I don't know much about this ride, but if it ever comes back, there's like a %0.1 I might go on it (I haven't been on this or TTD). I don't like this (or TTD) because of its unsafeness and its impactful dead brother Top Thrill Dragster. I remember my dad talking about that one woman who got hit in the side of the head with one of those L-shaped metal things a WEEK after we went to Cedar Point with TTD. All in all, this can stay closed for all I care. X-(

I am so mad that the original Top Thrill Dragster with the 0 to 120 mph in 4 second hydraulic launch on it struck a woman in the head so hard with an L-shaped flag plate that fell off of the left side...

You have to get past the first launch to really appreciate this. There's a small punch to the first launch, but it does feel long and slow. When it kicks into second gear going backwards, that's where the real fun starts. Serious positive G's going up into the spike. The hangtime on the spike is surreal and feels like it lasts forever. Only a 20mph difference between the second and third launches but that third launch feels like it's doing an extra 50. Airtime on the tophat is crazy but not as crazy as the ragdoll-level laterals when you hit the spiral. Highly recommend keeping your arms down for that part. First ride to actually halfway pull my ponytail out.

Looking down at the Power Tower from the spike is an unreal experience. Also, the airtime on that top hat and the intensity of that spiral drop there is amazing, something I don't think I could ever get tired of. The launches kind of suck. That first launch especially has no bite, and it looks pathetic while sitting in the stands and watching the ride run. The 2nd and 3rd launches are more akin to boosts than actual launches since they are just helping the train get up to speed. Sit in row 1 for the best experience. The sense of speed is the best there and I argue the airtime on the top hat is better there too. Sit in the back if you want the best experience on the spike.

Even after months of having not ridden it, this is still one of the best coaster experiences ever. Intense speeds, spine crushing forces going into the spike and into the top hat, and the single best airtime moment I've experienced. Can't wait to get back on it!!

I only got to ride Top Thrill 2 twice back in May so I feel like I can compare it to dragster and TT2 is better in every way. The seats sit up much higher so when your going over the top hat it feels way different believe me. And the 420ft spike you get launched into at 100mph going backwards is probably the best part of the whole ride. I really wish I could've rode it more but maybe next year...
