Theming Capacity Fun
Not the most exciting ride, but the theming is very cool.

Theming Nice surprise! Fun Layout
This ride is mostly a dark ride but there is a small coaster section in the start. There isn't many practical sets on ride but some of the effects and screens do a good job story telling and the 3d effects are good enough to make up for the screen overuse. The first drop with the tilt track is insane and is followed by a couple fun twist + turns. That is it for coaster though as this is mostly a dark ride. I don't mind that but thats why I put a layout as a con since it isnt much of a coaster. Still, an awesome ride, featuring a launch too.

Theming Disappointing! Dead spots Layout
I get that this is TECHNICALLY a coaster but it's basically a dark ride, and not even a good one at that. Too much use of screens, which is a let down after the absolutely AMAZING queue. You feel like you're in the books/movies it is incredible but the ride is not good at all.

First Drop Theming Smoothness Dead spots
The theming on this ride is great, although when i rode it, I barely even considered it a coaster. The first drop takes you by surprise, but the rest of the ride is a bit too reliant on screens, much like many of the other rides at Universal Studios. Still, it was a great ride, although not for the thrill.

Theming Fun Dead spots
It’s a great ride if you appreciate it for what it is. Sure, it would be nice if there were more and longer coaster sections. But the main focus of this ride is to appeal to younger children. The theming and storyline are great. Look at this as a dark ride, not a coaster, and you will come off satisfied. Also, it’s a launch coaster, dive coaster, spinning coaster, dark ride, and a 4D coaster.

Theming Fun
The theming in this coaster is phenomenal. The queue is absolutely amazing and the ride itself is too. There isn't a ton of coaster to it but the portions it does have are pretty fun. The story is great and the use of screens meshed with physical set pieces is done well.

Theming Fun
Honestly, there aren´t many bad things about this ride, the thing is, this is more of a dark ride than a coaster. Regardless, it is a really fun ride

Theming Nice surprise! Fun Dead spots Intensity
Very immersive. The drop itself was forceless, but it was still awesome because of the the setting/theming. Though except for the drop, it feels like a dark ride.

Theming
Cool concept and theming is on point for the park but is ruined by the use of so many screens. It’s below average as far as coasters go

Rode it 5 years ago when I was gp. I've changed so much since then.

Theming Fun Masterpiece
While many dread screens on Universal Attractions, there are three that I believe utilize them to their fullest. Transformers does the minimum to make it effective, Spider-Man does the maximum, and Gringotts is somewhere in the middle. However, this ride has the benefit of having awesome coaster sections and speed, and as such doesn't break down nearly as often! There are so many excellent moments with Voldemort's giant fireball spell, the trolls launching you away, Mr. Weasley launching you away with a triumphant "Wingardium Leviosa!", Bellatrix making the track tilt down in a very rare coaster element, and the finale where the Norwegian Ridgeback launches you out of the Bank. Plus, the queue is one of the best in the world with a mini-ride midway through, and the onride soundtrack goes harder than the other Potter attractions. While my first rides left me disappointed, I now fully appreciate this attraction.

First Drop Theming Dead spots
The theming is really what makes Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts such a good ride. In terms of a coaster, it’s a very unique but forceless ride; but in terms of a darkride, it is one of the best in the world! The short tilt track segment is the only one of its kind in America and starts this coaster off with a bang, although the rest of Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts feels hardly like a coaster and more-so like a darkride with rotating seats. I used to be a huge fan of Harry Potter around 5 years ago, so I’m glad to having recognized who and what was going on at the Gringotts bank during my ride. Overall, this is my 2nd favorite ride at Universal Orlando Resort (just behind Harry Potter and Forbidden Journey) and absolutely worth an hour’s wait!

Theming Harness Disappointing!
Another instance of Universal pushing style over substance too far, I don't really class this as a rollercoaster. It isn't an unpleasant ride, but utterly forgettable. Considering the "similar", but superb Mummy is just round the corner from it I was expecting more from this. Our first ride on this was in the front row, which I found involved much neck-craning to watch the film on the run into the first drop. I am sure that it is only a matter of time that someone will suffer problems from the drop-and-turn into the dark while trying to watch the effects. A later repeat ride in the back row was better for being able to see the effects. The restraints are somewhat condensed, combined lap-and-ankle bar affairs that cause difficulties for access for decidedly average sized people too. My favourite aspect of the whole ride was walking into the lobby of the bank, in the queue line. For a major ride by an operator with basically unlimited budget, a real miss in my book.

Not so much a coaster, but an excellent themed dark ride that appealed to me even though I know nothing about Harry Potter

Theming Nice surprise! Too short Intensity
Really enjoyed it the first time..but some rides are better than others depending which car you're in (more force on the "spins").. Would be better if the drop was bigger and the "launch" was more powerful.. But theming all throughout is amazing !
