While the layout should allow this coaster to function as a... sort of b-tier euro-fighter, the harness/restraint are awful. They pin you in and in a way that makes the inversions and sharp turns hurt...

While the layout should allow this coaster to function as a... sort of b-tier euro-fighter, the harness/restraint are awful. They pin you in and in a way that makes the inversions and sharp turns hurt. It's an uncomfortable ride as it currently exists and in this case the negatives unfortunately distract enough to outweigh the positives

I don’t know of many of these models so it’s unique which is cool. First drop is cool but not very high so it’s over before you know it. Hang time is great but the shoulder restraints are really uncomfortable so have to knock off half a point for them.

This is my favorite one at the park. I'm a sucker for those S&S El Loco models and this one delivers. I never have an issue with the harness and feel like it's a pretty comfortable ride throughout the duration. The hangtime off a couple of inversions is so much fun. It does a great job of slowing down the ride at the perfect times so you can enjoy the hangtime. If this were sped up it would be way worse so the pacing is pretty much ideal. I've ridden this in the past but was afraid I wouldn't get to ride it this time because the reliability was awful that day. I was in line twice where I left the line the first time due to a breakdown and the second time I was asked for the line to completely leave because it would be down for a long time. The third time was a charm and I was fortunate to ride it. 3.5/5 stars

My first El Loco exceeded my expectations for it. It’s a smooth ride with lots of cool hangtime, and the last inversion blew me away. While a ride with those weird shoulder harnesses was never going to rank incredibly highly for me, I was more than satisfied with the experience.

There's definitely issues. The harness is uncomfortable, there's dead spots, and the capacity is a nightmare. However, the first drop is wild and has great airtime and the inversions give hangtime.

A real fun little coaster built around a more then 90 degree drop, unusual outer Banks and extended hang time. Does alot unique for a ride but nevertheless held back by it realibilty (it was down for 1/2 the day I was there), werid and hard to deal with harness and poor throughput

We rode this as soon as the park opened. I knew of the incredibly low capacity and slow moving lines, so we went there first thing. We were the first ones on it for the day. There was still no one at in the queue when we returned back that the station and we wanted to ride it again immediately. The attendants made us do the walk. We rode it twice and never went back. It was decent enough. The off camber / opposite banked turn wasn't as thrilling as I envisioned. Beyond that it just provided a decent little ride experience. Think of it a wild mouse on a mild steriod binge. Decent overall coaster. Excellent addition to the park.
