After riding the other Mr Freeze in Texas I was excited to get on this one and it was very similar. The back seat going backwards is my favorite seat with those wonderful high views on the spike. I did get a little rattle on this unlike the Texas one and overall thought it was a bit rough or harsh. It’s still the best coaster in the park but only because the big wood coasters are in so poor a state due to neglect.

Great ride, was running at day during our visit with short lines. Great use of space on the small island that the River Raft ride encircles. Only improvement would be to run one train forward and the other backward, like at the SF in Arlington. I don't know if they normally do that in St Louis but when we visited the only option was backward first (which I do prefer but it's great to ride both ways)

This is my favorite in the park when it’s not closed. This coaster is fantastic don’t get my wrong, but it is a bit rough, nothing horrible and it’s not something you will think about after the ride but if you ride it as much as I do you will notice. Some thing a I enjoy is the fact that the lights in the launch tunnel are weird for me freeze but I much rather have them then not. You might of realized i put hang time as a pro and that’s because on the inverted top hat if your in the middle you hang there for a good amount of time and you can really see it if your in the back. Also if you ride this ride, ride in the back because as you get pulled up the spike and you deal as if your about to fall out of your seat you go so high and it seems like 3x higher on the ride then off. Also the intensity is underrated as this coaster is wild you start off with a crazy launch BACKWARDS! Then you go through a crazy inverted top hat with like I said hang time then that spike makes you think your about to fall out of the seat with the lap bar to. And then you do it again! That’s why this is my favorite coaster at the park but it’s always closed.

When this was new it had OTSR's that sucked out loud. They switched to just lapbars forever ago and it has been great ever since. Then they turned it around several years ago and now run the trains backwards. The reverse launch is pretty awesome. It is intense and super unique being backwards. You go from dark to bright daylight and can't see anything until you are upside down in the tophat. It has been very reliable over the years. The two train operation keeps people moving through the line pretty well. Overall a very exciting and excellent coaster. Update: I just re-rode Mr. Freeze this past weekend. It forgot how intense this thing is. The launch is actually the least intense part. The tophat is great, in both directions. Some of the intensity may be on accident as it tosses you around a bit, but I loved it. After all these years, it is still a very, very good coaster that continues to deliver.

This is by far the best coaster in the park, which makes it too bad that it’s so short. That 0-70 in 3.8 is a rush of adrenaline, but the vertical spike on this coaster is the crown jewel of the ride experience. Gravity begins to take you up the spike just as the LIMs kick in to pull you vertical the rest of the way. Then, you go through the layout facing forwards. I think the inside top hat element on the way back to the station is also a great moment for some hang time, which packs a punch as well. My only complaints here is the size of the trains/lap bars, and the fact that this coaster is less than a minute from launch to unload.

What an intense coaster. The launch is a bit tame compared to others I've experienced but going backward makes it way more thrilling. The really intense part is the first top hat, especially in the back row. I've never felt something like that before. It's quite disorienting but in a very good way. The final vertical spike has some insane hangtime and intensity. The momentum keeps going with the assistance of the magnet to pull you quite high at the top. Then you hit the actual drop doing everything forward and it feels like you get a brand new experience the other way around. I can't say enough good things about it. Although short, it's well worth the wait. 4.5/5 stars

it is fun, the launch is fun, the lapbar is great quality, but the layout is extremely short and its a bit lame, the inverted tophat makes my head feel like its gonna explode, and its not to intense, Wait, is that the vertical spike I see? Amazing! The launch on the spike making it go higher for a way less lame drop? Amazing! Let me just say it, its a fine coaster but the spike is truely a masterpiece of an element.

Mr freeze is definitely not the longest ride out there but what it has is amazing. The backwards launch out of the station pulls you forward and it’s insane. All of the valleys and overbank gave short bursts of crushing positives. The spike is very fun as you get pushed towards the ground when you get launched upwards and get great floater the whole way down. Then the inverted top hat gives weird airtime and lateral forces going in and out of it and good hangtime going through it forwards. Overall mr freeze is my favorite coaster at SFSTL and an insane ride.

This is way better than the SFOT version. Out by itself surrounded by the Rapids, with a themed queue and blue track, this is the best steel coaster at SF St. Louis. Backwards launch, intense top hat, and a stupid fun ride experience that I hope sticks around.

Premier did a good job with this one. The launch is pretty intense and fun and the short layout is super intense as well. The ride features so,e decent theming that is definitely above six flags standard. I’m not a fan of the trains however. They are very tight and the lap bars are very bulky.
