    Inconfort Sans intérêt Temps mort

The first drop is as steep as the chain lift - that says enough. The way it just creeps over the first hill is just plain boring. Other interesting things to mention is that this is the first time I complain about being half deaf leaving a coaster, it is loud...I am really LOUD.

  • Koen

Nice family coaster and unique layout with suprising elements. My tip: take the front seat.

    Trop court Sans intérêt

Compared the German rodelbahsn this one is one of the silliest ones. You do not enter the cart from ground level and lifted along the lift hill, no you have to climb a load of stairs instead. Sitting on the lift hill itself gives a part of the experience and view which is taken away. The ride is plain, no hand brakes, short and boring.

    Inversions Théma Inconfort

The look is comparable with a car with zero options. No colour, no decent station, no decoration. Just straight imported from Expoland and done. Yet, they have done their effort to get a decent inverted B&M in such park. Still love the deep roar and swoosh sound of the B&M coaster. It sounds very mighty. The ride itself is ok for me, not my favourite elements but I can appreciate it. The first drop has a weird lateral push and after that goes into the first inversion or looping. All other elements and inversions are quite snappy. I loved the helix at the end which is also quite long.

    Confort Intensité Fluidité

The first drop is quite good and gives the right pace throughout the ride. Especially in the rear it makes a good difference. And especially considering its drop height. For me it stands out with its helixes and gave some decent force. After 4-5 rides in a row it got me even dizzy too. This proves it can create some decent forces despite its rather compact layout and drop with tight and overbanked curves.

    First Drop Vitesse Chef d'oeuvre

RMC (with Vekoma in EU) I love you. The sheer looks of this coaster is a dragon, period. Fine engineering at its peak. Beside the insanely long queue with loudspeakers that play so loud you might be deaf on both sides, it hypes you up for what's coming. And before we get to the ride experience some crucial information: ride it at the end of the day in the rear. Its a difference between day and night. The climb together with the chain and clicking sound from the anti-rollback security already makes you nervous as hell. Once you get pulled over to the first drop followed by head choppers it is just non stop relentless ride that tosses you around as a ragdoll. Every single angle, tilt and torsion in the track is there to never let you rest and honestly I can't tell any dead spot. It made me yell of joy throughout the ride. As with RMC its as smooth as butter and you can tell that with the speed it hits the brake run. This is my number one coaster.

    Vibrations Inconfort

Can confirm what the review say. Its not just the discomfort, there are elements in the ride that I could not even think of how unlogical it is. The spinning part was a nice suprise though...

  • Koen

That elevator is something else. I was scared as it tilts the boat slightly left anf right while ascending. Though it was not so warm we decided to ride it and the first drop despite being a low angle it build up the speed well. Depending on the weight distribution and which row you sit, you get soaked.

    Airtimes First Drop Ejectors Vibrations

Oh yeah, what-a-beast! The lay out is truly impressive when you arrive at the park. The queue is long as in barely any shortcut for off peak days but at least well themed compared to the rest of the park. Great train with restraints. I highly recommend the middle two seats where your feet are off the ground. And here comes the only downside, do not take the outer seats especially in the rear. It takes most of the joy away from the ride and the sway is very noticable there, It gave me headaches big time. The first drop is the best I have every experienced. It drags you down like a freefall. WOW. The speed is beyond insane and with the second hill being much lower, the high speed will give you big airtime. The middle part of the coaster, before you enter the ejector and helix is kind of forceless. After that it stays low to the ground and oh boy those ejectors are something. Careful not to hit your neighbour on the right side when it does ;) Before the brake run there are good airtime moments before slamming into the brake run. This coaster is absolutely worth the visit to the park.

    Vitesse Fluidité

I honestly think this is a fine family coaster. Double lap and is has some force at least.

  • Koen

    Launch Fluidité Intensité

Kind of a mini Abyssus, but for me due to the sharp and short elements I got a headache big time from it. Might be a personal thing...

    Intensité Layout Longueur

One of the better themed coasters in the parc in an area that finally makes some sense. The theming elsewhere in the parc is messy and cheap. The double launch is a good feauture. The first launch directly pushes you into a banked curve and has hills that fit the speed very well before the second launch. The second launch is fine. Not those Intamin launches a.k.a. powerful launches. After the top hat it has a great pace full with hills and banked curves with excellent forces. Not my favourite type in coasters, but I really apprecoated it during this ride. Together with Hyperion and Zadra, this coaster definitely rules the parc.

    Airtimes First Drop Vitesse

Ok, so I rode this at night for the first time and did a quick check on Captain Coaster if the comfort was ok. I picked up from a review to take the rear row (which is nearly always the best) and oh my oh my. this was my most memorable ride in the park. GCI coasters are great and this one stands out. The roaring in the dark, the Scandinavian theming, the train passing and rumbling through the station...WOAH. Then after leaving the station there are some fun elements to hype you even more. The first drop sucked my into the abyss, there was literally no sight and I was being tossed around like you are on the back of a beast. Its incredibly comfortable for a woody and the seats or should I say sofas are excellent. Thank you GCI.

    Launch Ejectors Longueur Inconfort

Theming and small scene before the launch is fun, decent launch for a Mack, strong ejectors especially at the very end. Though, after a few rides it was discomforting.

