Airtimes Inversions Comfort

Just an around good ride. Those Mack restraints never miss and it offers the best inversions in Australia. Solid ride and it’s what Dreamworld needed.

Airtimes Capacity Comfort

I rode this yesterday and it was SOOOOOOO MUCH FUN. I LOVED IT. I definitely recommend this coaster for those who want to give it a try.

Haven’t ridden too many coasters, twisted colossus and Tatsu are currently atop my list. This ride has given me a new love for launch coasters. The first launch is soft. The second launch backwards is much more forceful. Then the third launch is smooth as butter. The track is nicely laid out, with all the elements rolling into one another seamlessly. Lap bars help create a bit more drama and excitement. Of all the inversions, I think the last corkscrew(?) is my favourite. I do rate this ride quite highly. My biggest con would be ride capacity (only one train). I can’t see why there couldn’t be a second train loading up while the first is already on the track.

Steel Taipan is a great step forward for Dreamworld! The swing launch adds something different to this Blue Fire clone, but more importantly, the spinning seats in the back are a great addition and a totally wild experience! Worth every cent! However, I do find that this ride seems to wander through a lot of its layout. The airtime hill is a misfire, and the first three inversions don't have a lot of force to them.

A fantastic coaster, the second two of the three launches really have a punch, the tail spike is super intense (and a little rough in the pullup), and the rest of the ride is super smooth and intense....

A fantastic coaster, the second two of the three launches really have a punch, the tail spike is super intense (and a little rough in the pullup), and the rest of the ride is super smooth and intense. The drop off the midcourse gives some excellent ejector, and the three rolls all deliver on whip! The trains have a cool, sleek design as well.

Lap Bar Inversions Launch

This ride truly left me speechless! The 1st of the 3 launches is very (and i mean very) gentle. The 2nd launch forces you into the back of your seat and whips you up and around the iconic 'tail spike'...

This ride truly left me speechless! The 1st of the 3 launches is very (and i mean very) gentle. The 2nd launch forces you into the back of your seat and whips you up and around the iconic 'tail spike'. The rest of the layout resembles your classic blue fire. The last inversion is spectacular and is a great finish to the ride, once again throwing you out of your seat! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!!
