Raptor is a great rollercoaster. The theming is really good such as the path in the jungle to reach it. It looks very beautiful on the otside and I love how it does one of it's cult inversions over the station. It is something that makes it memorable. The station where the trains are loaded is also with very good theming. There is some music in the Raptor area that is not part of the soundtrack and I think that it is not on youtube, you can hear it in real life only. The coaster is an amazing demonstration of the B&M Wing Coaster model. I just love when it starts. Even though the restraints are indeed claustrophobic. Each time I go on the coaster I feel horrible in them. But they feel the worst while still in the station. During the ride I don't feel them at all and it feels super comfortable. I can let go and feel as if I am flying and the sky is hugging me. The feeling of hanging upside down when riding Raptor is just amazing. The only con is that filming on ride is not allowed in Gardaland which for me doesn't make sense at all and disappoints a lot. The station how I said looks extremely badass and cool and the sound of the air and the feeling you get when the ride starts and the train starts moving is one of the best feelings ever. The first drop is scary but after that it just all comes into place even if you are scared you will feel great. I had one ride on the right side though and on the outer seat and unfortunately it feel way too intense. So it can feel too intense depending on the seat you get. I mostly rode on the left side and I didn't have a problem with it. I love the station, I love the dark theming, the jungle, the music, the beauty of the ride, the sound and the feeling of hanging upside down like that. I would love to try other wing coasters too! But Raptor is a masterpiece. Oblivion and Raptor are so good for a marathon you could never get enough of those great rides. Gardaland is so good because of them!

Also very cool that you are being filmed while riding and can buy the video afterwards! I prefer the right side to the left, the inversions are more fun this way.

J'ai fait Raptor en 2018, alors que je ne connaissais rien au monde des parcs, j'avais adoré. J'étais encore petit donc je n'ai pas de souvenir énorme si ce n'est de sa drop et de sa dernière inversion qu'il passe très lentement. Je me souviens aussi d'une théma plutôt belle et surtout d'une fluidité exceptionnelle comparée à son voisin Blue Tornado. Quand j'ai appris que Raptor était le tout premier Wing BetM, j'étais heureux. Bravo à cette entreprise pour cette innovation (malheureusement l'avant dernière en date avec le stand up).

Pour un prototype, B&M s'en sort très bien, sans une seule vibration, le ride propose une first drop très flottante au last, des inversions planantes avec un bon hangtime au niveau de l'inline twist finale, un moment d'airtime qui n'en donne que sur certaines places, et des turns plutôt plaisants, le tout ajouté aux near misses propres à ce genre de modèle qui sont très réussis. En général, Raptor est un coaster de très bonne facture comme on aimerai en voir plus souvent, qui ne se démarque pas de son extrême intensité, mais de ses éléments soft et toujours agréables à passer

Il ne se passe pas grand-chose, je lui préfère 100 fois Fenix. Ça reste agréable à rider mais le train est vraiment très lent sur la dernière partie du layout. Théma moche mais jolie vue sur le lac. Pour moi ça valait 3 étoiles mais sachant que c'est un prototype, je remonte un peu ma note.

Both are very intense rides that focus on positive Gs, that's why I would rather do another ride on Oblivion instead of it.

La file d'attente est bien thématisée même si la première partie ressemble à la prison de The Walking Dead.

The prototype wing coaster, and a great ride as well. I really enjoy the straight first drop, some good whip as you go down on the back. The layout is creative as well with some snappy intense turns, nice inversions and a great final roll with some awesome near misses. It's decently themed too, nothing world beating but fun nonetheless. Unfortunately the seat belts on this are much shorter than on other B&Ms so the bar had to be implanted into my thighs, would understand if they were all like it but I don't have any such problems on the Swarm. Still, an excellent ride and my favourite coaster at Gardaland

I personally preferred the right side over the left side and fore me is the front row the best row, because of the views from the lifthill and the theming which has some near misses.

j'adore vraiment ce coaster mais il faut que je me fasse a l'idée qu'il est trop mou, par contre il est exctrémement fluide et la dernière inversion provoque un très belle hangtime, la théma est splendide et le parcour est rempli de foot et head choper car il y a beaucoup de proximité avec le décor mais il n'est pas assez intense pour qu'on puisse vraiment le qualifier de très très bon coaster, j'aurais aimer que quelques km/h en plus.

Ride du 06/08 : Pour un prototype il faut avouer que c'est plutôt réussi. MAIS, et je dis MAIS, c'est quand meme pas une grosse réussite. Deja les harnais qui te serrent pendant tout le ride c'est pas top, et puis surtout le layout du coaster est assez répétitif et avide d'originalité. Cependant j'apprécie fortement la dernière inversion, avec ses très beaux headchopper tout son long qui font très bien leurs effets, mais surtout pour l'hangtime qu'elle provoque qui est biennnnnn longggg.

En balade proche du lac de garde je m'arrête et me retrouve face à Raptor. L'entrée du ride est un peu dissimulé, thémé entre grillages et faux barbelés. Au dessus de nous, une belle machine tournoie entre les décors figurés d'abandon et de destruction. La gare d'embarquement est tout autant belle. On s'assoit, le harnais autour de nous épouse parfaitement notre corps et c'est extrêmement agréable. La machine part, le lift fait monter l'adrénaline avant de balancer sur le côté chacun de ses passagers. Le ride est vraiment fluide, fun et bourré d'éléments de décors intéressants. Même arrivé aux freins finaux, le ride n'est pas totalement terminé. Pour l'avoir aussi fait de nuit c'est tout aussi chouette à tester presque à chaque place droite/gauche et intérieur/extérieur afin de tester plus profondément chaque sensation créant un nouveau parcours à chaque fois. Manque un peu d'instants forts et l'on aurait aimé plus de prise de risque et d'airtimes.

I didn't expect it to blow me away, but still, I thought it'd be better. There's nothing wrong with it, it's just to mild a coaster for me. The drop is quite good at the back, and there are a couple of nice floater moments. The inversions are good and give some hangtime. It sounds good. However, the vests (my first time with them) sort of ruin it. I don't think they're bad restraints, but they're not very appropiate for a ride whose major appeal is hangtime. None of the turns pulls any decent positives, even less than expected, and the ride is a bit too short. However, what dissapointed me the most were the near-misses, which I expected to be awesome, as claimed for wing coasters (this was my first one). I didn't believe I'd crash, they were way weaker than Taron's and FLY's (yeah, I've been spoiled by Phanta). Anyway, decent low-thrill coaster which is always fun to ride, just lacks some punch.

Niveau sensation, malgré les spécifications du coaster, je n'ai quasiment rien ressenti, pire encore, les harnais de types "veste" sont encore plus inconfortables que ceux qu'on peut retrouver sur Hyperspace Mountain. Aucun airtime car on est solidement attaché au siège. Légèrement plus intéressant le soir à chaud, mais il ne m'a pas convaincu.

It also haves a few quite intense moments, but it just feels it ended too soon, it still haves quite a lot of speed and could easily do some elment before the awesome inline twist. Overall the best ride in the park and also you will have so much fun on it

Le ride est d'une légèreté avec ces lentes et longues inversions qui donnent de bons hangtimes. Gros bon point pour la première drop qui offre un bel airtime, je ne m'y attendais pas du tout. J'ai trouvé cependant qu'il vibrait un petit peu au dernier rang et il est aussi trop court à mon goût. Sinon pour ce prototype wing de B&M, il est en très bon état et sympa la vidéo embarquée.
