Python est vraiment très fluide, il n’y a pas à dire Efteling a fait du très beau boulot avec ce retrack… Cependant, je le trouve beaucoup trop sage, surtout en le comparant avec cette antiquité qu’est Euroloop. Je trouve que tout ce qui faisait le charme de ces machines a été oublié avec cette nouvelle version de Python. Les loopings qui comprimaient autrefois ? On les desserre ! La bosse bien vicelarde avant les corkscrews ? On la lisse ! La dernière helix, pas assez inclinée, qui procurait de légers latéraux tout du long ? On la recalcule ! Ce que je veux dire par là, c’est qu’à trop vouloir être parfait, Python s’est perdu : il n’a plus ce qui faisait de lui un looper honorable pour l’époque. Évidemment, il est à nouveau aux standards de confort modernes… mais à quel prix ? Pour ma part, je trouve ça sympathique, mais clairement moins intéressant qu’Euroloop, malgré son inconfort prononcé ou même par rapport a tout les autres MK1200 que j'ai pu tester

I think CSM did a great job retracking Python from 1st valley to brakes, it seemed really needed. Python is now way smoother than it was before and this allows people to enjoy the forces of those inversions again, which I think is way better than just tearing this icon down. To be fair with you I didn't expect to like Python this much, I expected it to be boring actually, but that turned out to be the opposite.

On sort de Python avec un léger sentiment d'indiférence. Le retrack fonctionne bien ce qui nous permet d'apprécier dans un certain confort, un parcours qui n'a pas grand chose à offrir. On en garde pas un mauvais souvenir, mais il n'est de loin pas certain que je retourne dessus lors de ma prochaine visite à Efteling.

An absolute classic and my first looping coaster, its actually quite a great looking coaster in a really nice area in the park. And after all these years it still has a soft spot for me and still brings me a lot of fun. The loops and helices all consistently make me grey out and the drop is honestly quite fun. The retrack also made it one of the smoothest coasters ever. Just a great fun ride all around.

Python est un coaster très fluide (merci le retrack). Après il faut aimer les G+, car même si on n'est pas encore au niveau de Black Mamba, on est quand même bien plaqué dans notre siège et les inversions sont assez intenses. Maintenant oui le layout n'est pas fou, ça reste un vieux looper Vekoma, mais je suis content que le parc ait choisi de conserver cette pièce de leur histoire et de l'entretenir comme il fallait. On pourra aussi lui reprocher un manque de thématisation par rapport au reste du parc.

Il n'y a pas vraiment d'intérêt, c'est court comme souvent à Efteling, mais il a le mérite d'être beau et de ne pas faire mal grâce au retrack. Dommage que le parc n'ai pas profité de la réhab de 2018...

Nous pouvons quand même souligner un manque de thématisation de cette attraction comparé à l’ensemble du parc. Le coaster reste toutefois sympathique à rider .

La seule attraction non thématisée du parc donc on se demande vraiment ce que ça fout là. Même vu de haut en fait on voit ce gros truc en metal blanc qui semble totalement hors-propos et c'est dommage...

Python is a fun old Vekoma looper. The new trains with vest restraints eliminate any headbanging and the retrack made it super smooth and made adjustments to the banking so that the transitions are smoother. The first drop has a really good pop of airtime in the back and is followed by two intense back to back loops. They made me grey out every time in the back car. They are a bit less intense in the front but you still feel relatively similar forces (without the grey out). The transition after that has a pop of airtime and is glossy smooth. The double corkscrews almost feel like B&M corkscrews with the faster transition down the middle. The helix is also really intense and just pure fun. Python is honestly better than Baron 1898 in my opinion. It has a better drop than Baron's (at least from my experience), better positive G forces and a more straight to the point layout. I think that layout wise, Python does what Baron 1898 does but better. The only department where Baron absolutely dominates Python is theming. Python barely has any theming, which seems to be the norm for these old Vekoma MK-1200 coasters. All in all, Python is my 2nd (or 3rd, depends on how you count it) favorite coaster at Efteling, behind Joris en de Draak.

The new Vekoma-trains with the improved harness adds for a more pleasant ride experience. The loops and corkscrews has good intensity and G-forces. The theming is basic.

The coaster is also smooth wich was a big surprise for me because I thought it was an old Vekoma, I didn't know they retracked it a couple years ago. Also a thing I was surprised by was that there was no theming. Efteling is known for making everything look magical and here it just feels like a Six Flags park. If they add theming and a story it would only be better.

Python est un coaster mythique mais le rider ne m'aura pas laisser un souvenir impérissable, certes avec son retrack il est super smooth mais pour ce qui est du layout et des sensations ça reste un vieux looper, les inversions passent bien, les looping son intenses mais ça se limite à ça, hors des inversions on s'ennuie un peu et surtout le lift dure des plombes. Autre point faible, même si il présente plutôt bien, niveau théma et intégration c'est assez loin des standard d'Efteling. Objectivement ça reste un bon coaster et je n'ai pas passé un mauvais moment dedans mais ça reste sans grand intérêt à mes yeux et j'ai préféré me tourner vers le reste de l'offre du parc.

It's a classic coaster with two tiny loops. Not exactly my favorite element, as they mainly make me dizzy and hurt my neck without adding any enjoyment. Despite running much smoother than one would expect from a coaster this old, it still feels very dated. A park like Efteling should really have higher standards and replace it with something more modern.

A rare occurrence for Efteling where the theming should have been better although not totally devoid.
