As someone who rode Kingda-ka years ago in its prime, this blows it out of the water. It’s a tiny bit slower and shorter, but since the king has fallen, this is the new number 2 fastest in the world (for now). It also kills kingda in excitement as the best part is hitting the launchers backwards to 100 mph and then hanging you upside down just to scream back to earth and relaunch again. It’s also smooth and with new cars super comfy. Hard to pick my fave at cedar point between this and steve.
Want to add a quick con, which is reliability. I would have jumped back on this bad boy several times if it was open, but in the rain it was the first one down and over the two days I visited it was only open about 30% of the time. Lots of people just sitting in line hoping and never getting to ride. Doesn’t take away from the quality of ride, but if you’re headed there for tt2, then I’d check on how often it’s been down recently.

Went in with some really high expectation, and sv did not let me down. The first drop is epic, the double zero g barrel rolls are amazing and the feeling of smooth flying through the tight wood frame is incredible. So much fun. A new favorite for sure.

I have been to dollywood too many times to keep track of at this point and have had the pleasure of riding LR many times. It's by far the most intense ride I've ever been on and it never ceases to excite me and leave me smiling every ride. Yes it's not classified as a full wooden coaster anymore, but the ecperience is the same and great every time.
