    Baffes Inconfort A raser !

Despite the refurbishment (if you can even call it that given the track still looks the same) this is still no pleasant ride. The harness hurts your shoulders, the train rattles along the track and I was legitimately glad the ride was over. I wouldn't recommend this rollercoaster. This is by far an inferior version of B&M's Inverted Coasters and it doesn't even come close.

Airtimes Lap Bar Intensité Temps mort

Colossos is one of the most intense and yet smooth wooden rollercoasters I know (at least its first half...). The airtime is ridiculously awesome on those first few hills and the positive Gs this ride packs are just insane for any wooden coaster. However in contrast to the rides before the retracking, the ride has become substantially tamer, which does not work out well at all. Those last airtime hills are nothing like what they used to be. And the double helix has always been a dead spot (as every other one) but after it the ride usually still delivered at a similar level as on the first hills. I know they intentionally toned the ride down, but this is not how it was supposed to be. That being said Colossos is still an awesome rollercoaster but after the amazing first half it does not deliver anything noteworthy anymore. The monster on the track is nice though and the theming has generally improved since the retracking. I also like the lap bar and general comfort of the cars. Colossos is a perfect ride for advanced newcomers and is still a fun experience even if you have been on many better rollercoasters.

    Bonne suprise ! Launch Fun

I went onto this ride knowing next to nothing besides its being a Schwarzkopf with a launch. The ride in the darkness is an absolute madness that is worth at least one ride each time one visits the park. Making this an indoor attraction was a brilliant idea.

Bonne suprise ! Launch Fun Trop court

A nice small rollercoaster. It does not feature as many inversions as for example Abyssus but it actually works out in its favor. The entire ride is fun and the launch is quite nice. It is much more fun than Abyssus since the inversions on it are a lot more comfortable. Only a shame that the track is that short.

    Théma Débit Fun

It is a very good family coaster and has many good moments for younger coaster enthusiasts and people who aren't used to riding big coasters. The theming is very well done and the capacity is one of the best ones in the park when the ride is operated with three trains.

    Théma Launch Layout Harnais

"Fluch(t) von Novgorod" is a very good and unique rollercoaster with world class theming, a launch that is always fun and an awesome beyond vertical drop in the dark. One could say it is a bit too short but I feel the elements are very well balanced out. The general layout is very nice, but I think the coaster would be better if it had a lap bar. The shoulder harness on these coasters is atrocious. Not only can't you move your arms around but you always have the neighbour's elbow in your arm. Although I have already seen worse restraints by the likes of Vekoma (e. g. Express Platform 13). Nevertheless it sadly disrupts the experience. The launch is superb and one of the best I have experienced, the subsequent airtime hill is very good and would be excellent if the coaster would be reimplemented with lap bars. The pretzel-turn (in German: Buchtknoten) is kind of there. It doesn't annoy but it is not that great either. The beyond vertical drop in the tower is awesome though and makes this ride more fun. Overall the ride is definitely worth one or two rides on your visit but "Der Schwur des Kärnan" does many things better (especially the restraints) than "Fluch von Novgorod". But it is still very unique and feels like a relatively relaxing experience in contrast to "Der Schwur des Kärnan".

First Drop Théma Inversions Temps mort

The scenery for this ride is breathtaking. For the first European RMC it is a great attempt. The Zero-G-Stall is awesome (albeit not as good as Zadra's), the overbanked airtime hill is great and the coaster has a lot of pace in general. There is a slight rattle during the ride, due to the Topper Track, but unless you're stapled, which some of the operators sadly do, it doesn't disrupt the ride. The biggest issue and why I think this coaster is not as good as it could have been is the entire second half in which the ride loses a lot of its vital pace. Maybe the IBox Track would not have resulted in such a decrease in velocity. Especially on the last ascend the loss of pace is evident. Maybe they could have cut the second half of the ride and it would have been a better experience. But generally the ride's good elements make up for the dead spots. Overall it is a truly special ride that I would definitely ride again when I'm near Kolmården.

    Chef d'oeuvre Intensité Layout Launch

A truly mesmerizing rollercoaster. It is an absolutely perfect experience except for the launches which feel as forceful as transport wheels. Nevertheless all of the elements are perfectly balanced out, not repetitive and forcefully driven through. Even the drop out of the station delivers airtime (at least in the backseats). By the way, this ride has some crazily good ejector airtime. On top of that you have the beautiful scenery of the Liseberg, which makes the ride very special. Nearing the end of the ride, there is one moment though where the train is just kind of meandering through some transitions. That is one thing Taron did indeed do better. Speaking of which, I think this rollercoaster is superior to Taron. It is suffice to say that Helix has inversions and a much more diverse layout. But having ridden many Intamins of late, I must say that Mack's lap bars are a bit more tight than Intamin's. Overall Helix is a masterpiece of a ride, which every coaster enthusiast should get a lot of enjoyment out of.

