Disappointing! Discomfort Pointless

Probably the worst wild mouse I’ve ever been on. The shin guards are really uncomfortable. Not even sure why they’re there because this was the most boring wild mouse ever. Every turn was taken at a snail’s pace.

Except for Inversions and launch, which this ride does not have, I think every con can be applied to this coaster to some degree. I was waiting to meet some people to ride Hang Time and saw this had no queue so we decided to take a quick ride. It sucked. Probably better than that other crazy mouse about 10 minutes south on I5, though.

Fun Duration Discomfort Layout

This ride was somewhat fun for me but nothing too special. It is your typical mouse-type ride with quick 180-degree turns and occasional drops. I thought the first lift went pretty quickly and then took you into an actual decent drop for a mouse ride. You're fairly high up at this point after the drop and do quick turns that make it a bit nerve-wracking if you're any bit afraid of heights. It's also a pretty long ride so you can get some value riding this coaster. The two big cons for this ride are the shin guards that make you sit very uncomfortably and the layout can seem boring after the first few turns. We rode it at least twice so it was worth another ride but I would not sit in an actual line to ride again if the park was busy. 2/5 stars

whats the damn point in this ride being here, tear it down and put a raptor dive...really anything thats not another mack wild mouse. BUT A BLUEFIRE CLONE FOR CHRIST SAKE

My god those shin guards are brutal. The seats are so cramped and tiny. I don’t get why this ride exits, it’s just your basic wild mouse coaster, something Knott’s really doesn’t need. The only real good thing I have to say is that it’s in a nice area of the park.

Coast Rider is brutal. It sucks. If it weren’t for the dreadful shin guards it would be kinda fun I guess. Not too rough, kinda smooth. But it’s just the restraints man, they’re horrible! A new coaster would be a great fit for a replacement of this piece of garbage.

To say I was underwhelmed would be an understatement. This ride fits I the land, and it has a better layout than the traditional rides of its type. The worst part about this coaster is just how boring it is. To wait in line, and sit in cramped seats just for this ride is disappointing. Knotts is a great park with great attractions, but this is not one of them.

So, the first drop isn’t bad and I kinda of enjoyed it. The problem with this ride stems from the terrible restraint system. They use a shin guards on the ride, which really hurt. The theming is really lacking the ride looks pretty rundown. Just a ride that sucks to ride and that is hella painful.

The ride layout is good, the cars look good, and it's in a nice land. The only problem is that the seats are tiny. Your legs will constantly hit the sides of the car, expecially on those tight turns. This is a fun ride if you're small. However, if you aren't a child, this ride will be very uncomfortable.

The car for this is comically small, and it bangs you around quite a bit. Pretty mediocre even as far as wild mouse coasters go.

Disappointing!

I am not bothered by the shin guards, but if I were, then I could totally call this by far the worst ride I've ever ridden. You will not feel airtime or laterals on this Wild Mouse... strange since these are the hallmarks of a common installation of this model. The hard hitting trims present neuter the forces to an extent where there are no forces felt. Thus providing a forceless experience. Timberline Twister is an all around stronger ride than this.

Ouch. That's the perfect description of this wild mouse. I liked the Technic Coaster but there's something called SHIN GUARDS which ruin the experience. If you have little kids with you, ride it because they like it.

Would be my favorite wild mouse if it wasn't for those godawful shin bar restraints

Discomfort Pointless

This is by far the worst Wild Mouse I've ever ridden. The restraints are incredibly uncomfortable. The ride fails to produce the laterals strongly associated with Wild mouses. The drops aren't exciting. It's smooth I guess. That's basically the only redeeming factor on this ride.

Discomfort Lap Bar

Not good, even as far as Wild Mouse coasters are concerned. The restraints have a totally unnecessary shin/ankle restraint in addition to the lap-bar that is so insanely uncomfortable that it's likely that you're going to hobble off this ride worse than you got on solely due to the restraints. This is a Wild Mouse, not a B&M Flyer; I would not recommend for anyone larger than a 12 year old. A Wild Mouse isn't worth the pain.
