Launch Fun Hangtime
One Of My First Looping Coaster This is a fun ride. Located in the Fiesta Village section of the park, this Schwarzkopf Shuttle Loop, last of it's kind in the US, is surrounded by well themed rides, and the Zierer family coaster Jaguar even passes through the loop! Now, about the ride experience, the launch the strongest, but it's sustained and just throws you into that vertical loop, which delivers some sweet hangtime. You head into a spike where riders experience mild floater in the Front of the train, and then you repeat the loop, and enter another spike, where this time you reach the top most of the time. Overall, it's perfect for what it is, short and sweet, and an iconic coaster, . And of course, the lap bar is a plus. In my Review I Give Montezooma's Revenge 10/10 i will rereview in 2023 when it reopens as monteZOOMa's revenge: the forbidden fortress

Launch Fun
This coaster is awesome, the launch is exceptional and it's kind of upsetting to me that it's not being preserved, the first loop was pretty intense and the first spike was the only "dull" part of the ride to me. After going through the same intense loop again you speed down the launch and go full speed into that back spike. Even though nothing is happening during this straight segment, the speed and pacing of the ride at that point just makes it so fun. Then you speed all the way up that back spike, this is my favorite part of the ride, I love just taking in the view and waving to people on the ground. I'm very sad that this coaster isn't being preserved better, but hopefully the 2023 MonteZOOMa: The Forbidden Fortress is as good or even better than this version.

Fun Intensity Layout
I love Schwarzkopf looping coasters. I love Schwarzkopf trains. I love going backwards. Put all three of things together and it is no surprise that I love this coaster. It is just such a different experience than the vast majority of modern coasters. It is comfortable and thrilling. There is something magical about a Schwarzkopf loop. I don't know if they just nailed the math perfectly or what, but they are more thrilling than any other loops. The sudden surges of acceleration as nature intended is fantastic. Going through the loop backwards always leaves me with a huge smile on my face. I hope this classic stays is working form for many years to come.

Launch Rattle Too short Reliability
This coaster is just fine. It’s a typical boomerang style launch coaster with minimal intensity and just one inversion. My biggest complaint is that it never seems to be open. I’ve been to Knotts a couple times, and it’s usually closed. I hear that it’s hit and miss with the operation. When it is running though, this thing is loud. Not much intensity and a boring track layout make this one of Knotts’ weaker coasters in the lineup.

Fun Layout
I rode it like 6 years ago, but I don’t remember much. I did like it as a kid, but give a much better rating until I ride it again.

Launch Layout Too short
Fun little quick coaster with a really cool loop around the otherwise useless Jaguar!'s track. I enjoy this one despite it's length.
-
Launch Fun Intensity
The launch has some good kick and the loop is forceful both times you go through. The spikes are cool but I can’t put it higher then a lot of other Schwarzkopfs I’ve done because of how short it is.

It doesn't do much but everything it does is executed pretty well and the loop is quite intense. The launch was surprisingly good too.

Lap Bar Inversions Launch Too short
Though quite short, this ride still show Schwarzkopf's masterful engineering. A smooth launch, a forceful loop, and a fun backwards section. I'm glad this coaster is still around.

Launch
I've only ridden this once back in 2013, so I don't remember much, but I know it is a fun ride. The intensity of the launch and loop are solid, the then going backwards it is also fun. This is much smoother than boomerangs while also being older which is another positive. I will need to get back on this ride again to give more detail.

Launch Too short
Montezooma's Revenge packs a lot of fun into a very, very short layout. The spikes deliver fun airtime. The loop is powerful. The launch is powerful. Everything about this ride is really well done. There just isn't very much to it. It's just launch, back, and done. Montezooma doesn't try to be a big coaster, but it is very good for what it is.

Launch Too short
Ride's definitely a lot better when you're sitting in the back.