First Drop Fun Fluidité Trop court Harnais

An excellent dive coaster. Just like many of the other B&M Dive Coasters it is a bit too short. Unfortunately it features vest restraints in combination with a stupid harness which is very phisically restricting during the ride. This could have been solved much better in my opinion. The drop is excellent and especially amazing in the front row. The following track is a lot of fun as well. It feels very smooth and makes the ride more interesting. Overall worth a ride but for me it could never compete with a regular rollercoaster, the concept is just inferior in general.

  • Raymond C.

    Airtimes Fun Chef d'oeuvre Layout

This coaster is a load of fun. The airtime is very good but not too intense - which makes it easier for the general public to get hooked on bigger rollercoasters. As with the other European Intamin-Prefab, Colossos at Heide Park in Germany, the track is super smooth and has almost no rattling. The only con this coaster has is its compact layout. I wish the airtime was longer, maybe a bit more forceful and the repetition of the turns was minimised. But given the limited space Liseberg has I can understand why they opted for a compact layout. Actually when factoring in the space, it is a masterpiece.

First Drop Théma Intensité Débit Temps mort

This rollercoaster is absolutely amazing. The theming in the queue as well as during the ride is spot on as always at Hansa Park. The entire section in the tower is uniquely awesome and the drop to the outside is very intense and always fun. There are two very strong ejector airtimes on the ride - I absolutely love those. After the second one the ride sadly loses much of its pace and intensity. The other real con I have to give to the ride is its capacity. Due to the tower section the ride only manages to dispatch very few trains. Gladly the queue usually takes around 45 minutes so it is bearable to wait. Overall "Der Schwur des Kärnan" is an excellent coaster with lots of pace and intensity as well as world class theming.

Bonne suprise ! Launch Fun Harnais Sans intérêt

The first launch is great. The rest of the ride is kind of pointless though. I hate the restraints in front but in the back they're alright because of the space you've got between the seats. Just like Heidi it's another ride for the younger coaster enthusiasts.

  • Raymond C.

First Drop Bonne suprise ! Fluidité Intensité

A very smooth woodie. It has a really nice first drop, a decent layout and is a rollercoaster that will bring many younger enthusiasts towards riding bigger coasters. It is not as intense as I had hoped but it's alright since it is basically a kiddie ride. Nevertheless it is definitely worth a ride or two.

    Vitesse Fun Ejectors Vibrations

What a weird rollercoaster. It is unlike every other one I have ever ridden. It is almost too intense to be enjoyable. After you get used to the track (which took me about three rides) it can be a load of fun. However the quality of every ride can differ a lot. For example the rides where you don't experience airtime from the side are much better than the ones where you do. But generally every ride has its enjoyable moments. Sadly the train already consistently rattles during the ride which is questionable for a two year old rollercoaster. The lap bar is very tight on this ride, so make sure you find a comfortable spot to make this ride enjoyable and not painful. I wouldn't call it a masterpiece due to the rattling combined with the fact that the quality of each ride will always differ. But overall it is a very special rollercoaster every enthusiast should experience.

    Launch Fun Intensité Trop court

A great coaster with a superb launch and a subsequent ride filled with intensity and speed. I hadn't remembered how surprisingly good it is despite its relatively short track. The hydraulic cable launch is so much fun and very rare to find these days. If you like intensity in a roller coaster you should definetely give this one a try since literally every part of the track until the brake is intense. Theming wise it isn't the best but that doesn't matter to me with this coaster. I believe this ride to be criminally underrated and the second best ride at Heide Park after Colossos.

  • Raymond C.

First Drop Bonne suprise ! Fluidité

Very enjoyable coaster. It is very smooth and relatively fast. The seats are very comfortable and the entire ride has many interesting elements.

  • Raymond C.

Airtimes First Drop Harnais Trop court

A nicely themed dive coaster. I absolutely love that they didn't put vest restraints on this one like they did it with Valkyria at Liseberg. The first drop is nice although not as far as I had hoped and the ride despite featuring one inversion and an airtime is way too short. Nevertheless it is a very nice coaster only for that one drop. I wouldn't spend over 15-20 minutes in the queue though.

  • Raymond C.

    Inversions Fun Fluidité Harnais

It's generally a really smooth and a fun ride. I like the inversions on it, they are not as intense as on regular coasters. But having ridden many other coasters, I think this type of rollercoaster leaves something to be desired. Not too bad though, just average. Sadly the vest restraints are as horrible as they come though.

  • Raymond C.

