I have ridden a lot of roller coasters over the years, including jewels such as Taron, Helix, Zadra and Untamed, but after haven ridden F.L.Y. a total of eight times, including a breathtaking front row seat at night... this takes the crown for me as being my number 1 coaster. It's simply astounding! I realise a lot of people would prefer a coaster to be ridiculously intense, forceful and airtime heavy to make it their number one, but for me, F.L.Y. is the first and only coaster I have ridden which has nailed itself on the "complete package", top-to-bottom. This coaster is very long, it's beautifully smooth, has great airtime moments and is actually quite intense in a few places (especially on the back seats). The seats themselves I found to be quite forgiving as a chunky guy, more than a B&M flyer I found and given the way you sit down, when you are in the flying position, you feel far more exposed as you fly round the track (in a great way!) compared to other flying coasters. But the best part about F.L.Y. is the fact the whole experience is unlike anything else out there in the world - Rookburgh is phenomenal, the interaction with theming is stunning, the soundtrack is beautiful and at night, this coaster is something truly special. I strongly urge readers to try this coaster at night on the front row! It's not often a coaster makes me feel euphoric, but F.L.Y. has done exactly that. To me, this is my perfect coaster and just proves you don't need to be the tallest, fastest or most intense to be the best!

Amazing ride that will leave you wondering what the hell just happened after the first ride. Is perfect for rerides since every ride is a different experience because of the spinning. I personnaly found the ride the best in the back car, especially the 1st drop and the snake dive.

Airtimes First Drop Fun
Diamondback is by far one of the best hyper coasters out there with a fantastic drop, beautiful setting, and strong airtime, and some intense moments! During my first visit to Kings Island in September 2021, I was able to get two rides in total with one being in row 13 and my second ride in the front row. I personally prefer the front row because you feel the air and the wind more than towards the back. This thing is an airtime machine! Every single hill gives super strong and sustained floater air, especially the first camelback which actually gives 5-second sustained flojector airtime and also feels similar to Candymonium’s first camelback. The helixes on this ride were also really intense, as both of them made me gray out! I also grayed out on the hammerhead turn as the train was entering and exiting the element. That turn also felt a bit snappy towards the back row! My favorite part of the ride is probably the first drop because of how good the airtime is on that drop! If you sit towards the front of the train, you go flying as you get the strong sustained floater air but if you sit in the back of the train, you just get ejected out of your seat as you just go flying! I also really like the splashdown effect towards the end of the ride, which adds some great scenery to the ride and also adds on to the experience in general. Overall, Diamondback is one airtime machine and by far one of the best hyper coasters out there with a fantastic drop, beautiful setting, and strong airtime, and some intense moments!
