This was an amazing ride when it first opened, could ride it all day, now i can barely do a single ride, it is ROUGH, completely ruined and Tusenfryd really needs to fix this. Hope RMC can do something.

C’est donc un 1/5. Je peux juste pas mettre plus à ce niveau d’inconfort. Dans le top des pires wooden en terme de confort. Mais c’est vraiment son seul problème mais qui en fait donc le principal à ce niveau…

This thing is wild. the relentless rattle let you think the train jumps off the track every second. This out-of-control-feeling is either nice trilling or bad because of the rattle. By far the best moment is the first hill and second drop into a short tunnel. Ride that in the back row and you will feel a nice ejector. The rest of the ride has some nice bumbs as well, and even the lenght of the ride is ok. But retracking would be a good idea.

Un wooden avec un bon circuit à la CCI mais tout en gardant son côté vekomesque (quelques transitions mal branlés dont une particulièrement violente à l'avant (vraiment accrochez vous)). Il vibre bien aussi, à la limite du désagréable (on pourrait le comparer avec T2Z mais lui n'a pas été retrack), heureusement que les trains sont des timberliners pour un meilleur confort de siége (mais j'aurai aimé le testé en évitant les wheelsit). Malgrés tout ça, ce truc est une dinguerie ! Les airtimes sont très bon, certains sont même très surprenant (à la limite de l'ejector), on sent le train volé avec nous et ça, on a l'impression de mourir à chaque ride, c'est le signe d'un bon wooden ! Il a une bonne situation avec sa grosse drop en flanc de relief (le ride est bien caché) et a une très bonne sentation de vitesse. Il a vraiment rien à voir avec Loup-garou ou (fut) RobinHood, deux autres wooden vekoma.

I love the f**k-off massive second drop into the tunnel. That combined with the airtime hill that goes into it is a contender for the most memorable part of any coaster to me. Unfortunately though this is the roughest roller coaster I have ever ridden and I nearly cried & threw up on it. It is VIOLENTLY ROUGH. There's one moment of this ride that saves it from being my worst ever coaster. Retrack, or change the trains, please.

Thundercoaster was THE big surprise of my visit at Tusenfryd! While it's a true old-school woody with it's pros and cons, I believe it is criminally underrated and nowhere near as bad as it's reputat...

Thundercoaster was THE big surprise of my visit at Tusenfryd! While it's a true old-school woody with it's pros and cons, I believe it is criminally underrated and nowhere near as bad as it's reputation. Going in with no expectations, the first ride was a great surprise. At first, Thundercoaster was kind of scary. It is fast-paced, intense, and an overall rough ride experience. After that first ride, Thundercoaster really grew on me! The ride is relentless, has phenomenal pacing and slams you in the final brakes. It certainly has a characteristic oldscool woody rattle and can be slightly uncomfortable in parts, but the new Gravity Group trains prevent you from the worst rattles and I personally enjoy the authentic wooden coaster feel. While Thundercoaster may not offer too much airtime, it compensates with its intensity on the positive G-forces. The ride through the tunnel following the second drop is one of the most intense moments of positive G's of any wooden coaster i've been on. And I haven't even started about the beautiful landscape and the work with the terrain, which make this coaster really stand out. Looking back to my visit in Tusenfryd, I kind of regret getting 8+ rides on SpeedMonster and only 3 on Thundercoaster as the lines where longer. If I were to compare Thundercoaster to another coaster, I would think of Tonnere2Zeus. Both have in common that they are thrilling, well-paced rides with some janky parts and great fun. However, with the retracking Tonnere has a more modern layout and is the better ride.
