Airtimes Launch Hangtime Capacity Reliability
This really should be called Hangtime the ride. That jo-jo is one of if not the king of Hangtime moments.now I might sound weird but the launch is forceful. What I don’t like is its reliability. One time I was about to get on and it broke down. So if carowinds can fix this and Carolina cyclone. It would be great. Also the theming is spectacular.

Theming Inversions Hangtime
Great coaster! A long ride with two launches.
-
Lap Bar Hangtime Launch
Mack with their stupid launches but it makes up with the hangtime.
-
Inversions Layout Ejectors
Copperhead is such a fun multi launch with a long plethora of great hangtime and even some whip filled inversions, awesome ejector pops, decent positives and nice laterals as well as some launches that are pretty fun and don't suck. Definitely no maverick but a super fun mack coaster and a great compliment to Carowinds lineup.

Airtimes Intensity Hangtime
This was a really awesome ride filled with awesome ejector and sustained hangtime. It also provided snappy transitions which I always love

Fun Ejectors Hangtime
I’m typically a back row guy for forces, but this one in the front was game changing, especially after warming up later in the day. Somehow has amazing positive forces that are good for juxtaposition for the intense ejector pops throughout the layout. Visually stunning ride :)

Airtimes Inversions Launch
I was not expecting to love this coaster as much as I do, but it’s easily my number 2 coaster at Carowinds. My only experience with MACK rides before this was Ricochet and Slinky Dog Dash, so I went in with low expectations and had them blown out of the water. The stall airtime you get on almost every inversion is fantastic, and the ejector airtime you get setting in the back row is insane! The launches are great, the mid course one being the better of the two. Overall an awesome coaster, I ride it every time I come to Carowinds.

Hands down the best hangtime you will ever have on a coaster. At the end of the day it's Maverick but it goes upside down more and has a worse launch

Airtimes Smoothness Hangtime Dead spots
Copperhead has some incredible hangtime and even some great airtime!! Some parts of the coaster are a little boring though.

Theming Comfort Hangtime Dead spots
The launches were more forceful than I was expecting, and the three great moments of hangtime (heartline roll, 1st loop, cutback/inverted tophat) compliment the two ejector hills (as I anticipated, the one right after the first loop, but unexpectedly there's that bunny hop just before the brakes). The ride overall has solid positive Gs, with a few unexpectedly snappy transitions (most notably the one immediately following the Stengel Dive through the first loop, favorite moment on the ride) and airtime pops that keep the coaster fresh and exciting. Carowinds also did a good job with theming this coaster and its queue, it's certainly a welcome departure from most of the park aesthetics-wise and I'd love to see more. While it may not be absurdly intense, Copperhead Strike is an all-around fun ride with a bit of everything peppered in.

Inversions Fun Hangtime Capacity
My #1 Roller Coaster....when I rode it in August in 98 degree weather. If you ride it when it's been running for a while and is super hot, this thing throws you around, whips you, chucks you out on ejector, and still gives great hangtime. I couldn't fathom how people said this ride has dead spots when I rode it in August. I rode it on halloween when it was about 60 degrees, and it was substantially slower. Still a great coaster, more hangtime, but some of the turns did feel relatively forceless. Still huge fun, and still my 3rd favorite when it's running slower. Amazing as a warmup coaster or if you're afraid of heights and still want a really fun ride.

Intensity Layout Hangtime
This ride is very underrated. While it may not be as intense as Maverick, it isn't that far off in my opinion. Yes the launches are rather weak, but everything around them is amazing. It has insane hangtime, strong ejector airtime, fun laterals, snappy transitions, and very underrated positive gs. I can't understate how surprised I was by the intensity of this ride. There are lots of random turns that don't look like they do anything, but they are surprisingly intense on ride. Put these turns in between all the other great elements and forces, and you have a very relentless coaster. All of this is packed into a well paced, fun, compact layout, that left me impressed after every ride. Don't sleep on this ride.

Airtimes Fun Hangtime Launch
This is an excellent multi launch coaster. While then launches didn't do anything for me, the airtime this ride provided is excellent, and this is by far the best coaster for hangtime I've experienced with the vertical loops and that insane jojo roll out of the station

Airtimes Fun Hangtime
Copperhead Strike is one of the better launch coasters I’ve done. The launches aren’t the most forceful but that’s to be expected. The ride is based on hangtime with airtime and whip mixed it. The jojo roll to start is fantastic with the lap bars as you hang upside down for so long. The first launch is weak but had a bit more kick then I expected. The first loop gives awesome hangtime the whole way through and then into an airtime hill filled with ejector. You then go into a whippy corkscrew and turn through a twisted mess of turns with positives and laterals. The second launch hits and it also isn’t great but the airtime hill in the middle of it provides a nice pop. You then pop up into a small inverted top hat. The top hat gives some great hangtime just like the other inversions. The second loop has some more speed to it then the others but you still get a little bit of hang. The rest of the ride features more laterals and positives thoroughly and one last awesome pop before the break run. 9/10 for the theming, laterals, hangtime, and little airtime moments scattered throughout.

