A few pops of air in the middle section. Not really rough in any painful way, just feels like a classic. I like the enclosed section. Decent length. Rode in the second from back. Restraints allow for some room.

Nice surprise! Location Fun
this ride definitely rides like a coaster built during the 20s, but to me, that's honestly the best part of the ride to me. this would be really boring if it didn't run like this, the roughness makes it really fun to me.

First Drop Location Comfort Rattle Theming
It was a fun ride. The seats were very comfortable, the first drop threw me out of my seat, and the location is great. The seats were comfortable until the ride started. When I say the ride is rough, I MEAN IT. Roughest ride I've ever ridden, but still fun!

Location Rattle Discomfort

Location Fun Disappointing! Airtimes Dead spots
Wasn't as fun as I was expecting. For a coaster that goes 48 mph, it has some terrible pacing. The airtime is quite weak as well, and laterals don't really make a ride that much better imo. It is pretty historic, and it's still kinda fun.

Airtimes Location Fun Dead spots
Honestly, this wasn't bad. Most underrated woodie, in my opinion. Either I don't care about roughness or I got a really smooth ride, didn't notice much in terms of shakiness. However, there are some dead spots on this ride, basically the majority of the turns. Really appreciate the underrated airtime and location, however.

Location Rattle
Giant Dipper is a classic wooden coaster, and it's just okay. A little on the rough side.

Disappointing! Discomfort Tear it down!
So painful in the back. My neck was sore for hours afterwards.

Rattle Headbanging
I could talk about the decent layout, the good view of the ocean, the good ops... BUT THIS RIDE IS SO DAMN ROUGH. Of course it's a classic and all, but man is it ROUGH. The only time I've felt terrible on a roller coaster. Just retrack it, and the ride will be splendid! And lower the cost of riding, although with the costs of rent and land in California, I understand why it's expensive... at least retrack it to make the payment worthwhile.

Fun Ejectors Duration
Very fun, historic coaster right on the beach at Belmont Park. Don't let its age fool you, this almost 100 year old coaster has plenty of thrills to give; if you're a fan of ejectors or just classic wooden coasters in general, then I would highly recommend you give this thing a ride or two. Each ride is a about $7, and the ride is very well maintained by a group of people who clearly care about it. It may not be one of those steel launching coasters just down the road at SeaWorld (Electric Eel is very much visible from the lift-hill), but you definitely don't want to miss out on this wooden classic.
