This ride is a ton of fun and definitely my favorite at Magic Mountain. The layout is amazing with two fantastic drops and numerous airtime moments. The ride is a bit disappointing when it doesn't duel, but thankfully the ops have been pretty good about keeping things efficient, so it almost always duels for half of the ride and the line keeps moving as well. My only real complaint with this ride is that the lap bar can be very uncomfortable on the thighs and groin area. Other than that, this is an amazing coaster that everyone who visits Magic Mountain should definitely ride.

This ride has a very creative layout with a crazy amount of ejector airtime. Unfortunately, the trains and harnesses make this unrideable for me. If you have long legs, they will be smashed into an awkward spread-out position by the strange lap bar and the wheel hump in the middle of the train. The shoulder straps continually scraped against my neck throughout the ride. Furthermore, the capacity for this ride is one of the worst at Magic Mountain; I believe the ride was designed to run four trains, but it only runs two at most. Prepare to wait a long time for a ride that will probably hurt if you are tall.

I love the launches on this ride so much. They feel surprisingly punchy for LSMs. The vertical loop has the perfect amount of slight hangtime before you fly through the short layout into the tunnel. The backwards launch also gives great hangtime in the back rows. The obvious issue with this ride is that it's seemingly only half of a ride. The tophat over the loop should lead into another fun layout section, but instead there's trim brakes on the drop and the coaster just ends in a pretty uncomfortable way. Even with that flaw, however, this ride is still very fun, and it even has the better Premier trains without the comfort collars as the cherry on top.

This is my only batclone, and I feel like it's a solid layout. There are some very fun and fluid movements especially with the rolls in the second half of the ride. The ride runs very smoothly and is well-paced. I actually wish this coaster was a bit longer just because of how fun it is. This ride also has a well-themed station, especially for a Six Flags park. This is a must-ride for anyone who hasn't already experienced a batclone.

This ride is definitely overhated. The layout might not be the most interesting for a hypercoaster, but it has an absolutely insane amount of positives especially in the final helix (even with the aggressive brakes on the midcourse). The first drop is also pretty fun, especially speeding through the short underground tunnel. This coaster is also one of the smoothest at Magic Mountain and has a very comfortable lap bar. Overall, this coaster may not be what riders expect of a modern hypercoaster, but I think it's definitely worth riding. I only wish Six Flags would clean up the gum in the queue.

This is a really fun B&M layout with some intense inversions and ejector airtime moments. I'm not a fan of the restraints/"seats" but I don't think they're quite as bad as some of the other coasters in this park. This ride is extremely loud from both on- and off-ride, which I find a bit uncomfortable. It's also not the smoothest ride, although it's not too rough either. Overall, I think the pros of this coaster outweigh the cons, and since it usually has a very short line, I'd rather ride this coaster than skip it.

Pointless coaster in the Magic Mountain lineup. It's not bad per se, but everything it does is done better by either Riddler's Revenge or Viper. The fact that they didn't even cover the parking lot stripes is insulting. At least they got the rights to Darude Sandstorm for the station to distract you from that ear-shattering airhorn.

The theming is surprisingly good for something made by Six Flags. The station fly-by is a nice touch and improves the ride experience. However, waiting in the slow-moving queue inside that awful stuffy wooden building is not fun.

The speed is the single reason to ride this ride. This is the fastest coaster I've ever been on, and it is definitely a crazy sensation to be travelling this fast. Other than the speed, the trains are okay, and that's about it. The launch acceleration is mild, the spike isn't that interesting, and the ride is very short. Also, the capacity on this ride was terrible when it even ran in the first place. At this point it seems the ride is defunct, so I hope Six Flags can figure out something to do with the track (since they still need the tower for Lex Luther). But I won't be surprised if this coaster is still sitting there abandoned in 20 years.

I was surprised by how unique the swinging trains make this ride. Near the end, the coaster makes some very cool maneuvers over the water which made me enjoy it despite the lack of intensity. This is a good coaster for families especially since most of Magic Mountain's lineup is thrill coasters. The second lift at the end is a bit puzzling and anticlimactic but it's not the end of the world. However, the capacity of this ride is terrible considering Six Flags only runs one train, so it's not really worth the wait unless you're below 48" and this is the only ride you can do.