Theming Launch Hangtime Capacity
What a fun ride. Some of the best hangtime you'll experience on a coaster, and with 2 solid launches. The theming is also great, especially for Cedar Fair standards. The turns and loops provide some nice positive Gs. Its compact layout reminded me a lot of Maverick, but considerably less intense. The JoJo roll at the beginning of the ride makes you almost fall out of your seat. Definitely do not miss this one while at Carowinds.

Airtimes Comfort Hangtime
I couldn't disagree more that this coaster has dead spots of any kind. The hangtime on this coaster alone is legendary and should be enough to put it into the upper echelon, but then you have absolute smacks of airtime and positives too. The fact that Copperhead Strike accomplishes such a wide variety of really strong forces while making the train and setting comfortable enough to not intimidate younger riders is to its credit. One of the best all-around roller coasters out there today.

Airtimes Inversions Hangtime Launch
copperhead strike is an excellent fit for the line up, but is not by any means the best launched rollercoaster. While it offers a fun, thrilling, and action packed layout, its launches are not part of the action, nor were they ever meant to be. Mack multi launch coasters suffer from forceless launches as that is not the main focus of the ride. The theming is fun and the story of the theme is quirky as all get out but still very good. The ride is packed with hangtime but an overlooked factor is the 3 or 4 great ejector airtime moments on the ride. Overall this is a great coaster and is one of the best at the park, but it still pales in comparison to intamin and gerstlaur launch coasters.

Theming Layout Hangtime
Nothing negative to say. There needs to be more like this in the States. Really different layout and an all-around solid coaster. Does nothing poorly, pacing is great and varied throughout. Moments of inversions, bonkerz hangtime, intensity, air, not to mention the great theming. Awesome and complete ride.

Theming Fun Hangtime
This coaster is a nice surprise. It starts out with a "JoJo" roll which is a heart-line roll that comes before a lift or launch. It's really slow and if you're not stapled it can feel like you're about to fall out of the restraints. Then it has a little pre-launch show of a bunch of hillbilly's getting their panties in a twist about some snakes dun got loose. It slithers into a slow loop and corkscrew that have some killer hang time. Another launch sends you into a nice girthy cutback and hangtime loop. The ride continues to serpentine around until it returns to the station. I recommend riding this one like a rag-doll and letting your limbs flail about all loose, it adds another element to the ride experience.

Airtimes Lap Bar Hangtime Dead spots
Really fun ride with some insane hangtime that starts immediately out of the station into the jojo roll; from there you go through the incredibly mild launch that seems to be perfectly tuned to have you barely clear that first vertical loop, giving you insane hangtime again at its apex. From there you go through the layout of snappy inversions, turns, airtime moments, and one final loop towards the end. While this ride does so much right, I can't help but feel that it's just lacking in the intensity department in certain spots, as well as the ride as a whole to a lesser degree. I kept on wishing it would would be a little more intense, but that just doesn't seem to be what the ride is about.

Inversions Comfort Hangtime Reliability
This ride was fantastic and impossibly smooth. The heartline roll just out of the station had insane hangtime and a perfect representation of what to come. The building you go into for the launch was beautifully themed and a nice look into the Carolinas’ history; copperheads and kettles make for a great, rustic theme! The Plymouth in the queue line was a beautiful touch. After the first launch, you blast your way into the vertical loop (hangtime, friend or foe, is a huge part of this coaster). This ride is surprisingly smooth compared to the Fury 325, but these were built different years and by different companes, so it is hard to really compare them. This ride has fantastic pops of ejector airtime, 5! inversions, and a beautiful second launch situated over an airtime hill. I recommend this ride for all ages and all coaster enthusiasts. Ride wait on a cool summer night during the weekday was about 30 minutes, even with the ride needing maintenance.

Launch Harness Hangtime
The incredible hangtime on the JoJo roll, where I felt like I'd fall to the ground the first time I rode it, is a good indication for how the ride will go. It's far from a one trick pony, though, with a fantastic launch and a few solid moments of airtime.
