I was expecting more out of this, considering it was my first Euro-Fighter. But honestly, I am disappointed. The drop was good, and it is simply just a fun ride, but I was expecting a big more of a punch out of this. The ride also felt like it lasted for 15 seconds after the lift hill, which was sad. But this is still pretty fun in general.

I knew it was going to be short, but considering my expectation was comparable to a short version of Impulse at Knoebels, I was somewhat disappointed. Despite being beyond vertical rather than just vertical, the drop felt the same on both rides, not a problem, it’s a good drop. Throughout the ride, like I expected, there were positives throughout the ride. The best part is probably the inclined loop, which has sustained Gs throughout the inversion. However, it was disappointing that the G-force was not quite near the level of Impulse. Add the short ride and it just didn’t compare. Another problem, the lap bar can staple badly. I’m not too bothered, but it still isn’t preferable. Despite the obvious inferior ride, Tantrum delivers a great experience still and is worth a 4 star rating.

There's no real reason for them to have added a cloned layout for a boardwalk, but it fits a lot into it's short duration. First drop and hill give decent ejector. Cutback and non-inverting loop are pretty intense. Pretty enjoyable all around, and the lap bar is also beneficial with preventing unnecessary headbanging.

This coaster is really smooth, great pacing, nice inversions, good hangtime, but a short layout. rightnow this coaster is 2 on my list of credits becuase i started being an enthusiast less than a year ago

The ascent up the lift hill is a crazy experience. The drop feels intense and forceful and the momentum continues throughout the ride with no noticeable slow down in pacing. Tantrum is definitely short but it’s still the second best coaster at six flags Darien lake in my opinion.

tantrum at darien lake is amazing. the drop gives some shockingly good ejector. this follows with a semi forceful immelman, a weird feeling since most of these are weak on the forces. the following twisted drop has some good float to it and some weak laterals, atleast on the rigjt side. then the whippy s bend has good laterals aswell as just being a fun transition. The cutback that follows is very fast and keeps up the pace. This ride is very fast paced which is uncommon for a eurofighter which are typically littered with hangtime. You then hit the pullout into the incline loop. this pulls some serious g’s. I greyed out here bunches. the following incline loop is overall still forceful but not as forceful as the pull into it. Overall this ride is a 10/10 for me and i would love to do it again.

Everything is good about this ride, not one dull moment! First drop has phenomenal negatives g's and is honestly one of my all-time favorite drops. It was my first beyond vertical drop so I really didn't know what to expect. And the rest of the ride is just as good, packed with awesome positive g's, fun-filled inversions and an ejector bunny hop in to the break run. this ride is so short though that you really don't get to take in what this ride is doing to your body. If it had a few more elements then it would be a solid 4 of 5 but because its so short it's staying at a 3.5.

Tantrum is my favorite Gerstlauer coaster I've yet ridden. Though I've ridden few, I favor this over Dare Devil Dive. It is better paced without any boring moments, and is in a more fitting park for its capacity. An excellent first drop starts off a wonderfully twisty layout that I honestly barely remember. It's so twisted and tangled up in on itself that the experience is constant and so much fun. The restraints are comfy, and the ride is butter smooth. Though it is short, it's also sweet and an excellent addition to the park that I hope stays around under the Six Flags banner.
