Airtimes
Floater airtime galore! I love this ride. Definitely the best in the park by a mile. A rare excellent B&M. Only part I didn’t like was the helix.

Airtimes Capacity Intensity Rattle
The final hills give great ejector. Best B&M I’ve been on

Airtimes Pace Intensity Rattle
A very fun hypercoaster, probably my favorite from B&M only behind Raging Bull. Every hill gave incredible sustained floater, even as strong as flojector in many moments. There is a bit of a rattle but I didn't find it to harm the ride that much. The helix is super intense and the ride maintains a consistently strong pace throughout its entire layout. I also love how it weaves in and out of the park and you get to see the crowds below you through the pathways.

Airtimes Capacity Fun Disappointing!
To say this ride is disappointing has more to do with the high expectations I had in my head vs the actual experience. I was intimidated by this ride the first time I saw it and used my daughter's size (she was only "52 last year) as an excuse to duck it. When we went back to SFOG this year I knew I had to give it a shot. It just looked so big compared to everything else at the park. When I finally got the courage up to ride it, I found Goliath to be remarkably tame. It's a "big-boy" as my daughter likes to say, but not on a giga-coaster scale and while the speed was great, I think the absence of a truly steep drop left me longing for more. It is a really strong ride nonetheless. Good size, speed with some nice ejectors and airtime throughout a seemingly long ride (which I found to be a good thing.) It's almost the exact opposite of the Twisted Cyclone which packs more of a punch into a much smaller frame. In that way, the two complement each other very well as the premiere coasters at Six Flags Over Georgia.

Airtimes First Drop Masterpiece Rattle
There’s only a slight rattle not enough to really notice

Airtimes Capacity Ejectors
Best B&M hyper! Back row is where it’s at. Last bunny hills give genuine ejector airtime. No mid course, 9 car trains, no trims, great helix turnaround…what’s not to love!!

Airtimes Fun Duration
This was my third B&M hypercoaster and they continue to impress. It was interesting to go on one that is older, and while it could use a new coat of paint, it is still a great ride.

Airtimes Intensity Layout
Going into this ride I knew many called it their favorite B&M Hyper, so my expectations were high. Though I enjoy the model, I tend to find them a little bit boring with the repetitive floater hills and out-and-back L or I shaped layouts. Goliath is nothing like those. It has fantastic floater hills, of course, but also packs in a very interesting layout. The way it winds over the entrance to the park and past the highway is very unique, and leads to a much more engaging ride in my opinion. The positive Gs on this one also shocked me. I knew the double helix was going to be forceful, but I didn't anticipate greying out for that long on a B&M Hyper. The returning bunny hills also slam you back into your seat at the end of each of them, which was one of the coolest moments of the ride. Goliath is an incredible hyper and leagues better than the rest I've ridden; I wish there were more like this out there. 9/10 - everyone is so concerned with whether Orion is a giga they never stopped to ask whether Goliath is a hyper

Airtimes Comfort Intensity
Fantastic B&M hyper! This is by far my favorite B&M as of now. For a B&M hyper, the airtime is surprisingly strong, as are the positive Gs! Goliath even has some whippy moments! As with all B&M hypers, the trains are amazing and the ride is smooth outside of the first few valleys.

Airtimes Lap Bar Intensity
Goliath is just a different breed compared to the rest of the B&M hypers. I’m not a fan of B&M hypers because they feel slow, have weak airtime and are just pretty tame overall, however Goliath is much different. Goliath flies over every hill and is paced quite well, plus there is some intense moments such as the helix and good transitions like the exit of the turnaround before the finale. The main difference however is the airtime. While the drop and first big camelbacks are on par with a typical B&M hyper, the finale is seriously something else. It starts with these 3 mini camelbacks that give great decently sustained ejector before slamming you so hard back into your seat that it starts to hurt your chest before going into this little dip into the brake run that absolutely launches you out of your seat, it honestly rivals the airtime of the RMC in the same park. The ride is also long just as you would expect from a coaster of this model and has those awesome clamshell restraints. These ones also don’t come with a seatbelt but the ops do staple, luckily I did manage to get a decent amount of room and keep it throughout the ride. Overall I was expecting Goliath to be my favorite B&M hyper and a solid ride but it completely blew my expectations out of the water. This coaster is truly elite and finds a very high ranking on my overall list.

First Drop Layout Rattle
A good, solid B&M hyper with a unique layout, particularly the helix. The train has developed a bit of a rattle, though. It's not horrible, but it's definitely noticeable and detracts a bit from the overall fun experience. It was smoother when I rode it five years ago.

Airtimes First Drop Ejectors Rattle
Great B&M and a tight second favorite at SFOG after Twisted Cyclone

Airtimes Intensity Rattle
I hadn’t ridden this thing in years, and man it’s gotten a bit rougher. Still such a good coaster though, it’s shorter than i232 up at Carowinds but packs so much more of a punch! Great airtime on the hills, and man that helix is forceful!

Airtimes Nice surprise! Intensity Rattle Reliability
I was not expecting this to be my favorite B&M hyper but this thing was insane with airtime at the end to the helix in the middle this thing blew me away. also idk what six flags is doing but this thing goes down very 10 minutes its ridiculous especially for a B&M.
-
Airtimes First Drop Intensity
This feels so much different from every other B&M hyper and that really comes to its advantage. While this is a smaller hyper it has way faster pace than the other ones in that it absolutely flies over every hill which all give pretty much ejector in every row in between some great moments of positives highlighted in that super long 540 degree downward helix. There is also no mcbr meaning there isn't really any break in the insanity and the whole coaster just feels so out of control for a B&M.

