Launch Rattle Discomfort

The launch on this coaster is incredible and right up there with other great launches such as stealth and Red force, the issue is that after the launch as soon as it goes into the main part of the layout it becomes very rough to the point that after the first couple of S bends I was just hoping the ride would stop soon. I don’t know if it was just the seat I happened to be sat in etc but I wouldn’t be too keen on re riding to find out any time soon

Nice surprise! Launch Intensity Rattle

The launch on this coaster will absolutely blow you away. The rest of the ride has a rattle, but is almost entirely a near-miss with the surrounding cliffs, including the "secret" inline twist. A must ride.

Theming Launch Intensity Headbanging Too short

Furius Baco! That dang ride that always has 2+ hour waits! Located right at the entrance of the wonderful PortAventura Park, in the Mediterranean area, let's start off by saying the theming of this rollercoaster is PHENOMENAL. SPOT on. From the entrance, to the waiting lines, to the music, to the short film at the beginning of the ride and the monkey hanging out at the end of the ride, you exit through an actual winery where you can buy wine too! PortAventura really nailed the theming & immersion for Furius Baco. The launch is great as well, absolutely no warning and fantastically intense yet smooth. Furius Baco is the only rollercoaster I've been on where you actually launch 135km/h onto a drop. Wow! Unfortunately however Furius Baco does not offer more than that. The ride experience after the amazing start is just filled with right & left turns that hurt more than anything really. The headbanging is very present especially on the outer seats. No wonder why Intamin never re-made a Launched Wing Coaster. On top of that, the experience is very short. Furius Baco operations are okay though! To end on a good note however, Furius Baco is definitely a ride not to skip. The theming & launch are incredible. Try going later on in the day since everyone queues for Furius Baco right at 10 AM. Check out Shambhala or Dragon Khan (which open a little while after) in the meantime because Furius Baco will always have a long wait time, whether it's morning or afternoon.

Theming Fun Too short

Very very very underrated. I love how you soar in between the canyon at such high speeds, especially as it’s a wing coaster. Great theming too. I don’t get where the rough complaint comes from, and I’ve ridden it three times. I think the layout was a bit short which is my only real issue with the ride. It’s a shame Intamin didn’t make more winged rides like furious baco, as the model had a lot more potential.

Launch Harness Rattle

I think this could have been a much better coaster. Although the launch is nice and the vest restraint on this is surprisingly good the high speed of the ride causes a major rattle which disrupts the riding experience. I think this coaster would be better off with a lower high speed. It is worth one ride though just for that launch which is amazing.

A very intense coaster with a phenomenal launch. The ride is very rough and it rattles all the time. The vest restraint is quite okay and gave me no headbanging. The heartline roll is passed with high speed which is a lot of fun.

Furius Baco may have great theming, launch and inversion, it can be a very uncomfortable and rough experience which can cause a Furius Backache! The trains are well themed but the Intamin over the shoulder restraints can be really uncomfortable especially towards the end of the ride if stapled. The turns are quite intense and pull good positive g forces even though they can be really uncomfortable and rough if you sit in a bad seat. If you sit in a good row, the ride isn't that bad, but the rattle is still there. This wing coaster isn't the worst ride ever but it's not amazing, so it is a decent coaster overall with its pros and cons.

Launch Fun Rattle Discomfort Layout

Probably one of my most memorable coaster experiences of recent times - I had no idea what this ride was, so imagine my surprise when I got hit by the intensity and speed of the launch! It’s admittedly super rough and has a few dead spots but it’s definitely worth a ride - it’s just fun! The lake section is great on the left side too. A must ride, but probably not one you’ll be able to repeat much!

Really odd ride, the theming is confusing and it's very rough, doesn't take advantage of the wing coaster design at all, and barely gathers any height from all that speed

Yeah...it has juxtaposing properties. Yes the location looks great, fun launch, pace was suitable as the coaster stays low to the ground. Elements were kind of meh and random. The rattle and shaking in the first banked curve was overtaking the joy I had unfortunately. Could be better Intamin...

Theming Launch Intensity Discomfort

Better than I remembered some years ago. The theming is outstanding, with that catchy soundtrack and the eerie story, which perfectly fits the ride, and those nice trains and awesome preshow help make it more credible. The winged trains are a nice plus, and not having a floor forced intamin to leave some comfortable leg room ;). However, they are not very comfy (my issue wasn't with the harness, but with the seats and their too straight back), and, as expected, if you get an outer sit and/or any row other than the front one, the ride can be quite rattly. I didn't mind it a lot, however, even though it was a bit painful and it wouldn't be adviseable to marathon (might have unpleasant consequences). Unfortunately, there are always long queues on the mornings, due to its location, but on the afternoons it calms down a bit. As for the coaster itself, it is definetely intense, you really feel the speed, it's fast paced, the launch is great (my favourite so far) and you even get some airtime after it. The inversion offers great hangtime, which I'm a massive fan of, but it can be a bit uncomfortable, especially if you ride an outer sit. Perhaps it feels too short, right, but if it were any longer, people on the outer back sits wouldn't survive, would they? On the whole, a great winged launched coaster, highly recommendable if you are willing to look past that little discomfort.

