I’m being completely serious, this has the worst operations in the park. Even with a boomerang on one train, the incredibly slow throughput of Fahrenheit and Laff Trakk, and the triple stacking on CandyMonium, this somehow has the worst operations. I do recommend this ride though. The ride itself is awesome. They had little land to work with here so a lot of the layout is very unconventional, like the (very forceful) helix before the drop, the straight track before and after the corkscrew. This ride is super forceful and has 4 awesome inversions, especially that zero-g roll which gives incredible whip. Great ride but terrible ops.

Great Bear is a BM suspended coaster that is very comfortable and smooth. The layout is fun and I love the roar the ride makes as it barrels down hills and through turns. The loop over the pond is great and the inversions are buttery smooth. I just wish the ride had more inversions and lasted longer. This ride usually doesn’t have too bad of lines either

This is a fantastic and unique inverted coaster due to its location on Kissing Tower Hill diving into the Hollow. Each of the inversions is extremely powerful and whips you through them. The location of this coaster makes it more special then others due to how it goes over and under other rides as well. Overall this is a good coaster with powerful inversions but it doesn’t have any special moments of craziness which I prefer in my coasters. Also the ending is dumb but thats the price for its location. Overall just a solid coaster that almost everyone who goes on it loves. This is easily one of the GP favorites at Hershey.

If I could add a third pro, it would be capacity. This coaster is great! The last ride I’ve had on it, was the best it’s ever been! I got to ride it in the rain, and it felt like it was moving a little faster than usual through the inversions! Usually I don’t rate this above Fahrenheit, but the last ride I had on it easily puts it in top 3 in Hersheypark. There is a little head banging through 2 of the inversions, but it’s not that bad and is pretty tolerable. I would say though, you have to ride in the front. It’s not worth the wait if you don’t.

Un inverted bien différent de ses frères par ça disposition mais aussi le moins convaincant niveau layout. Malgré de bon passage comme celui du début avec l'helix en hauteur et la drop ou le Zero G Roll. Il y a trop peut d'éléments présent et tous entrecoupé de ligne droite ou de grand virage. Ajouter a ça le fais qu'il ne soit pas si intense et ça donne un inverted assez oubliable. On soulignera quand même que l'ensemble du coaster est parfaitement fluide et confortable !

Nothing special but really not a bad ride. Got some really nice leg-chopper moments and it interacts nicely with the surrounding environment and scenery. It does have some nice intense inversions and the zero g roll is really nice. however I am not a huge fan of the corkscrew, I throw my head into the restraint but I also am short so not a problem for taller riders. overall solid coaster but when you are at Hershey Park it feels kind of lame.

Last time I rode this, I thought this was just a forceless invert, which I was shocked that could happen. But now that I have ridden this again, I was surprised. It was way more forceful than the last time I rode it. I got whipped by the track, and I got good hang time.

Great Bear sort de l’ordinaire suite à sa situation dans le parc car oui les ingénieurs ont du, malgré le manque de place, créer un layout s’intégrant au reste du parc passant à travers les allées du parc et au dessus de l’eau. J’oublie bien sûr ses élément pris à pleine vitesse comme ce looping qui vous rappelle que la machine est inénarrable ou encore cet immelman, ce zéro G à la fois planant et intense sans parler de ce dernier corkscrew bien puissant pour finir en beauté ce ride peut commun.

While it is still a great ride, this is my least favorite B&M Hyper of the 4 I've done. The first drop is pretty fun and unique for any coaster. The loop itself is fun. The immelmann isn't anything special. Zero-g roll and corkscrew are, as always, fun moments. There were multiple other moments that went over water that were nice, but they didn't do anything. I was hoping for something more but I didn't get it. Still, the inversions are great like any invert and the ride is still worthy of 4 stars.

Great Bear is a very solid B&M floorless by every definition. Long layout, whippy inversions, and smooth as silk. My only gripe is it’s not as forceful as other coasters of its type, but I rode Great Bear in the dark and that delivered some added intensity not seeing the track in front of you. A perfectly good coaster that is made great with a night ride.

A solid B&M invert with a somewhat unique layout. It's the first one I've ever ridden that doesn't start with a big first drop but rather a small curve into the much larger one. This is a pretty cool way to introduce the layout and build anticipation. It also felt like a very long duration from the other ones I've ridden. The speed on this one doesn't seem as quick as the Batman's and definitely less whippy. I also experienced a moment of headbanging which I'm not used to on any other B&M invert. Capacity is always outstanding on these though and give very short lines no matter how packed the park is on that day. I would definitely like to ride it again one day. 4/5 stars

You know, they don't lie when they say it's great. I've been on two inverts, Raptor and this, and without a doubt, this is way better. Unlike Raptor which is rough, nauseating, and kinda intense, Great Bear is buttery smooth, enjoyable, and very intense. Or at least, you can actually appreciate the intensity. Not to mention, this ride is beautiful with its beautiful setting. My only problem is that the ride is a bit short, other than that, this ride is great! Definitely one of the best B&M coasters.

Great Bear has always been one of my favorite B&M inverted coasters and I honestly think it is EXTREMELY underrated. First off this thing has one of the most unique layouts and first drops I've ever seen. I mean it basically has 2 drops. Second when this thing is going it hauls and boy do you hear it. It might be one of the loudest coasters I've ever heard. This is also the smoothest B&M inverted coaster I have ever been on, highly recommend.

Great bear is amazing, my favorite coaster. The first drop is unique, and the helix is insanely forceful, I was seeing grey. The setting on the hill is rivaled only by alpengiest and nemesis. the vert...

Great bear is amazing, my favorite coaster. The first drop is unique, and the helix is insanely forceful, I was seeing grey. The setting on the hill is rivaled only by alpengiest and nemesis. the vertical loop is insanely forceful, and so is the Immelmann. The exit to the Immelmann is too snappy, and I’m small, so you headband on the exit, the zero g roll is amazing, you are whipped through it, but that causes head banging too, the final inversion, the wing over is my favorite, despite the headbang midway through, this inversion is super forceful, combining this with the setting causes an underrated invert, and yes, it does rattle, but it’s like sleeping against the side of a school bus, it doesn’t cause pain, it’s just there, and skyrush is worse. Overall 5/5,
