This my favorite Vekoma family boomerang. The layout isn't spectacular aside from the fly-through Hals über Kopf's station which makes for great visuals fom on and off ride. What makes this ride even more special is the great theming. Usually Vekoma boomerangs aren't themed that well and even Raik at phantasialand isn't themed as good in my opinion. The train design was done beautifully and the station ist perfect for the "Schwäbsche Eisenbahn" theme. The ride layout is surrounded by beautiful landscaping although the foliage around definitely is too near for clearance and you can easily touch the leaves of some of the trees. No idea why they planted them this near to the coaster but O assume they'll have remove them when they grow.

    Chef d'oeuvre Intensité Ejectors

How! In the name of heaven! Do some people say this ride is "overrated" or "not worthy of being number 1". Dude, how could you not say that THIS is the greatest roller coaster ever built! I know this ride is widely considered the best coaster ever, but Steel Vengeance is WAY more than that! Steel Vengeance has pretty much everything you want in a coaster. Airtime? Check! Intensity? Check! Amazing first drop? Check! Airtime? Check! Lap Bars? Check! Airtime? Check! Smoothness? Check! Wait, and did I forget to mention airtime? Also, unlike other coasters which can be underwhelming in certain rows, or during different times of the day, this ride is amazing no matter where you ride or when you ride. I never rode Mean Streak, but I'm extremely satisfied with this. All in all, Steel Vengeance! IS AN ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE!

Lap Bar Chef d'oeuvre Ejectors Trop court

Holy crap! This coaster is TOO GOOD for my home park! Kennywood's biggest coaster should be like a tiny B&M Standup, but no, it's this absolute masterpiece. Phantom's Revenge is one of the very few roller coasters that actually scares me. Why? The finale with the lap bars. These lap bars don't even touch your lap, you can only hold on to them. You NEED to hold on to them though on that finale. My gosh, the airtime you get is actually terrifying. Not to mention, the ride is buttery smooth and has an amazing setting. This ride is also extremely fast-paced and exhilarating. My only complaint is that it is a bit too short, I feel it could be a bit longer. I never rode Steel Phantom, although I'm happy with this. Overall, Phantom's Revenge is a masterpiece that can't be missed!

While I am not a big fan of the model in general, Volldampf is definitely my favourite of the Vekoma Family Boomerangs so far. There is just so much attention to detail. Tripsdrill really pushed this small coaster to the maximum with the fantastic theming. Train and station are beautiful and the landscaping (mind the storks!) with the interaction with Hals über Kopf really make it a nice experience. Best thing is the absence of those terrible shinguards they have on e.g. Raik!

    Inversions Launch Vibrations Temps mort

Karacho is a very interesting Gerstlauer Infinity Coaster. The first part inside the building comes by surprise with a great launch that catapults you into the top hat with some nice airtime an laterals. After that follows some kind of inverted top hat with good hangtime and some exciting visuals. Unfortunately the ride eases up after that and all the elements before the final two inversions are a little boring. This is also the part of the ride that has a significant rattle and a few bumps. However the final inversions are great. The diveloop has some incredible whip and the subsequent corkscrew makes for a final finale. Then there is a weird "bump" into the brakes. Theming on this ride is good as well with a unique and funny story-line and a highlight prop right at the exit of the ride. In my opinion this is the best ride at Tripsdrill because of its intensity. Even though Hals über Kopf feels more complete it doesn't make the top spot because it lacks some intensity and is more oriented towards families. Both are great rides and I highly recommend visiting Tripsdrill when you're in the area!

    Launch Vitesse Intensité Vibrations

Hersheypark is packed with great coasters like Skyrush, Candymonium, Fahrenheit, Great Bear, and more. Storm Runner is absolutely no exception. This is another coaster that really gets my blood rushing. Why? The hydraulic launch. Top Thrill Dragster may be gone, but Storm Runner still delivers one hecking awesome launch. After a tophat with good airtime and good views, you then dive down into all these crazy inversions and twists. Storm Runner is very fast-paced and relentless, almost the precursor to Maverick. My only problem with this ride is that it is indeed a bit rough. Nothing painful, just very rattly. Overall, Storm Runner is another awesome coaster at Hersheypark that shouldn't be missed when going.

First Drop Bonne suprise ! Ejectors Vibrations Lap Bar

Wow! This ride is absolutely awesome! I'll admit, on my first ride I was a little nervous due to its steepness and what I heard about the restraints, but it didn't disappoint one bit. In fact, Skyrush blew me away! Right off the bat, this is one of the very few coasters to actually scare me. Going up the cable lift so quickly and then diving down that drop is truly pants-crapping. In fact, only Top Thrill Dragster's launch and Phantom's Revenge's final bunny hills are the only things that can match this. After that drop, you are filled with ejector filled hills at very high speeds, in a beautiful setting. The only things I don't like about Skyrush are that its restraints are a little uncomfortable, mainly on the final brakes, and the ride does have a rattle on that drop, though the rest of the ride is very smooth. All in all, Skyrush is one the greatest rides I've ever experienced, it is the best coaster at Hersheypark, and it can't be missed!

The first Gerstlauer coaster is a nice upgrade for classic family coasters. The ride offers some classic wild mouse elements but spices the ride up with some more unconventional twist and turns. Overall a great ride and more diverse than your classic Mack mouse

    Inversions Confort Fun Airtimes Intensité

Hals über Kopf is a fun New Gen Vekoma Thrillcoaster for the whole family. While first row was super smooth, I have to admit that there is a light shake at least in the back rows. I did my first three rides in last and second-to-last row and liked it better with every round. But the last ride in the evening and in front row finally convinced me of the rides qualities. The first drop is definitely more intense in the back but all the rest had more punch in the front. My highlights are the zero-g-roll right after the drop and the overbank turn towards the end. I would add Intensity and Airtimes as cons as there is not much of both overall. There are some mildly forceful moments like a helix pulling positives and some moments of floater airtime throughout the ride. To sum it up, it is a very fun ride and perfect fit for a family focused park like Tripsdrill.
