I get that Disney prefers heavy theming & building a full experience, but this leans way too heavily into the theming aspect. They could have pulled back from that for the 2nd launch, and did it Big Bear style so that you actually get some speed, instead of stopping so an audio piece can play then accelerating slower than Copperhead Strike. Mack really needs to step up their game on their launches, just based on their ones I've ridden. Theming is elite, though.

It's a nice family coaster from MACK, can't score it much higher than this, because it really isn't the kind of ride I personally enjoy the most (it's very family oriented, and honestly a bit sluggish. Don't come in expecting a thrilling MACK Launch Coaster or even something like Manta @ SWSD), but it's still better than most other roller coasters at the Disney Orlando parks, in my humblest of opinions.

When I most recently rode it, I requested to sit in the very back and it Improves the ride tenfold. Getting a front seat makes this ride just a dissapointment.

Cool line. Definetely a fun, family friendly rollercoaster. Nice theme and fun. I like the crazier rollercoasters better, though. I wouldn't wait more than 55 minutes for it, though I think children ...

A fun ride brilliantly themed and perfect for a wide range of ages! Providing a thrill with incredibly detailed theming. However, the long queues are unhelpful. The ride itself is very smooth and provides some lovely little airtime moments. The trains are a personal favourite and it is a fun all around ride.

Slinky Dog Dash est un coaster très grand public, autant le savoir d'avance afin d'éviter d'être déçu. Cela étant dit, j'ai tout de même été agréablement surpris pas l'expérience. La file d'attente et la zone sont très bien décorées dans la thématique Toy Story. On a droit à deux launch (assez mous), dont le deuxième est même mis en scène. La parcours est fluide et varié. Le débit est plutôt bon malgré que les hordes de gens peuvent vite faire grimper les temps d'attente. On pourrait regretter que les bosses à airtimes n'en procurent aucun. Les enfants adoreront, les adultes peut-être pas mais cela reste une attraction amusante.

This was a really nice surprise and a wonderful family coaster experience. It's relatively smooth, has some modest launch elements that get the tingles and heart-rate going just enough to be entertaining...and while it won't rank with my Steel Vengeance and Velocicoaster experiences, it truly is a lovely ride with great theming that is accessible to a wide range or riders. My wife and daughter both loved it too!

This ride is accessible for all ages, and it is not an unpleasant ride! The queue is very well integrated into the toy story land, and the ride is presented very well. It's incredibly smooth, and it's full of fun sound effects, Pixar easter eggs, and even plenty of voiced characters! The ride is also very accommodating. Even though the height requirement is only 38 inches, it allows for plenty of leg room.

I absolutely love the theming of this ride, I’m a sucker for Toy Story and the Toy Story Mania queue across the way is one of my favorite queues in the world. I also was overjoyed by the animatronic at the end. Unfortunately though the first launch is really lame - why even have a launch that only goes to 20 mph? Second one is fun though and overall it’s just a fun little family coaster. Definitely fits into the park and land beautifully!

This ride pleasantly surprised me. I was expecting a typical kiddie coaster, but Slinky Dog is definitely a family coaster, and one of the best Disney has to offer. Both the main hills offer great views of Hollywood Studios, and the mid course launch is a nice which keeps you engaged. I really liked this ride and would definitely ride again.

The launches are weak but good for a beginner wanting to try out a launch coaster without an intense launch like rock n rollercoaster in the same park. It is a fun ride, its just the layout does nothing. I wish the bunny hops near the end atleast had slight airtiem but they have nothing.

We got the back for my first ride and the launch is boring as can be. I have only been on one other launch coaster and this was just purely stupid compared to that one. Then the rattle kicked in. It wasn’t that bad but it was noticeable and not how a four year coaster should be riding. The near misses are fun but doesn’t have any force at all, and the most wasted potential on a coaster I’ve ever been. Those bunny hops give no air and the train crawls through them would’ve rather had some more turns 1st half is definitely surperior. My rating would be higher if wheezy was working (sorry I just really like penguins)

I haven't ridden Slinky Dog since 2018, but what I remember was a smooth, fun, graceful ride with great restraints. It's a little short, and people say it has a rattle these days but I dunno. I should also add that the theming is outstanding. All in all, it's a great family coaster.

Moins d’attente pour rise of the resistance. Disney semble donc sous dimensionner l’entièreté de ses toy story lands. Absence totale de sensation, même pour du familial c’est une grosse arnaque. I don't know if it was due to the surprise this ride gave but this coaster feels just on the shorter side. But because of how well themed and the fun launches and layout its fine to be on the shorter side. So yes I would say that if you head over to Toy Story land definitely go ride slinky dog dash but be aware that the line for this ride can get pretty crazy.
