Fun Duration
I was 5 when I rode this so I don't remember much, but this is a really adorable ride! Left / Tomorrowland is better

Same as the right in my opinion....

Theming Rattle
I have ridden this many times but the most recent time I have ridden this which was January of 2018, it was rough. This ride gets a (D out of S tier)

This ride has some laterals, although barely any airtime. The final drop is the best part of the ride imo (which is saying a lot).

Theming Masterpiece Duration Rattle Discomfort
It had a good duration and theming and is one of the most important roller coasters in roller coaster history but the valleys and turns were very rough and uncomfortable

Nice old bobsled, first steel coaster so in that regard super revolutionary. Great theming and pretty fun

Theming Layout Rattle Discomfort
The first tubular steel coaster built in 1959 is exactly what you would expect. The updated trains don’t do much to help the bumpiness and uncomfortableness, but it’s a classic coaster with some great theming and views of Disneyland. It’s nostalgic, Harold the abominable snowman is updated, and the ride is enjoyable despite the roughness, and I hope they never get rid of it. The left side is definitely faster and sharper on the turns.

Fun Intensity Duration Discomfort Airtimes
Some people might say Matterhorn is too bumpy, although I may agree, it definitely adds to the ride experience. Since the restraints are only seatbelts, and the turns are really bumpy, it gives a completely out of control feeling. I love the intensity of the this ride and the bumpiness adds a lot. There also is great theming and the turns are really sharp. All in all, a surprisingly intense coaster with solid ride time.

Theming Discomfort Tear it down!
I have always watched POVs for this ride and since I was about five years old wanted to ride it real bad. 2022 I finally got the chance to travel 10000km and ride one side of matterhorn bobsleds. Unfortunately I have nothing positive to say about this rather than the concept of it being set in a mountain but the track is so bad that you can't even notice it while getting beaten up. Not even going to bother to try the other side.

Line moves slow but really fun ride. Sharp drops and turns, great theming and location in the park, awesome effects and animatronics, and a fun splash at the end.

Theming Location Fun Rattle Discomfort
It's fun and well themed, but it was much rougher than I remember it being when I rode the right side 6 years ago. I don't know if they got different cars or something, or if I've just gotten older, but it came as a bit of a surprise to me.

Theming Location Pace Rattle Discomfort
(Same review for both sides - I prefer the left side ever so slightly but they're essentially the same) Classic ride with some of the best theming you'll ever see. I wish they would fix the rattling and jerkiness issues sometime - this coaster is from the 50s! I love the brand new yeti animatronics and the super dark portions. Overall though, very fun and breathtaking, with great environmental storytelling, though it's my least favorite of the major coasters in Disneyland resort.

Theming Location Fun
A classic. Good airtime in some spots and lats with theming in the others. The location in the mountain is amazing and the ride is gorgeous. Just a fun classic ride that you can’t go wrong with.

Theming Pace Duration Discomfort Intensity
The Matterhorn is a good ride at Disneyland but it has seen much better days. The great things about it are its fantastic theming and how innovative it was, being the first roller coaster to use steel tubular tracks. It is not an intense ride, but what else would you expect from a roller coaster built all the way back in 1959? The main problem with this ride is how rough it is, this ride could seriously benefit from a retracking because the transitions are not smooth, and it could use new breaks because the ones it currently has are too jerky.

Theming Fun Masterpiece Rattle
Matterhorn Bobsleds is a very special ride given its historical significance and quality. The on-ride theming is spectacular even by todays standards, and I can only imagine what people must have thought back in 1959 when it first opened. The interaction between the two sides and the tight, twisty layout make this a solid thrill coaster. The length and pacing of this coaster are also strong points, as the ride is long and keeps its speed through the whole layout. The main issue that detracts from the fun experience are the jerky transitions which exist on all of Arrow's early creations. You get jolted to the side with every turn (which there are a lot of) and there is a significant rattle throughout the entire layout. However, this may actually be fun for some people as it makes the ride more wild. I prefer the left track and have ridden that the most because I think it has a more interesting layout. On either side though, you get a fun splash down at the end which doesn't get you too wet. Aside from the rattle, this is an overall excellent family/thrill coaster which I hope stays around for many more decades.

Theming Rattle Discomfort
Matterhorn Bobsleds is a fun ride, but not a particularly good roller coaster. Disneyland has never been able to make the trains comfortable. The ride is really old, and that can be apparent in the roughness of the track. However, the dueling aspect is really fun, and it blends thrill and theming pretty well. It's a very good ride, and an okay coaster.