First Drop Théma Fun Vibrations Débit

It is generally a nice rollercoaster. Though the ever appearing rattle, despite the retracking, makes it hard to ride it multiple times. It's safe to say RMC would have probably done a better job. Despite this the first drop is very nice for a wooden coaster, the queue line is very well themed and in general the ride is fun. The lap bars are just weird, but they don't bother me. The capacity is atrocious though.

  • Raymond C.

    Inversions Vitesse Fluidité Baffes Harnais

It is in general decent ride but the restraints ruin it for me. The headbanging you receive is very annoying and the seats are so close to each other that you end up with your neighbour's elbow in your arm. PortAventura should invest some money and switch the restraints to lap bars.

  • Raymond C.

Théma Launch Fun Inconfort Temps mort

The theming is very well done and probably the best thing about this ride. The launch is much fun too. Sadly the trains are discomfortable and the rest of the ride doesn't have much to offer. The last inversion was very painful.

  • Raymond C.

    First Drop Vibrations Baffes Harnais

What an awful ride. Probably it is just still standing because it is a cult classic to people at Parc Astérix. Almost all elements are atrocious, as one would expect from an older Vekoma coaster. The inversions are not enjoyable and sometimes downright painful and the inferior restraints disable your movement almost completely. Although I must say I did enjoy it slightly more than Big Loop (at Heide Park in Germany) which is another one of the Vekoma MK-1200 coasters. At least Goudurix has a decent first drop.

  • Raymond C.

    Situation Vibrations Baffes Inconfort

I guess this rollercoaster is as good as it gets with older Vekoma coasters. The restraints are terrible and the ride's discomfort is only outmatched by Express Platform 13's, it rattles and actually none of the inversions are that great. As on many Vekomas including the newer ones (e. g. Abyssus at Energylandia) the ride once again features much too quickly driven through loopings. Nevertheless the ride looks great near the lake and it probably serves as a cult classic for older generations.

  • Raymond C.

    First Drop Théma Inversions

A very good coaster with an amazing theming. The elements feel very well balanced out. Although I think the elements don't feel as special as the ones on other rollercoaster types. The first drop is awesome especially in the front row. All the inversions and other elements are very smooth and relatively intense.

  • Raymond C.

    Airtimes Launch Hangtime

What a great ride. There are a lot of airtime moments, albeit that they are not aggressively intense. Especially the airtime during the backwards launch stands out, it's awesome. There is a lot of good hangtime as well which is being made comfortable by the amazing over-the-shoulder lap bars. The best moment during the ride is when you get vertically launched up and you're waiting to fall down again. The big drop is also very nice but I wish they had gone with a vertical drop after the top hat (just like on Red Force). I feel that would have worked better with the overall design. The elements are very nice but they are not as well working together as the ones on other Intamin layouts (for example Kondaa), so I wouldn't call it a masterpiece. Nevertheless this rollercoaster is a load of fun and delivers a special experience. To me it feels like an improved version of Taron at Phantasialand.

  • Raymond C.

    Théma Bonne suprise ! Fluidité

This is definetely a ride for the whole family. Especially for those who don't dare to ride Kondaa. It is kind of like a wild mouse but a more comfortable layout. The mini-drops are fun as well.

  • Raymond C.

    Lap Bar Layout Vibrations Baffes

This was one of the worst rides on a rollercoaster I have ever had. There was a constant rattle and the train almost felt like it was jumping off the track. The layout itself isn't too bad actually, if it was an Intamin Prefab this could probably be a decent ride. Definetely a worthy contender for an RMC makeover. The only thing I was positively surprised by were the lap bars on the trains. Very comfortable in comparison to other Vekoma restraints, especially the older ones.

  • Raymond C.

    Airtimes Chef d'oeuvre Ejectors

Going into this ride I didn't even consider that it could possibly be better or even slightly as good as Hyperion. Partially that is true, but only in terms of the first drop and the capacity. The ride itself is a brilliant and intense masterpiece which is action from start to finish, there are no dead spots. All, yes literally all, airtime hills deliver extremely enjoyable ejector airtime (at least in the backseats). Just like Zadra at Energylandia it is a rollercoaster that is as close to a perfect ride as can be. All elements are awesome and supplement each other. If you like ejector airtime (just like I do) this is one of the best rides for you!

  • Raymond C.

    Théma Fun Vibrations Inconfort

It is an inferior coaster but it has a very good theming as all of the rides at Hansa Park. The ride can be a bit uncomfortable, especially with the hard braking at the end. And considering how long the queue usually is I'd rather spend that time in every other attraction's queue.

  • Raymond C.

    Launch Harnais Vibrations

I think this could have been a much better coaster. Although the launch is nice and the vest restraint on this is surprisingly good the high speed of the ride causes a major rattle which disrupts the riding experience. I think this coaster would be better off with a lower high speed. It is worth one ride though just for that launch which is amazing.
