Inversions Intensity Layout Rattle
Fairly typical B&M invert - good and quite intense layout, amazing capacity, can be a bit rattly. Theming exists but there isn't much.
-
Intensity Layout
Definitely a good ride, often overshadowed by the original Nemesis. While not as imposing as the original (unfortunately didn't get to ride it as it was under maintenance when I went), it still gives a good, relatively smooth ride.

-
Inversions Intensity Smoothness Theming
Honestly its a bit better than the original it this point. Fair bit smoother and it's getting there in intensity. Merlin don't close this one, cheers!

Inversions Pace Intensity
Rode it 10:30 in the morning towards the middle of the train, without expecting much. It was a very well paced and smooth coaster experience with some decent whip on the inversions and some G's. Quite fun. However, I was left with the desire to try it after some warm-up time, and when I got to ride it at five-ish p.m. the following day, I was left speechless. Boy, did it warm up. Both corkscrews and the zero-g-roll pulled great whippy laterals, and every single valley and turn was filled with insane positive G's. Not sustained, but very powerful; the kind that make your face skin stretch downwards. I'd only experienced such G's on the batman clone, just on one spot, that I remember, so, yeah, Inferno IS intense. And the pacing is amazing. I'd say Katun is still slightly better because of the drops, duration and more sustained forces, but Inferno is a close competitor. Now I can't wait to ride the original Nemesis, I can't imagine how insane it must be. Btw, theming on this coaster is nice, the jungle foliage and volcano rockwork on the queue look nice. Top 2 coaster at the park, tied with Swarm, Saw and Stealth xD
-
Headbanging Intensity
This is like its sister at Alton Towers but without the great theming. I don't enjoy the headbanging and it's too intense for me.
-
Theming Inversions Intensity
You can't go wrong with a B&M invert, and this is no exception. Very whippy and intense with some nice landscaping. Its also very smooth.
-
Theming Capacity Discomfort
A normally good ride, but in the back row can have a very noticeable rattle which is quite excessive.
-
Theming Inversions Layout
This was THE coaster that got me into theme parks as a whole which probably gives me a bias towards it. I hate the fact that everyone compares it to nemesis, and while yes they share a name I think the rides are very different experiences which do not need comparing.
-
Capacity Nice surprise! Layout Rattle
inferno is a fun ride but not as good as its counterpart at alton.
-
Inversions Layout Headbanging
Sadly, compared to my rides on this last year - this boy is progressively getting rougher. The headbangs on this are starting to rival colossus - and I feel alone in this finding. Think this is partially due to the restraints being a poor fit for me too. More comfortable on inside seats and has a very strong first half which deadens in the latter half. It is, obviously, no match for Reborn. Theming is okay, but needs some touching up really.
-
Inversions Pace Too short Dead spots
Got a front and back row ride on Nemesis Inferno and was pleasantly surprised by the beginning of the ride which is the most heavily themed and the mist is delightfully cooling on a warm day. The layout after the chainlift contains some really snappy inversions that throw you through their loops and corkscrews but it's too short and meanders in parts to get back to it's destination. Space was clearly an issue as the coaster has a relatively small footprint but it's missing a few tricks to put it up there with it's more famous older brother. The seats and restraints were comfortable as usual for a B&M inverted coaster which comes as no surprise to anyone. Still, I would highly recommend this ride as long as the queue doesn't exceed thirty minutes.

Inversions Fun Layout Airtimes
One of the best inverted coaster i've been on,nice inversions and a good intensity,i didn't appreciate a lot the first drop and the operations was slow
-
Fun Intensity Rattle
Nemesis inferno is a decent ride, the last time I rode it I found it quite intense. When I rode it their was a slight rattle but apart from that it's great.
-
Intensity Disappointing! Layout
Always hated this ride for being a duller version of Nemesis, but I rode on the front for the first time today and even though what it does is very disappointing it was much more intense! Loop, Helix’s and Corkscrews all very Positive G heavy, ranked half a star higher because of this!
-
Fun Headbanging
This is a mostly smooth coaster but in certain points my head hit the restraints and gave me a terrible headache. But overall it's a nice invert that surpassed the expectations.
