Steel Force is what I would consider to be Dorney Park's best ride. Sure, Talon has the inversions, but this has airtime, good airtime. The only thing that keeps it away from my top 75 of all time is that nasty brake run. It limits you from feeling the killer airtime on those hills with only a lap bar to keep to safe. The helix has a nice location and a cool headchopper illusion at the end of it, which is very thrilling. People say it's an upgrade from Magnum XL-200 at Cedar Point, and it's true. It's smoother, giving a more comfy ride. With Magnum, you get good airtime on the little hills back into the brakes since you only have the Arrow lap bar, which is smaller than the Morgan lap bar. When I look at Steel Force, I say to myself, "Holy crap, Thunderhawk looks like a kiddy coaster compared to this." It's that one ride that kids will want to stay away from it for a while after taking their first ride on it, and just start walking to something like Wild Mouse. But overall, it's an amazing coaster, just turn off those mid-course brake run and it will be a top 75 coaster for any enthusiast. In my top 100 of all time, this ranks #92.

This is the star of Heide Park. It has one of the best first drops I’ve ever experienced and I could feel myself coming loose from my seat on the subsequent air time hills. The ride has been refurbished and I’ve never been on this ride before the refurbishment, so I can’t compare, but it was very smooth, no rattling or jerking. It’s also a very long ride, but it didn’t bore me for a second. The theming of the Colossos ripping the track apart looks impressive. There are fire, smoke and sound effects every time a train passes through the head, which look beautiful. The soundtrack also adds a very menacing atmosphere to the queue. If I would have to name one con it would be the theming of the train station. They have some strings of lights wrapped around the pillars, but it just looks a bit unfinished. You can clearly see the cables and it kind of looks like something I can buy in a store around the corner.

The launch is surprisingly forceful and fun, but the rest of the ride is just less intense than I'd expect considering that launch, even for a family ride. The delta E of the entire ride is probably less than 2m. The theming and layout is really interesting. You can't tell from videos because it's black, but the train actually returns to the station, and the second half is the same layout done with the train backwards but the layout still forwards (and of course with all the lights on!)

This ride definitely isn't just a gimmick, but it is also clearly designed around the location/aesthetic. The first drop is no joke. Both of the turns that come off from the top of the building are snappy and fun. both of the stretches on top of the building are dead, though. I want to give it more points for the location, but it's actually pretty speedy, so you don't have a ton of time high up to look around. I wish it had something like the infamous turnaround on fujiyama to give you a good all-round view of the cityscape. I expected the restraints to be uncomfortable due to the plastic sheets, but they had no effect on comfort; restraints are totally fine.

After the first drop I was just praying for it to end and I’m an atheist. The rattling and headbanging was so bad I was disoriented for most of the ride, so I couldn’t even tell when the torture would end.
Never will I be this stubborn again. After this horrible ride I've decided that I will never, ever, ride a Vekoma SLC ever again.

A very enjoyable ride. My only complaint would be some rattle when you’re riding in the back seats. Going through some of the elements in the back seats, I could sometimes feel a rough jerk as the front of the train would pick up the pace, pulling the rest of the train along. When I was seated more to the front I experienced almost no rattle or jerking. The first drop is a lot of fun and I loved riding this coaster over and over again to experience it from different sides and seats.