  • Koen

    Théma Vitesse Layout

Coaster or not, this was a great ride to do in between coasters. The sudden accelerations were quite fun. Pace could be lower in some spots so you get more time to enjoy the theming.

One of the better constantly powered coasters and the cave was a awesome surprise honestly!

  • Koen

    Airtimes Confort Longueur

For its age its doing so well. I can imagine at the time being built this was a excellent coaster as in smoothness, train design, restraint type and being the tallest coaster in Europe. My favorite and surprising elements were the sudden drop with ejector after the mid brake run and the hills after that were great fun too. The final two banked curves towards the final brake run are very well done with its speed.

Lap Bar Launch Chef d'oeuvre Trop court

Love it hate it for being a straightforward record breaking coaster, it felt as an achievement riding this coaster. With that mentality this was the ultimate coaster for me in Europe. The launch is pleasant yet fast but not overly powerful, the vertical track up was insane, top hat has the few seconds of view before crashing down to Mother Earth.....though everything went so fast (+/- 20 seconds), I can't remember eveything well either. Riding it multiple times might actually be recommended. It is worth to ride this coaster, despite the necessity to purchase another entrance ticket.

Longueur Déception ! Inconfort Temps mort

There are way better mine train coasters out there with similair build date. The track looks weak and thin, its mostly straight up and down, curves are not banked...come on. Positive point...the direct drop the moment leaves the station.

  • Koen

    Inversions Fun Layout Harnais

Despite its age it still runs so well for nowadays standards. Especially compared to the newer B&M Shambhala. Plenty of inversions make this coaster so unique. I went to this coaster everytime I started my day during my stay. Shoulder restraints not my favourite. However at thise tines that was considered normal. Wish they would replace the train and gave the track a paint job.

  • Koen

    Airtimes First Drop Fluidité

The height of this boy took my breath away. For a first time in many years I had a sudden feeling of hestitation and fear once the chain lift passes Dragon Khan and keeps ascending. The speed is thrilling, its as smooth as butter on ice (Dutch saying translated) and everything feels so grand. For what it was designed for, this is outstanding for its layout.

  • Koen

    Lap Bar Launch Vitesse Vibrations

Yeah...it has juxtaposing properties. Yes the location looks great, fun launch, pace was suitable as the coaster stays low to the ground. Elements were kind of meh and random. The rattle and shaking in the first banked curve was overtaking the joy I had unfortunately. Could be better Intamin...

  • Koen

    Airtimes Chef d'oeuvre Ejectors

Unique ride and I did not expect this at all. Actually, the first second you leave the station is already this insane roll that is so slowly paced it drives you nuts. The launch is decent and then this first drop....if you are going backwards it is like you are being sucked into the abyss. Excellent feeling! After that this coaster just messes with you non-stop and really has no dead spots. What a suprise!

  • Koen

    Théma Chef d'oeuvre Layout

What-a-masterpeice. By far the most beautiful coaster that exists. The built a whole steampunk style area with eateries, hotel, stores and this incredible coaster just passes through, in and out everything. The queue system is very much airport like. So efficient and well thought off. The launch and ride is just so smooth as if you are flying. Well done with this new track type Vekoma! The launch, speed, inversions and height are all just fine. It makes it accesible to all kinds of target groups. Highly recommended to take the front seat at night. Unreal. WOAH.

    Théma Inversions Vitesse

Where Phantasialand always has the restriction in height and noise due to the (complaining) neighbourhood, they have built with B&M an excellent coaster. Smooth as butter, awesome theming, good forces in all elements and the feeling you are a mamba by flying through those tunnels with some near misses really makes this a coaster that fits its name and theme.

  • Koen

    First Drop Inversions Vibrations

Glad to haven ridden this Schwarzkopf back in the days. I'll do my best to write this from my memory. Suprisingly the train only utilised buzz bars which felt a bit like 'yolo'. At that time I didnt know better....The first curved drop was a friendly and slowly building up to the top speed and after that directly throws you in what it was named after, the looping. It felt somewhat cool that while you were in the drop facing that looping. Other than directly going at it like a straightforward drop. And honestly that was what it was all about! After the looping there is not much going on and is slow and flat.

  • Koen

    Théma Débit Chef d'oeuvre

Unique coaster with interesting theming. It has one hell of a long train. The first half of the coaster is circling around a big hall with some fx, music and visuals, which adds up to the atmosphere and experience. After that the train disappears in a tunnel and keeps circling all around the hall but with a faster pace. I do find the Vekoma Illusion model interesting. This coaster offers a good atmosphere and a decent experience as a whole. For me its a classic and part of my nostalgic coaster experience.

  • Koen

    Théma Déception !

Compared to other mine coasters, this one is mediocre at best. For example, the one in Phantasialand is much more exciting and still fits well in the pcture of a mine coaster.

    Bonne suprise ! Fun

Well hey, for its built date and age it actually a very advanced coaster at that time. I find it still does well and I am certain for many people this is part of their nostalgic youth times. The thing that suprised me was the disorientation it caused which I kind of liked. The launch or actually flywheel pull is something I have never experienced before. Surprising coaster for its age!