-
Compact B&M invert that is reasonably forceful. Not as intense as a batman clone, but probably better themed.
-
Location Fun Headbanging
Great, underrated coaster. Super fun layout, and the mist before the lift hill cools you down in the heat. However, being sat in the far right, front row, I did experience some headbanging, however not quite as bad as Saw the ride. The theming is absolutely great and you get a good view of the park.
-
Theming Inversions Intensity Rattle Dead spots Layout
good intense ride but not the best ride ever
-
Pace Intensity Duration
There is slight headbanging, though it can be avoided by sitting in the middle and holding your head back. It is a consistently great ride throughout that is perfectly intense and fun
-
Theming Inversions Pace Discomfort
good coaster but unfortunately it made me sick which has lowered my bar and probably wont ride again cos I don't want to waste 1h of my day again
-
-
Intensity Layout
Very solid inverted coaster for the Uk but for me will always be in the shadow compared to Nemesis at Alton towers due to theming but the layout is still very good with being intense moments at the start with the drop into the vertical loop and the helix at the last moments of the ride. I wish the ride was a bit longer as is quite a short experience but packs a punch for what it is!
-
Inversions Intensity Smoothness Too short
An intense invert, with a good layout and - even after all these years - very smooth. It’s a bit short, but still a great ride, if not as good as its Northern sibling. The ride operations weren’t great, but certainly not bad. The theming in the tunnel at the start of the ride is great!
-
Pace Fun Intensity
It's fun but objectively speaking probably not B&M's finest effort. Thorpe Park is my home park so I tend to be biased due to some great memories of early coaster experiences. I'll always remember inferno as my first invert - something I was nervous about and it was just such a great first experience. Personally prefer Black Mamba at Phantasialand but still a solid coaster nonetheless.
-
Fun Intensity Rattle Disappointing! Layout
A weak B&M invert, plenty of dead spots and a truely baffling layout that just doesn't flow well. Overall its a fun ride, got a pretty bad rattle, but makes up for it with its intensity. Its absolutely MUCH worse than other B&M inverts, but at the same time its absolutely a fun ride.
-
Inversions Pace Intensity
I have nothing bad at all to say about this ride, an underrated invert with some insane intensity. Each inversion throws you around and it does become really disorienting after the 3rd corkscrew, but it will make you dizzy! Not massively but you’ll notice when you step off... The entire ride is smooth and enjoyable. Always love coming back to this.
-
Fun Rattle Too short Layout
A B&M invert is always a great time, but this one is nothing more than that. It's short, not that intense and it's even slowly starting to rattle. Don't make it a priority in your day, do it if it's empty but that's it.
-
Layout
I can tell it's definitely an older ride. It's definitely not my favourite b&m invert. I like it better in comfort than black mamba.
-
Inversions Intensity Smoothness Rattle
Nemesis Inferno is intense, punchy inversions, glossy smooth and good theming too. There is nothing too much you can fault it on. However, the turn around a and the end of the ride is kind of stale and there isn’t exactly a stand out thing about this ride. Nemesis (Reborn) is definitely better, but it’s a great ride by itself.
-
Theming Inversions Fun Rattle Harness
I'm not the biggest fan of B&M inverts, since I find they often are a bit too intense for me. I have found by now that I should ride them in the middle rows, not the front or back, and I'm fine. That being said, I loved Nemesis Inferno. The only B&M invert I rode multiple times during a themepark visit and didn't grey out on. Theming is good, inversions are good and forceful without being too intense. Not as smooth as nother B&M's and the non big boy seats were a bit tight in the restraints for me. Overall: solid coaster.
-
Nice surprise! Smoothness Layout
Surprisingly left my last visit with this as perhaps my favourite ride in the park! Both the front row ride at the start of the day and a back row ride at the end delivered a smooth exciting ride with plenty of memorable elements. Can't go wrong.
-
First Drop Theming Intensity Headbanging
I really do enjoy this ride, I know it’s often compared to its sister, located at Alton Towers, but regardless this is a great B&M invert. A bit of headbanging though.
