Racer 75 is a fun, classic wooden coaster that still delivers an enjoyable ride despite age. While it may not be the most intense ride in the park, it offers a solid mix of classic wooden coaster elements. One of the highlights of Racer 75 is its airtime. The ride features several hills that provide nice pops of floater, especially in the back. The double down in the second half of the ride is particularly exciting. However, the ride does have a noticeable rattle, which can make the experience a bit rough, especially toward the back of the train. While it’s not unbearably rough, it’s something to remember if you’re sensitive to wooden coaster shakiness. Overall, Racer 75 is a fun, nostalgic ride that is still a solid supporting coaster at Kings Dominion. It’s not the smoothest wooden coaster out there, but its airtime and classic racing aspect make it worth a ride.

I'm not a huge fan of the laterals on the turnaround, but they aren't uncomfortable. 6/10 - the other side was the first "big kid" coaster I ever did so thanks Dad

There wasn't a noticeable difference between either side except this one won both times so I'll post the same review: "I enjoyed both sides of this dueling coaster. The park had a decent crowd during my time there but I was still surprised they put in the effort to run both sides. Not only did they run both sides but they were very consistent in dispatching at the same time so I got races on both tracks. The airtime on this is fairly decent for its size. I also enjoyed having somewhat loose restrains to enjoy the airtime it provides. You shouldn't expect a lot of airtime but it's still an above-average wooden coaster from the list I've experienced. I also got to give it a pro for capacity since running both trains will keep the lines moving so quickly. I did not have to wait for any additional runs with it being a walk-on both times. Both times the blue side (North) won so I'm not sure if that's the case every time but if you want to win maybe avoid the red side! 3/5 stars"

I'm starting to realize that I actually enjoy wooden coasters, after my awful experience on the janky transitions of InvadR at BGW and the roughness of Hurler at Carowinds. This one was quite smooth (for a woody, anyway, no-one's going to be confusing this with a B&M) and had a bunch of gentle but still very enjoyable floater airtime in the front. The back gets stronger floater airtime except during the drop after the second turnaround, which gives a brief but glorious ejector pop. (I recommend the middle row of the back car to avoid wheel seats.) The loose PTC lapbars make the airtime quite enjoyable. (I'm actually skinny enough that if I staple myself hard, I can get the lapbar into its fully-lowered position. This kills the airtime. I do not recommend.) My only real complaints are that it could stand to be longer and that the tunnel at the end is extremely loud. I didn't find any noticeable difference in ride quality between the tracks.

This coaster’s layout was designed with airtime in mind, so getting 3 rides on this side in the back row with floater at best was a bit of a letdown. That aside, the ride is very fun and pretty smooth.

This is a classic wooden coaster with enough pure fun factor to stand the test of time, even if it's a little on the mediocre side.