This coaster is amazing for its age. The layout of this ride is extremely intense, especially the back-to-back vertical loops. I also love the view of the valley you get from the top of the lift hill. This ride is rough, but it's not completely unrideable. I am tall so headbanging might be more of an issue for those who are not as tall. Overall, I still love this coaster despite how old it is, and I hope it sticks around.

I was expecting a bit more from this ride. Many people hype the theming at Universal but a lot of the props and projections in this ride didn't age well and seem tacky. The train is comfortable, the ride is smooth, and the launch is pretty good. When the ride reached the mysterious foggy turntable room at the end, I was expecting there to be more, but then the train just re-entered the station in the most anticlimactic way possible. That kind of killed the ride for me. Overall, it's still a pretty decent coaster.

This is a standard Vekoma kiddie coaster layout, but it adds an indoor dark ride section before the lift hill with several quirky Lego castle scenes. This helps make the ride much more charming and purposeful than the average kiddie coaster. Great ride for kids and families.

I don't understand this coaster at all. It's a pretty decent kiddie/family layout with mild launches, but the 48" height requirement severely limits its audience. Also, it's marketed as a straddle coaster when it is very clearly just a glorified sit-down. The line was way too long, and I was disappointed even taking into account that it's a kiddie coaster.

The pretzel loop is incredibly intense, and I love how it is placed near the end of the layout because it improves the pacing of the ride. The main issue with this ride is the terrible operations; it was designed to run a dual station, but Six Flags doesn't use it, so expect 140-second-plus cycles and a very slow queue. The coaster is a ton of fun, though, and a standout in Magic Mountain's lineup.

I think the layout is a lot of fun, but the head-banging and leg-banging makes this difficult to ride comfortably. It's definitely worse on the outer seats. The pyro happened to work one time I rode this, and I think it enhances the ride. Sadly, the audio has never worked for me, and I don't think it ever will. The theming in the queue is a new level of cringe that I have not witnessed before at a park. Overall, I would like this ride even more if it was smoother.

What irks me about this ride is it's a clone of the Dragon coaster nearby at Legoland CA, but the theming on this one is somehow worse despite this being Universal Studios. Dragon has a charming dark ride section which helps make up for the layout. This coaster, on the other hand, has a garden and some wicker baskets and that's about it. Definitely not worth the wait (even taking into account that it's a kiddie coaster).

This is one of my favorite coasters despite the hate it gets. It may not be the most intense B&M invert, but it's very graceful and just plain enjoyable to ride. The layout flows perfectly between the inversions without any weird transitions. The overbank feels great and the airtime pop between the two rolls is super fun. The helix at the end has some strong positives also. The trains are comfortable like any other B&M. I even kind of enjoy the gradual first drop into the loop which gets criticized a lot. Honestly, I enjoy this ride and think it's overhated.

The hydraulic launch is bonkers. There's really nothing else like this ride in California. The ride is very short and simple, but the top hat has a nice drop, and the turns have some high positives. The restraints and seats are also very comfortable. Unfortunately, this ride only ever runs one train (and honestly a second train wouldn't even help the capacity issues that much). The setup of the air gates (one gate for every 2 rows) confuses a lot of people and causes there to be empty seats on each train. The ride itself, though, is top tier.

This ride has a fantastic layout. The vertical lift and the slow drop make this a more compelling dive coaster than the B&M ones in my opinion. I love the pops of airtime throughout the ride. Also, this ride probably has the most comfortable trains out of any thrill coaster I have been on. The lap bars don't get in the way and don't squish you, and the retractable seatbelts are so much less of a hassle to use. The capacity is also a plus. Overall, this is a great coaster all around and I wish there were more of these in California.

This is my first Sky Rocket II and I thought it was pretty fun. The hangtime on the roll is the highlight of this ride, the train absolutely crawls through that roll. The biggest downsides are the capacity (being a shuttle coaster) and the comfort collars, which are really annoying.