-
Theming Intensity
A reasonable coaster that doesn't unfortunately meet the "nemesis" standard that you would expect. The layout is ok, and fairly intense. The ride does however need a repaint, as all the paint is very faded and it's noticeable! Between areas in shadow that haven't faded the same amount!
-
Inversions Pace Fun
Another well themed coaster, that while holds nothing to the original nemesis, is a really great ride in it’s own right. A really solid front sear t ride as you wizz round the volcano and jungle!
-
Theming
I liked Black Mamba more in every aspect, the prelift is unique tho so thats what the theming pro is for. Not a bad ride, but not Worth the 2 hours i had to wait
-
Ride is the weakest of the B&m invert However, the layout is still good yet predictable the loop is good, but lacks the intensity of nemesis and black mamba than the 0g roll is intense but predictable and slightly weaker than others I've done the first corkscrew lacks power and whip However, the second one is good but is a child ride compares to the Black mamba corkscrews the ride is ended off with a series of turns on Helix's personally this ride lacks originality, of Osiris the power of nemesis and the themeing of black mamba but then again, I've only done Europe's three Best invert plush Inferno so could be slightly harsh still enjoyable ride
-
Inversions Location Layout Too short
There really isn’t many flaws with nemesis inferno. It’s just not as good as its sister ride at Alton towers. It’s less intense and has a weaker layout. However, it’s still a great ride with some good forces and nice whippy inversions. Probably my least favourite out of all the thrill coasters at Thorpe park except from colossus though.
-
First Drop Pace Intensity Rattle
Quite suddenly, Nemesis Inferno has become extremely intense, possibly even more intense than it's Alton Towers sister. The loop in particular is a grey out moment every time for me, either up into it on the front row or as you exit it on the back. The last 2 helixes are very intense too, a great finale to the ride. The pre-lift section is fantastic as well, particularly when the fog is working, a very unique start to a coaster. Unfortunately the other thing it's developed of late is a fairly strong rattle at the back of the train, particularly in between the corkscrews and the turn after the zero g roll. Not painful or anything, just irritating. Not so strong at the front though. Overall a strong ride for Thorpe Park and a decent example of the trademark compact B&M invert.
-
Inversions Pace Intensity
Have they made this faster?? I don't remember it being so quick! My favourite coaster at Thorpe Park. It's worth queuing for the front to see where you're going. Though, even then, the speed and unrelenting twists and turns make even front-row viewing challenging!
-
Intensity Smoothness Layout Dead spots
Nemesis Inferno is a great ride that I would definitely recommend to anyone heading to Thorpe park, it is an intense thrilling rollercoaster that uses its space masterfully to stay in a very compact space but makes it really hard to follow the track making every twist and turn a surprise and it manages to have this amazing effect through its great layout and theming. Thanks to the theming of the ride being a jungle a lot of the ride is obscured by greenery which helps hide the track. The ride is very intense and very smooth and overall a very fun experience there are some dead spots here and there like at the beginning of the ride but other than that this ride is really enjoyable. If you are heading to Thorpe park this is a must-ride coaster which I would recommend riding at the begging of the day or the end of the day as the queue lines are the longest towards the middle of the day. In short, this ride is great with a great length, amazingly executed theming and awesome intensity, and definitely in my top three BnM coasters in the UK and definitely my 4th favourite ride at Thorpe Park. Thank you for reading and have a good day!

Theming Inversions Intensity
Nemesis Inferno is a great coaster with some powerful g forces like on the final helix! The pre lift section is very cool (if the mist actually works). The first drop is whippy and so is the loop. The zero g roll is probably the best inversion on the ride because it is very forceful and has good hangtime. The interlocking corkscrews are very fast and whippy as well as the helixes being very grey out inducing and feet tingling! The theming in the queue is pretty nice as you feel like you are in the jungle and the volcanos are a nice way of cooling off on a hot day from the mist coming out (if it works). Even if it my least favourite invert and I prefer the original Nemesis it is still a solid ride with a nice compact layout. In terms of where it sits in the line up, it is in the middle of the pack behind Stealth and Swarm.
