Inversions Nice surprise! Fun Headbanging Discomfort
Blue Hawk was not awful...in fact, it was moderately enjoyable. It's not going to draw record crowds or bring people in from other parts of the county, but it was a serviceable ride that was much better than it's reputation made it out to be. I dare say I liked it...

Inversions Intensity Rattle Headbanging Harness
The first time I rode this I would say 4 stars but this ride all I got was a bad rattle and head banging this ride is gotten so rough over the course of even months

Inversions Intensity Headbanging Disappointing! Discomfort
You don’t really headband anymore because of the vest restraints but you sure feel like you’re going to. The inversions aren’t bad but nothing special. You do get a nice sense of speed down the first drop in the back row. Too janky to be any fun though. Usually skip this ride.

Rattle Intensity
It's like a long boomerang that doesn't go backwards. At the very least, the restraints are as good as they can be, but it still gave me a headache

Location Inversions Discomfort Intensity
If I hadn't ridden I305 before this I might never ride an intense coaster again. The sustained Gs on a ride like that are thrilling, but here it's just discombobulating, uncomfortable, and annoying. I do not enjoy back-to-back inversions taken at a rapid pace for seemingly no reason other than "inversions are cool". The transitions are bad and the lift hill is incredibly annoying. On a more positive note I guess the location is good - I like rides over bodies of water. At the very least the vest restraints make this ride not complete torture. I have a lot of sympathy for those who rode Ninja. Also the head choppers are insane. If this thing had less restrictive restraints I genuinely believe you could smack most of the support beams. 2/10 - not a con for the coaster itself but the way it gets stuck in the butterfly in the film Vacation is very annoying from a gravity standpoint

Harness Intensity Headbanging
It's... Not bad? It's enjoyable? It has some really janky transitions but it wasn't as bad as I was expecting. The vests really help. I'd ride it again :)

Inversions Headbanging Too short
this is the worst fu**ing ride i've ever ridden I would never ride this ride again and the layout isn't bad but has some nasty transitions

Inversions Fun Discomfort Dead spots
Pretty average ride overall. There is some fun moments but also some painful ones as well.

Rattle Harness Discomfort
This is a pretty bad ride. It’s not fun and is rough To everyone who suffered through Ninja, I am so so so sorry. This is my Blue Hawk Review not Ninja, my 2022 Rides Blue Hawk is there

Inversions Location Comfort
I can't imagine riding this without the new-gen Vekoma trains. To everyone who suffered through Ninja, I am so so so sorry.

Layout Headbanging Discomfort
I rode this back when it was still call Ninja. I guess after seeing the hate that the Ninja at SFSTL receives they wanted to distance themselves from that when they repainted it. I was very excited, with a bit of apprehension, to ride this. I truly enjoy Ninja at SFSTL and ride it every time I go--it's my home park. This is a larger version with a couple more inversions. I was set to be thrilled. I was aware of what type of coaster I was riding and did everything I could to alleviate the headbanging and the roughness--to no avail. This isn't the roughest from beginning to end coaster I have ever been on, but there were several, not just 1, but several transitions that were absolutely brutal. Would I re-ride it today with the fresh paint job? Probably.

Capacity Inversions Duration Rattle Headbanging Discomfort
This ride has always been shaky even when it opened as the Ninja. Better ride if you are in the last car of the train.
-
Harness Dead spots
This coaster is miles better than what it used to be. It still has a bounce and can rattle a little, but this ride is intense and has good trains. Great head choppers too.

Inversions Intensity Smoothness Rattle Theming
Guys, stop hating Bluehawk. As a coaster enthusiast, I can see the hate, but it just doesn’t make sense. I don’t like Vekoma either, but I don’t hate them completely. Bluehawk make be a little janky and shaky, but I think it’s pretty smooth. Now the theme is a blue hawk. Can we please change that? Come on guys, Georgia Scorcher is worse than this.

Rattle Harness Discomfort
This is a pretty bad ride. It’s not fun and is rough
-
This is probably my least favorite inverted steel coaster I've ever been on.
-
Harness Intensity Layout Rattle
This was much better then I remembered. It definitely is shaky and rattly but the restraints keep it from head banging. The layout is super compact which allows for some insane near misses. Pretty good.

Inversions Intensity Discomfort
Blue Hawk is a solid mid-sized looper with a neat location, some good Gs (positive and laterals), a forceful butterfly loop you’ll only find on one other coaster, good headchoppers. However the ride is a bit shaky but at least there’s no head banging due to the vest restraints.
-
Inversions Pace Harness Rattle
New trains and paint are very very pretty. They don't get rid of the awful tracking and rattling, but at least it's rideable now, and the inversions are fun with the compact layout over the water.

Inversions Intensity Harness Discomfort
Good ride except for the discomfort caused by the restraints.
