable. Well done Gerstlauer!

  • Chermaine S.

    Theming Rattle Disappointing! Discomfort

I love wooden coasters that have a bit of a rattle to them, however on Tonnerre 2 Zeus it is just too much. This thing runs on square wheels and it gives you a headache. Not enjoyable at all. I was hoping this ride wouldn't be that bad because of the recent retrack, but yeah this one just left me disappointed.

    Theming Intensity Layout

With other B&M Inverts I've ridden I feel they do not really stand out from each other. OzIris I feel stands out from the rest because of its great layout. It has intense inversions, some weak floater airtime moments, a long ride and beautiful Egyptian theming. Certainly one of the best coasters in France!