-
Fun Smoothness Layout Too short Disappointing! Intensity
Nemesis Inferno is a fun ride, and has a great layout to add to it. It also has a great queue line inside a volcano. However, I found the ride the opposite of intense, which is very un B&M invert. It seems to be over in a flash too. I found it to be very underwhelming. My number 4 at the park, saved from last by Colossus' headbanging.

Inversions Fun Intensity Dead spots
I used to be the biggest inferno hater on the planet. Name something about the ride and I could have told you at least 3 things wrong about it. But, I`ve mellowed and I`ve realized that this ride ain`t so bad after all. Don`t get me wrong, it`s still got it`s faults and if we are talking inferno v the OG, i`m backing my main alien monster nemmy in staffordshire all the way. BUT. It has improved a fair bit for me and I actually really like it now. A snappy set of corkscrews, a really intense vertical loop, a half decent drop and some helixes at the end which dependent on how it`s running can be really, really intense. But it is quite possibly the most fluctuating ride i`ve ever been on. You could have one ride and say it was trash then go on straight after in the exact same seat and row and reach the brake run with jelly legs. It really is a roll of the dice. Generally speaking though i`ve had way more positive experiences than negative this year so i`m letting it largely off the hook with this one. Last year it was as reliable as a ryanair flight schedule based on good-bad ride ratio though so it`s difficult to say. One thing I wont back down on is that zero-g roll. I`ve felt more forces in my car driving down the motorway than on this element. Lots of people love it but it`s a bit of a stinker element for me. But as long as it keeps a great station audio, good forces on the other inversions and a (relatively at the moment) consistent intensity level then i`m a happy chappy. I must add, fright nights rides on this offer some of my favourite ride experiences i`ve done and it always seems to run so much better on a longer day when the wheels have warmed up EDIT: This is now my favourite coaster in the park and one of my favourites in the UK. Nemmy does still beat it but it`s amazing how opinions can change

Inversions Intensity Too short
Basically a superior Batman. I wish the laterals stood out more, but those interlocking heartline rolls SLAP and the ride definitely never lets up
-
Theming Intensity Harness
This is one of the most intense rides at Thorpe Park. The inversions are all amazing, especially going into that first vertical loop at the beginning. The restraints often sit loose on me which can be an issue of comfort some of the time but it isn't an issue for anyone else that I know. Theming is also good as the station is set inside of a volcano structure and feels very much like a Jungle in the surrounding area. It is also accompanied by the best soundtrack at Thorpe Park

Theming Inversions Fun Too short
This ride will always have a special place in my heart since it was the first looping rollercoaster I've been on. Love the smoke and the theming in general, wish it was longer but if the park is not too busy they let you go twice in a row!
-
Theming Smoothness Headbanging
This coaster honestly gets better every time I ride it. This is a common opinion, but this used to be my least favourite Thorpe Park coaster. That unenviable crown has now been taken by Colossus instead, and I solidly enjoyed my last ride on Nemesis Inferno. Back row is the place to be for sure.
-
First Drop Theming Fun Too short Disappointing! Intensity
i change my opinion about this ride a lot. sometimes it runs amazingly but most of the time it runs pretty slow which makes it lack intensity. I do love the amount of trees throughout the layout for the track to weave in and out of.
-
Theming Inversions Intensity Too short
This is one of the weaker inverts I have been on, but on the other hand, the competition is strong - Nemesis Inferno is not a bad ride by any means: Theming is well done (I like the lush vegetation underneath it and the section before the lifthill is also a nice gimmick) and the ride experience is your typical intense and smooth invert with fun inversions and some forceful turns, albeit the latter are not as strong as Black Mamba. While being longer than it's namesake in Alton Towers, this ride feels shorter, I think this is due to the fairly long pre-lift section. As a result, this ride feels like it is missing something, but I cannot say what exactly. Operations are kind of a mixed bag, but mostly, they were okay. Overall, this is the third best coaster of Thorpe Park and definetely worth a ride. The biggest con is the awkward choice of the name - cause it's not really being related to the Nemesis at Alton Towers, I personally think just "Inferno" would be much better.
