16/6/22 - This is definitely my favourite coaster. I really like the hangtime before the first drop, and the airtime on the hill after that. But the helix is definitely my favourite element of the coaster. It is really intense, but I didn’t grey-out like many people say they do. The rest of the layout is also very nice and smooth. It’s too bad that it’s so short.
2025 - Haven't ridden this in a long time, probably won't ride it for a long time again. It's definitely not my favourite coaster anymore, I've ridden so many better coasters in those 3 years.

This was my first proper coaster and still to this day, I can’t skip it when I go to the Efteling. It goes only 64 (not 70) km/h, but it feels a lot faster, due to it being in the dark and it having wind machines. I also really like the onboard music. That together with the indoor aspect makes it a very reridable to me. The lines also move really quick because a train departs about every 30s. Theres only a few downsides to this ride. The theming is really not up to Efteling standards (phase 2 where are you???) and it can be a lil bit uncomfortable in the front row because of a slight rattle some imperfections in the profiling.

16/6/22 - This is definitely my favourite GCI coaster. It has a long layout, but it manages to keep its pace very well. I did however have a headache after riding it. I also did not really like the fast turns after the station fly-through as they were painful to me, but my friends didn’t seem to have this.
2025 - Haven't ridden this in a very long time, and probably am not going to for quite some time, but I've heard that it's gotten quite a lot rougher within those 3 years. Nevertheless, Wodan took the spot as my #1 GCI.

WOW that first drop is actually insane in the back row. But I actually recommend going somewhere around the middle of the train, because I felt like the airtime was much better there. Row 8 is probably the best, but you can’t really go wrong anywhere.

How do I describe this? It’s probably the smoothest coaster that I’ve ever ridden, but it does shake you around. Nevertheless, it completely caught me off guard with the first part. You cannot skip this when going to Liseberg.

3/1/24: I guess the restraints make it more comfortable in some way, but when we finally got to the brake run, I couldn’t breath anymore. The real end of the ride, and thus the suffering, is when the restraints open.
2/5/25: Wow actually never ever again. I thought I could give this coaster a second chance but it was somehow way worse. Not only did I hit my head against the back of my seat, but my whole body was just being shaken up throughout the ride.

24/10/24: It could’ve been the cold weather, or I was just unlucky. Either way, I had heard such great things about this ride and it being the best, but also the most intense coaster of Europe. If that is indeed the case, then I’m gonna be very disappointed with some of the other coasters of Europe.
To start my actual review: it is a really good coaster, just not as good as I expected it to be. If it is actually as ‘out of control’ as people claim it to be, then I went on the wrong day, because it really was not in my case. I couldn’t feel much of the spinning sensation, and pretty much all of the inversions were not that memorable. The only moments that stood out to me were the airtime moments.
That doesn’t mean that I dislike the coaster, the complete experience is really nice, and I especially like the onride music. But I really miss the intensity on this ride, and I think that Anubis the Ride is actually more intense.

Coming here for the Ride to Happiness and having this coaster as an additional credit, I was very surprised when riding it. To start, the launch is nothing like I have felt before, absolutely bonkers! The rise up after that can be a little uncomfortable, especially in the back row, but the airtime on the tophat is insane and makes up for it. Then layout following, featuring inversions, airtime/lateral moments and mostly positive g-forces have led me to my decision that Anubis the Ride is actually more intense than the Ride to Happiness.