Airtimes Fun Masterpiece Rattle
This ride is awesome. The lift hill gives you a great view of the park. That drop is underrated and ejected me out of my seat every time. The valleys are a bit rough, but I can still enjoy the g forces on them. The first hill gives you some great sustained airtime. You then drop off the hill and bank left over the road. This turn gives you great positives and it's cool you you get to drive under it. The following hill is like the first, but better as you rise up with airtime and dive towards a dirty lake. You go up another airtime hill that's finished with a 540 degree helix. This helix is relatively forceful and fun. This helix isn't as good as Titan at Six Flags Over Texas's helix but is still a cool and unique way to turn around. The next hill gives you an extremely sustained 4 seconds of air. Following that is a horseshoe turn that looks and feels like an overly aggressive overbank. This leads you into the epic finale: 3 back to back ejector airtime hills. This is my favorite part of the ride. These hills don't mess around. Each one gives you stronger ejector that's the previous. After that is a little turn into a bunny hop that doesn't do much. Then you slide into the brakes

Airtimes Location Fun Rattle
Strong floater on every hill, and on the last 3 hills it’s flojector. Pretty powerful helix that might cause a gray out.
-
This is what a hyper is supposed to be. Tall, fast, and full of air. My favorite B&M hyper.
-
Airtimes Intensity Layout
One of the best hypers there is. The layout is fantastic. The first half of airtime isn't the strongest but the helix is one of the most intense moments on a hyper. From there the second half has a ton of whip and ejector. The best second half of any B&M hyper for sure. The interaction with the park is great because the layout goes everywhere. Also no seat belts is great and allows you to just fly.
-
Airtimes Fun Intensity Disappointing!
This is a solid B&M hyper. The floater is very solid and the final hills actually give some weaker flojector. The helix is very intense and awesome. However, this ride is quite overrated. It does not give ejector like most people say. Overall a very good ride but is not a high tier hyper like most people say

Airtimes Dead spots
8.7 out of 10! Had it’s moments and had it’s dead spots too!

Airtimes Comfort Masterpiece
Just amazing! The best coaster I've ever been on. Incredible airtime on every hill, high-speed and intense, the scenery is gorgeous-- ride during a sunset if you can! He goes out of the park and comes back in which is very cool. The initial climb builds anticipation and lets you marvel at the scenery before you're pulled down into the first drop! You're launched back up into a huge airtime hill, turn, and dive towards the water before going up another hill, giving you more great airtime. Then you head into the helix! The downwards helix is super intense and even made me gray out a few times (I've ridden about 80 times now), but coming out of the helix you enter into another incredible airtime hill which is quite refreshing after those strong G's. You head into an overbanked turn(if you're on the right side of the train this is especially fun) and then into three more hills, all with great airtime, until you pull into the break run. The front seat gives you an amazing view and the anticipation before plunging over the initial drop, the back gives you added intensity as you're pulled into every turn and over the drops. The seats are amazingly comfortable and the clamshell restraints are perfect-- they're nice and secure but you get an extra thrill from not having shoulder harnesses or anything.

Airtimes Comfort Smoothness
Yum! It may not be one of the newer B&M Hypers, but it keeps up with with them easily (except for the first drop perhaps). The ride is smooth for its age and the airtime is very tasty and sustained (quite strong too). The helix is pretty intense and adds more variety to the layout than your average turnaround on one of these coasters. Though there is a bonus turnaround/dive element shortly after which is fab, before you enter the fantastic bunny hill finale. Goliath comes up pretty high in my B&M Hyper rankings mostly because it doesn’t waste a second being anything less than awesome; it may not be the biggest or the longest, but the airtime quality, bonus positive Gs and consistent pace make it very competitive!

Airtimes Location Fun Lap Bar
Goliath is a top 10 coaster for me. It delivers great airtime on every hill (most notably, the hill that hops over the train tracks) and the helix delivers some decent intensity. I love how this coaster creatively goes outside the park and weaves its way back in. However... the ride operators are very strict on this coaster, and have stapled me on all but one time on Goliath (hence the 4.5-star rating, from that single outstanding lap)!
-
Airtimes Comfort Layout Lap Bar
The last time I rode this in the front I got stapled by one of the operators and that's why Lap Bar is one of the cons.
-
Airtimes Comfort Smoothness
After 2 and a half weeks of coasters on the ECC 2006 tour, it's easy to get complacent about getting onto (yet another) ride! This version of Goliath as I remember it was a lot of fun, but equally lacks a stand out feature to take it from merely being "good" to "excellent".

Airtimes Pace Masterpiece
Goliath is an absolutely perfect coaster. The B&M trains are comfortable, high capacity, and spacious. The floater airtime is strong throughout the ride. It shifts from sustained floater in the first three hills to pops of near ejector airtime at the end. It has a huge spiraling helix mid ride, one of only a few B&M hypers to have one, adding a variety of forces. The horseshoe turn is fast and whippy, and there's even an ejector hill into the brakes. Best of all, there's no midcourse brakes. There's no break in pace, the ride is strong from first drop to the very end. The setting is great, soaring over entire coasters, paths, roads, between the trees and skimming over a pond. There's nothing I can think of that's wrong with this ride. It's a perfect coaster.