-
Inversions Comfort Intensity
This is a very fun ride, I always have a good time on Nemesis Inferno. I think the issue is it just doesn't quite throw you around the way its older brother does.
-
Theming Fun Smoothness Too short
Even though it's not my favourite at thorpe park it's the one I rode the most. Probably because of how fun and smooth it is, it is quick as-well (I love quick rides.) It was so fun it felt short.
-
Inversions Pace Layout
This ride is a very special coaster to me, it was my first ever intense ride and I will love it forever although it has a couple things it could be better at. On the front row its very rough, also the most in the tunnel could definitely be more reliable. The ride is quite intense and a great warm up for the bigger rides. I usually do it first, in my opinion 4.5-4/5 but recommend going back or middle row
-
Theming Nice surprise! Fun Too short
I rode this one without a lot of expectations, but I really liked the light volcanic theming, especially that early swoop through the steam machines. The layout is also great, if a little short. This was a highlight of my day, and the interlocking corkscrew was incredible. I walked off this one unsure what had even just happened because so much seems to happen in such a short time.
-
Inversions Pace Intensity Rattle
Nemmy Inferno is a great invert that is unfortunately overlooked due to sharing a similar name to Nemesis at Alton Towers. This ride is still very fun though. The pacing is on par with Batclones and it still retains the whip found on the 90s inverts. I feel like this ride is slept on and it deserves a lot more attention that it receives.
-
Inversions Pace Intensity
Fast, Fun, Whippy and Intense. What more could you want from an invert.
-
Inversions Pace Intensity Too short
Does this thing get more and more intense every year? Because it certainly feels like it. I get my best ever rides on it year after year; it's consistently hauling. Especially the night rides are simply ridiculous. The thing just does not slow down but does end pretty quickly, although the prelift makes up for it. I absolutely hate the queue line for it though, anything over 60 feels like a dealbreaker because the cattlepen is simply nothing short of misery to stand in.
-
Inversions Intensity Headbanging
The first time I rode this I was a little bit let down due to it being a bit painful. But next time I went to Thorpe I got a few awesome rides.
-
fire roar
-
First Drop Theming Intensity
This ride is so enjoyable. The bit before the lift-hill is really fun and lets you see some incredible bits of theming. The first drop is really exciting, and the rest of the ride is intense. The only slight flaw is that it's nothing new or extraordinary.
-
Theming Inversions Location Layout
A solid coaster. One of the weaker coasters at Thorpe park but still decent. The ride itself has ok force and really whippy inversions and snappy turns but I can put help to feel that the ride can get a bit repetitive. There a two back to back zero g rolls and 2 back to back helixes which can get boring. In conclusion it is an enjoyable ride but the name always puts it down.
-
Fun Intensity Layout
Obviously not as impressive as it’s namesake at Alton Towers, this ride was still very intense and has a great layout. You can’t go wrong with a B&M invert, they are smooth yet intense. Great addition to Thorpe Park, and the third strongest in the lineup (After Stealth&Swarm) in my opinion.
-
Theming Nice surprise! Intensity Too short Layout
Surprisingly intense with a cool theme. Ends too soon and feels like it does nothing special. Stupid name too
-
Theming Inversions Pace Too short
While not as good as its big brother at Alton Towers, Nemesis Inferno still manages to be a punchy and enjoyable ride with nice inversions. As with most B&M inverts, it's smooth and comfortable to ride with no headbanging. The jungle theming works well, but stops abruptly when you exit the ride and end up on a gantry next to a service road - did the money run out during construction?
-
Theming Inversions Smoothness
I love Nemesis Inferno. It is well themed, has a great compact layout, and is quite intense. It's also one of the smoothest coasters I've ridden. The corkscrews and zero G roll are excellent. I find it is extremely underrated.

Pace Fun Intensity Rattle
This is a really underrated coaster. I really have nothing bad to say about this ride, except it has a bit of a B&M rattle to it, but it really does not affect the ride that much.
