After the Lech Coaster, which was a little bit too agressive for my tastes, Vekoma fully delivers with this coaster. The front gives you a milder ride with floating airtime while the back delivers some good ejector airtime. Great first drop, wonderful hangtime in the following inversion. Some snatchy twists and turns, an inversion through the station and fun, fun, fun. Your daddy will also like this.

La plus grosse réussite de chez Vekoma selon moi. Le coaster est absolument parfait avec ce cadre phénoménal perdu dans la forêt au nord du Danemark. La first drop arrache bien, la première inversion est superbe avec du hangtime planant. Les 2 rolls sont pris super vite et il y a du gros whip contrairement à ceux de Lech Coaster. Le rythme est fou de A à Z, on enchaîne les éléments parfaitement sans temps mort. Un rythme ultra nerveux à la RMC avec ses enchainements d'airtimes, on se croirait presque plus dans un RMC que dans un Vekoma. C'est largement au dessus d'un Lech Coaster selon moi ce qui en fait le meilleur Vekoma du monde!

Une petite pépite signée Vekoma, layout intéressant et très planant, mention spéciale au Stall Loop bien planant et au Corkscrew aux effets de basculements bien sympa, c'est fluide et confortable avec un bon rythme, niveau théma c'est le minimum syndical.

Excellente machine, bravo à vekoma Il faut le dire depuis que pousse les coaster nouvelle génération il n’y a que du positif ! Sur l’attraction en elle-même, un 0gSt Très bien exécuté Ainsi que toutes les autres inversions… La fin du parcours me fait réellement penser à un Konda avec plein de petits camel très sympa ! Seul manque un peu de thématique supplémentaire… Une machine qui peut tout à fait se placer proche d’un lech même si moins intense !

I went to this park with mixed expectations for this coaster but actually, this thing is much better than expected. Allthough I have to mention I haven't got the chance to ride Lech Coaster yet, this thing is really well balanced. Most prominent is the airtime which you'll get throughout the whole lay-out. I also love the three inversions and where they're located. It is a pity that Vekoma still uses vest restraints on most of their thrill coasters, but they didn't bother me that much. Also, with two train operations and stacking right before the station (not the final brakerun) capacity isn't an issue, either. It's not the most extreme coaster out there, but one everyone can enjoy multiple times and I think it's the perfect addition for Fårup Sommerland and the best rollercoaster in Denmark for sure.

For me, the main thing that I look for in a coaster is "an out of control experience without doing my head in". And while Fønix is smooth, in fact one of the smoothest coasters I've ever ridden, it is a deceptively tame ride. A coaster that looks like it should be fantastically wild from offride retains a sense of feeling very controlled & calculated throughout, with the combined restrictiveness of the vest stopping you from being flung too far in really any direction. It is an awesome 'first inversion' coaster, and excellent for families, but doesn't quite hit what I look for in a coaster.

Fønix is just a masterpiece, its so smooth so much airtime. 3 incredible inversions. its got straight, twisted and outerbanked airtime. its not too intense but thats what i like. so incredibly reridable. and i dont think the trains are too bad either. the plaza is also beutiful. and it fits so well in fårups line-up. for me its a easy 9/10 if the airtime would be a bit stronger, more intense and more theming it would easily be my number 1

Incredible airtimes in the front and back. I have to admit that the front row was more fun imo, but the drop was way more violent in the back. I understand why some people might think that it’s not intense enough, but I think it’s perfect and it actually has some forceful moments. The immelmann stall inversion after the drop was stunning and the other inversions had some very good hangtime too. The pace was amazing and the train runs very smooth and fast later in the day through its layout. Absolute perfection on that scale

Ça glisse, c'est impressionnant une telle fluidité ! Même le bruit des roues a un son de glissement. Je chipote mais pourquoi Vekoma s'entête à nous mettre des vest restraints alors que tous les autres ont des lap bars (c'est pas trop gênant en vrai on s'y fait) ? Bref machine à airtimes, avec un stall loop très planant, une heartline assez violente, le passage dans la gare fun mais très rapide, deux double downs qui à chaud, vous envoient valdinguer, bref, c'est paumé au nord du Danemark, mais ça vaut le voyage car c'est une excellente machine

This ride delivers ejector airtime at the whole time. When there is no airtime, you will experience awesome inversions. The corkscrew through the station, a Immelmann as a 0g-Stall and a highspeed heartline roll. All 3 are very well placed. What should be said, that only 3 of 13 airtime moments are classic straight bunnyhills. All other are waveturns, off-axis or twisted hills. So the ride has a great variarty.

Fonix is an amazing ride that delivers in almost every way. It’s got a great first drop, lots of airtime moments, some fantastic inversions, and overall a great layout. However, I do have two small gripes about Fonix. First off, it focuses much more on airtime, and it hardly has any intense moments during the entire ride. Second, even though it’s the tallest in Denmark, a lot of the ride’s elements take place low to the ground with small pops of airtime that don’t really provide the punch I look for. But I can look past those two things and come to the realization that Fonix is an outstanding ride and one of the best in Denmark.

Oh Boy, Where should I start with this ride. Fønix is an absolutely fantastic ride experience starting with a great drop and delivering all the way through, as it should be. Once again Benjamin Bloemendaal shows how he is a true expert at his craft and proves that a fantastic coaster neither has to be tall nor launched. It does leave off where lech coaster started, however, not quite as intense, which I think is a shame. The complete package works really well though and is just incredible fun. A shame it has vests though :(

I came to Denmark for the first time to ride this beast! It was exactly how I was expecting. Very smooth, fun. I loved the stall loop - that was my favourite part. Even with just lap bar without vest it would be even better. But Vekoma did vests looser than on older coaster like Formula on Energylandia, so it was not a big deal. It is not as good as Lech coaster, it misses some intensity, but it is amazing coaster. Also very reridable.

Another example of how remarkably smooth Vekoma's newer gen coasters are. Whilst an excellent coaster in its own right, it fails to meet the standards set by Lech. An early first ride of the day doesn't feel too dissimilar to an end-of-the-day ride, leaving very little difference in the ride experience having anticipated it to warm up. The first drop is sublime with an out-of-seat experience throughout, whilst the first spot of hang time is equally addictive. Where the coaster does fall down on however is the air time, throughout the rest of the layout, with the double down barely offering an inch. Fonix is a great roller coaster, but not quite the masterclass that Vekoma have proven they are capable of delivering.

Mon dieu quel chef-d'œuvre que vekoma nous offres. D'une fluidité sans égal, sans vibrations, avec un layout qui offre des inversions, airtimes, hangtime... Je pensais que les harnais allez gâcher le ride, mais pas du tout, je n'est senti aucune gêne. La drop au last est explosive, le stall loop offre de bonne sensations, j'aurai aimé qu'il fasse 2-3m de plus. Sans suis un enchaînement d'inversion pris a pleine vitesse et de bosse à airtimes puissant. Rien est a jeté dans se layout, ça glisse comme du savon.

This was the coaster i came for to Denmark, and when i rode it for the first time i fell in love of this Vekoma beauty. I love a good layout and the inversions are great on this especially the one that fly through the station. Nice airtime hills and sharp transitions. A very good coaster for Denmark and my nr 1 For Denmark.