I really enjoyed it. The queues are insanely long on this ride although it’s pretty much worth it as long as you go when the queue is less than 1 hr. The entire experience is full of themeing and is overall a great experience. As for the ride, it’s a extremely intense launch coaster. It maintains an insane pace throughout the whole ride although it can be a little rough and rattles a little. Definitely a must do for everyone who enjoys rides though

A disappointing ride, the only pro was the launch and the theming. Apart from that it was just a lot of rattling and dissapointment, not to mention the length of the ride. Unfortunate as I was looking forward to it

Theming Location Launch Rattle Headbanging Harness

Hmmm, difficult to rate this one: first of all, theming is done beautifully and the preshow with the quirky storyline is also very nice. Additionally, the launch is very powerful and the terrain-hugging layout is also very cool. However, the ride has a strong rattle throughout the whole layout which is a bit annoying on the inner seats and almost painful on the outer ones. The restraints are also rather uncomfortable, especially during the inversion. This bizarre ride has its strenghts and its flaws, but overall, it is alright.

Furius Baco features the best launch I’ve ever experienced, a great location in the trenches and on the lake, as well as a fantastic in-line twist with lots of whip. But that’s where the positives stop. The rest of the ride is very, very rough. Going through those first turns before the inversion, my ribcage got rattled the entire time to the point where I would sometimes come off the ride almost in pain. Without this roughness, this would be a fantastic attraction, since those two moments are amazing.

Absolutely loved this coaster, even if it does bash you about. It maintains it's speed after the punchy launch. The seating arrangement is unique for a coaster this fast and made the trip to the park worthwhile.

Excellent coaster que j'ai eu la chance de faire tout devant. Il a tout pour être un excellent coaster sauf la durée, il est trop court malheureusement. Sans oublier qu'en été on fait environ 1h30 de queue c'est assez dommage d'en finir aussi vite

Theming Inversions Launch Pointless Dead spots Layout

This ride wasn't even that rough for me, I found it had a slight bite to it, but nothing too bad. But what made this coaster not as impressive for me was the rather boring and uneventful layout. While the launch is decent, I prefer the likes of Stealth and Rock N Roller Coaster personally. The ride - while fast - does nothing with the speed. No real positive force of any kind, not negatives or laterals, just, wandering around the terrain. The twisted hill is ok, the roll is actually a quality inversion, but then the swooping turn over water does nothing for me.

The launch is ridiculously intense and has like 4.7 Gs on it. However, on the inline twist it dug into my stomach and caused really terrible pain. And, obviously, it is the roughest coaster in the park and mabye in Spain. I wouldn't go on this ride again.

Cool theme and launch. Proper intense ride ruined by a boring layout mainly just turns and roughness in all rows apart from the front.

This is a good ride! Wish it could have been a bit longer. And smoother. My advice is wait until near the end of the day to ride - it's right at the entrance, so it's gonna be pretty busy. When you do that, just hope you get an inner-middle seat, for a comfortable ride experience.

Launch Pace Intensity Rattle

First of all, the positives absolutely outweigh the negatives. Baco has a powerful hydraulic launch followed by a terrain hugging and unique layout which gives a tremendous sense of speed. The ride isn't too short as it leaves you wanting more without subjecting you to too much at one time. Yes, it has a bit of a rattle if you don't sit in the front row but I can look past that with ease, as it's still the best hydraulic launch coaster I've done! The bizarre theme is just the icing on the cake; it's so outlandish and so very Spanish, I love it! I hate to break it to you, but if you dismiss Baco because it's got a bit of extra character, then you don't know what a good coaster really is. To be honest, any discomfort could easily be fixed by a restraint overhaul - give it the soft Intamin vests and people will stop whining about the ride so much. Ultimately, it's like kinky sex. It can be rough and give you some bruises, but still kinda fun when you sit back and enjoy the ride.

What a piece of crap. The theming is really nice and the launch is very forceful. That's the only good things I can say about this coaster. So bad. Really rough an painful. The worst part was the inline-twist. It really really hurts in your middle. I absolutely hate this coaster.

Furius Baco is an amazing coaster. The pre show is intriguing and the theme is unique. The launch is fantastic and the ride that follows is intense and the roll give some great hangtime. Really underrated and a really re rideable coaster for me.

This was a positive surprise. It was great to feel that amazing of a launch with nothing below your dangling feet (going barefoot is recommended - nice footchopper moments). The rest of the ride to me is only great in the first row, but it is fantastic there. The hangtime in the inversion is as beautiful as the overall scenery and the speed is amazing. Layout-wise it is neither long nor interesting enough for a higher rating, but it is definitely one of those coasters that slam you into the brakes and you are just pumped and want to ride again. Just make sure to go front row. Did not try it in the very back just to see if it's really unbearable there, in the front it is very fine, if indeed not smooth at all.

It has great hydraulic launch. Really great. But after that, only turns near the ground, nothing special. In the outer place - terribly headbanging and painful. In the inner - acceptable.

Inversions Fun Intensity

Very good launch coaster.

Very potent launch and well thought out use of the wing coaster format; getting you very close to the ground at high speed and a couple of fun inversions. HOWEVER, ruined, by 1) dreadful capacity 2) dreadful operations and 3) by being right next to the main gate therefore the queue line is inevitably over-long all hours of the day.

Launch Pace Intensity Airtimes

Only con is the airtimes which you would expect from a launch coaster of this type. I have risen fastest launches however a front row on this has got to be the most intense as the launch starting inside really hits hard.

Theming Launch Intensity Rattle Headbanging

I don’t care if it rattles too much, i just love this ride. The launch and the long barrel are perfect. The rattling actually fits with the story of the ride. Tip: The seat on the inside are less shaky

Launch Discomfort

Most people don't like the rattle (or vibrations) on this ride, especially in the outer seats. Well, at least it is a short ride, so headaches might not occur. I like the really intensive launch though and the setting with the lake and the vineyard is also nice.
