Front row at night was a great first experience of this ride. Really good launch, intense loop very smooth transitions. Not as rattly as hulk and zero headbanging. Lap bars would be even better than the harness for airtimes. But very re-rideable. I don’t think hulk is more intense just more uncomfortable! At the back you get some nice airtime after the MCBR.

Terrible operations at this park, and a bad smell of sewers/poo. But a nighttime front row ride provided a fun coaster with a very intense loop that nearly burst my eyeballs! At night the lighting of the terrain features could be better, to get that close-pass feeling maximised. I don’t love flyers because you struggle to crane your neck to look ahead. If you look straight down it’s just a blur. Not as good as manta. Way more intense than Galactica.

I was disappointed when the shoulder restraints came down, especially since they sat way above my shoulders, about level with my ear lobes. Then a countdown, and a launch. Bang! It’s got great thrust. Not as sustained or shocking as Stealth, but ahead of Mack launch coasters I’ve ridden (icon, blue fire even though I love those rides for their buttery smoothness), into a good tophat with some nice airtime and a forceful spiral decent with good positive G at the bottom before an excellent airtime hill where I left my seat every time I rode. Remaining elements are good with a couple of corkscrews (not my favourite feature, as with a barrel roll, they tend to just hang you from the restraint, with fairly neutral G) some nice helices and a couple more tiny pops of airtime, but the main event is over after that first airtime hill. After the brake run it’s just transport back to the station. Very enjoyable. Smooth ride, only a bit of rattle, and that restraint bumped my neck softly a couple of times and my ears only once. Due to a slight stack effect the second row affords a good view over the first. I would say that this is good enough to not queue for the front. Not the best ride in the park, not as good as some rave reviews, not a top 10. But a really good ride, and worth a trip.

I can barely fit in due to long legs. And it’s a typical, awful mouse. It’s not even so bad it’s good. I’m prejudiced against these rides because the travelling fair which comes to Newcastle has two of them. In general terms roller coasters shouldn’t come flatpack in trucks. I am in absolute disbelief that people are queuing what looks like 45-60 mins for this hunk of junk (I queue jumped for the tick, but don’t bother)

The ride is fast but not crazy and is powered rather than gravity driven. It speeds up or down certain hills, and vaguely responds to your throttle inputs. It’s very exposed and is reminiscent of Blackpool’s Steeplechase, although a much more modern version. The ride makes a cool noise which sounds not unlike a motorbike, and the way the tracks loop around each other makes for an excellent interactive feeling. If flows rather than thrills, although I’m sure it’s very boring compared to an actual Ducati, but the experience is unique and a lot of fun. So much so that I went back to guest services to ask to buy a single shot fast pass for it, to ride the other side. But no such thing exists, due to ride capacity, it would probably be sold out every day and prevent people being able to queue. Given that they already have certain experiences which are upgrades, they may consider this. It may be that the lousy reliability is part of the reason that they don’t. I really enjoyed it and will definitely ride it again when I come back to do the water rides. If it’s operating. I feel lucky to have got a great ride, given some of the other reviews

There is a separate front row queue which allows you to choose, and I approve of this. I choose front. Despite that slightly disappointing feeling of being held back past the pre-drop and the first few metres of the main hill, by the time you hit the bottom you are going FAST. The whole scale of this B&M seems bigger than others. It has less punch around the tight elements than say Montu which I felt was trying to pull my body apart in the cobra roll. But due to the high speed and fantastic interactions with the ground this is a truly excellent ride. Some genuinely scary leg choppers. It’s smooth and despite the OTSR I never had any discomfort. The first drop in the back rows is really top notch. You can’t appreciate the subsequent terrain in the same way, but it’s still an amazingly good ride. But the front row is next level for me. I did notice a scratch on my elbow and it wasn’t until later when I got a second one that I realised it was from the foliage near this ride. Get gardening Mirabilandia!

The back row is excellent for that added pop in the airtime sections. Just great fun! I would love to ride it at night during Halloween, when I bet it’s even better

The surprise on this really caught me by surprise! My first experience of such a ride was Hagrids in Orlando, and I had no idea that such a ride mechanism existed anywhere in the world. I was even more astounded to discover and experience this ride which was a decade older, and the first in the world. Not convinced it’s a family ride, too spooky!

Or maybe too much time waiting to unload while hanging face down, looking at piles of vomit from previous riders.

Impossible to queue for the front row, or even wait for front row, despite being a platinum pass holder. For me the experience anywhere else on an inverted coaster is at least a star below the front. In the middle seats, middle rows you can’t appreciate any leg choppers or the terrain interactions. It’s just like being whipped around in a tumble dryer, with stuff happening to you. Or happening at you. I believe Nemesis Reborn is the most over-rated coaster in the country, and possibly on the entire planet. And I know how outrageous some people will find that assertion. It’s fine. But it’s not Montu, or Katun, or even Nemesis Inferno.

What a little gem! We got on this because there was minimal queue, and to tick it off. It’s small, it’s out-and-back, it’s old, the capacity is poor. But wow! Brilliant airtime of each of the drops, both forward and backward. And that loop is so tight it packs a whole load of crushing positive Gs. All of which is delivered with surprising smoothness. It’s not the biggest and it’s not the fastest but it was genuinely one of the highlights of the park. Really lovely sensations. Top notch!

Clambering up a ladder which is moving and trying to predict the correct rung for when you eventually swing to horizontal does add a level of jeopardy I suppose, but what follows is both unthrilling and uncomfortable. Don’t even ride it for the tick, or for the novelty. I’ve done that so you don’t have to. You’re welcome.

Our first run (left, blue) was smoother than the second (right, purple), and I wouldn’t rush to lap it multiple times. But wonderful that it still exists and still provides the smiles. Maybe a few bruises too, but worth it… just!
